Mystic Energy?

Erie walked up to the stage and noticed that Malik had a golden ribbon, and his watch indicated that he was a rank C. If Erie were to fight Malik outside of this sparring match, he knew he would not have a chance of winning.

But in class, Gojo declared abilities to be banned during this session. Erie's body was more substantial than that of the top athletes now. He was already faster than everyone at the school. The books he read about sun warriors were close to those about vampires; the strength and speed were far more significant than those of the human race; if this was the case, Erie still couldn't figure out why or how the sun warriors were banned.

Malik walked up to the platform with his hands in his pockets. He didn't seem interested in the spar. Erie saw two kunai on the side of his pants. Gojo spotted the kunai and told Malik to put them away to prevent accidents.

Malik did as told and returned to the stage, placing his hands back into his pockets.

"Training mode has been detected."

"Gravity enhanced by Thirty Percent."

"If the Sparing partner is defeated, bonus experience points will be awarded."

The system did not let up on Erie whenever he went in for a spar. Erie sighed as he felt the air thicken around him, but he also thought he could move slightly better than before.

"Is this because my strength stats have increased?"

Gojo noticed the distortion around Erie and felt the pressure around him change. He looked around to see if anyone was using some gravitational manipulation on Erie, but he couldn't prove it or see anything otherwise.

"Is he using gravity on himself, but he has a bronze ribbon?"

He walked between Erie and Malike and made them bump fists. Gojo smiled, and he began the match.

"Fight!" Gojo yelled. "Let's see how you do, Erie," he couldn't help but think to himself.

Malik stood back and waited for Erie to approach him. He took one hand from his pocket and gestured for Erie to charge in. Erie rushed in, and something tried to happen to him. The system chimed in on the attack.

"Mystic integration has been completed."

"User body has fully adjusted to mystic energy."

Erie moved in faster than Malik thought he would. His surprised look said it all. Erie rushed in and threw a punch towards Malik's face.

"What the hell!" Malik screamed, trying to take a step back to dodge the punch, but the punch connected, jolting Malik's head back. Erie didn't let up; he took this opportunity to follow up with a gut punch. Causing Mailk to fall over and hold his stomach.

Erie saw the opportunity to hit Malik in the head, and he did so as hard as he could; after hitting him, Malik's vision blurred, and all he heard was the student's reaction. Behind him, he looked at Erie and tried to stand back up.

He didn't want to give Malik a chance to fight back because he knew the gravity enhancement would weigh on him, but Erie wish to win the match and get additional experience points. He was ready to level up to level four.

But he didn't have to wait until after the last punch. Malik finally fell to the ground, and he was out cold.

Gojo watched Erie the entire time to see if the distortion weighing on him would spread to Malik, but it didn't. It stayed around Erie time; he smiled and walked up the platform.

"Winner, Erie sunheart," Gojo yelled.

"Higher-level appointees have been defeated."

"Congratulations, you have defeated an opponent in a spar with gravity enhancement."

"300 Experience points have been granted."

"430 of 400 Experience points."

"You are now level Four."

"30 of 800 Experience points."

"One stat point has been granted."

"Additional stat points have been granted, two stats total."

"New skill: Mystic enhancement."

After defeating Maki, Erie received multiple messages. The experience points were the same when he sparred with Lilly, but he lost against her. he did not know whether it was because Malik was at a higher level than him or because of gravity; he hoped to get more rewards like this.

Erie couldn't help but pay attention to the additional skill. Erie heard the system chime in during his fight, and Mystic was fully integrated. He wanted to check out his system notifications, but knew he needed to get off stage. As he walked off one side of the classroom, he was cheered and noticed that the other side glared at him.

"Did I do something wrong?" Erie couldn't help but think to himself.

Erie noticed that one of the girls on the left side of the classroom started pulling on Lilly, walking her away from where she and Lilly were standing.

"Hey! We all saw Erie speed up," a boy yelled. He used an ability. He cheated."

"Yeah, Malik is a golden ribbon fighter; he would mop the floor with that orphan, " someone yelled across the classroom. "Yeah, he needs to be punished for using an ability! "because if he could, then Malik should've used his also!"

While Erie stood in place, he looked Gojo in the eyes, but someone else chimed in before Gojo got to intervene. "You're just mad because you city kids thought you were stronger!"

Gojo rubbed the temple on his head and sighed.

"You city kids are so weak that you can't even keep up with the weaker ones from our group. And you all call yourselves elites!"

"Well, I beat your ass! And I'll do it again, orphan boy!"

"Enough!" Gojo yelled.

He stepped up in front of the class and began talking.

"This is the first time I've seen this type of devide in this school. But it will not happen in my class!" he yelled.

"Erie didn't use an ability! he pointed back towards the man in the corner." The man walked up and placed his hand on Malik's chest, and Malik vanished. "This man can vouch for Erie."

"The student, Erie Sun Heart, did not use an ability." He then walked away and sat back down in his chair.

"Then how can you explain him speeding up the way he did?" a boy yelled. "We would like to know!"

Chatters, as the students grew, it was clear that Erie had a bronze ribbon, and his rank was a 'Triple-F.'

Triple-F meant you had no ability, skill, or energy reserves. It meant you were at the complete bottom.

"Enough!" Gino's voice boomed. "As you know, the moment you step foot on this stage, we have a special device that suppresses your energy resources, and you won't be able to use that ability."

"Now, with that being said, class is almost over, and I want you all to go back to your seats!"

As the students sat in their seats, their arguments with each other got louder. The left side of the classroom threw hate comments to the right, and this wasn't individual arguments—it was group arguments.

Lilly and Erie stared at each other and couldn't help but wonder what was happening. But Lilly finally asked Erie what he had done.

"I never saw you move that way before," she whispered. "What did you do?"

"I'm not sure. I just felt a rush come through me, and suddenly, I felt lighter and stronger." Erie said.

"Well, whatever it was, Erie, you must hide it better."

Even with the petty arguments, the class finally settled down, and many students talked about the first day of class. However, when Erie stepped into the room, he caught Erie's attention. Something about Erie's tan skin and Orange reminded him of something.

Gojo dismissed the class and sat at his desk, tapping his finger for a few minutes. The man in the back of the chair walked to Gojo's desk and stood before him.

"He reminds me of them," the man said.

"Yeah, I just can't put the finger on it, but I feel like he resembles someone I knew." He flipped through the holographic screen that floated on his work desk. "Ahh, there you go. Erie sunheart. Bronze Ribbon, Triple-F rank. From Western Orphanage Village."

The man in front of Gojo smiled. "Looks like one of them finally arrived. It's been a long time." He smiled. "Let's watch him closely and push him to his limits." He smiled and then walked out of the classroom. He placed a hoodie over his head and left.

Gojo tapped a pen on his desk a few times, thinking. "To his limits, huh? Well, I can do that."
