Aro exhaled sharply as the numbers stacked against him. Twenty-five members of the Backstabber Gang stood in formation, their eyes gleaming with the promise of an easy hunt. Jerry smirked, stepping forward, confidence dripping from his stance.

Then ..

An object flew toward Aro, and before he could react, a chocolate bar landed neatly in his palm.

"Eat this," Gwyne said, standing casually beside him. "I know your stamina isn't at full capacity."

Aro narrowed his eyes. How does he know that?

But now wasn't the time to question it.

He unwrapped the chocolate and shoved it into his mouth.

Aro flexed his fingers. He felt it. The raw, unshackled potential burning in his veins. His fists clenched as energy surged through his body—he was faster, sharper, stronger.

A slow, dark grin spread across his lips.

The fight was about to change.

---

THE BATTLE BEGINS

Aro twisted his wrist, feeling the sheer power coursing through his limbs. He shifted his stance—a predator locking onto its prey.

Bryan cracked his knuckles, eyes locked on the enemy. "Are you with us, Gwyne?"

Gwyne smirked, adjusting his sleeves. "As you wish... But I'm not doing this for free. First, let's clean up this mess."

Bryan turned to Aro. "You ready?"

Aro exhaled, his presence shifting—a silent storm brewing.

Then—

A roar tore through his throat.

"WAAAAAH!"

> !!! NOTIFICATION !!!

FEAR INDUCED — BACKSTABBER GANG (-12%) MORALE DROP

[Enemies Hesitating]

The weaker ones flinched, their grips loosening on their weapons. The air grew heavier, their instincts screaming at them to run.

Jerry's grin twitched. "Tch. Don't falter!

Then—Aro moved.

ASSASSIN-STYLE COMBAT INITIATED—

His foot slammed into the ground. In an instant, he was inside their formation.

> Enemy 1 — DISARMED (Wrist Joint Manipulated)

Enemy 2 — STUNNED (Neck Strike)

Enemy 3 — INCAPACITATED (Leg Sweep + Elbow to the Spine)

Three down in a blink.

Aro ducked as two more rushed him.

He twisted between them, delivering a lightning-fast palm strike to one's jaw and a spinning kick to the other's ribs.

> !!! NOTIFICATION !!!

Multiple Opponents Engaged! Danger Level Rising!

Four more surrounded him.

A fist whistled past his ear. Aro slid underneath the attack, using the momentum to vault over another enemy's shoulder. He landed behind them and—

CRACK!

A spinning backfist sent one enemy sprawling. Another charged, but Aro sidestepped, redirecting his momentum into another thug.

> Two More Down!

---

GWYNE'S FLAWLESS EXECUTION

Gwyne moved like flowing water, his footwork precise, his attacks landing with effortless grace.

But then—

A strike connected.

A kick slammed into his ribs, sending him skidding backward. He wiped the blood from his lip, smirking.

"Okay… I'll admit, that stung."

He adjusted his stance, eyes gleaming. "My turn."

Then, his elbows smashed into the ribs of his opponents, his fingers struck pressure points, and his legs weaved through enemies as if he were performing a deadly dance.

An opponent swung a pipe at him—Gwyne bent backward, letting it pass just inches from his nose before stepping forward and driving his knee into the man's stomach.

Another lunged with a knife. Gwyne deflected it with the back of his hand, twisted the attacker's wrist, and sent him flying with a brutal kick.

Even with the overwhelming number of foes, he never lost control. Each movement was precise, each strike placed exactly where it needed to be.

But the numbers kept coming.

---

BRYAN'S BRUTE FORCE

Unlike Aro's finesse, Bryan was pure raw power.

He plowed through enemies like a wrecking ball. His fists were hammers, each punch sending bodies crashing into walls.

But the numbers were overwhelming.

A punch clipped his jaw. Another landed on his ribs. He grunted but stood his ground, his breathing heavy.

"Damn… these guys just keep coming."

Then—four opponents rushed him at once.

He grinned. "Alright… let's see how tough you really are."

---

JERRY MOVES IN

Jerry watched, waiting.

Then— he vanished.

Aro's eyes widened. Fast!

Jerry appeared behind Bryan—a steel pipe swinging straight for his head.

Aro's mind snapped into action.

> !!! WARNING !!!

KILLING INTENT DETECTED — OVERRIDE INITIATED

Everything slowed.

Aro's body moved before his mind could process.

> Chrono Nexus: Future Projection Activated

— Perfect Counter Sequence: Located

BOOM!

Aro crossed the distance in a fraction of a second, his foot colliding with Jerry's wrist. The steel pipe flew from his grasp.

Jerry's eyes widened in shock.

Aro grinned. "Too slow."

But before Jerry could react—

BRYAN'S FIST CRASHED INTO HIS FACE.

The force sent Jerry flying backward, his body slamming into the pavement.

Bryan cracked his knuckles, rolling his shoulders. "That's for trying to pull some cheap tricks."

---

THE FINAL MOMENT

Backstabber Gang was falling apart. Their formation was broken, their morale shattered.

Bryan stood among unconscious enemies, breathing heavily.

Gwyne wiped blood from his mouth, stepping beside Aro.

Jerry clutched his ribs, fury burning in his eyes. "Tch... this isn't over."

Then—

A slow, deliberate clap echoed from behind.

Emerging from the darkness, a man clearly no student of Royal Society High School stepped forward. He was older, four, maybe five years ahead of them, his presence radiating an aura of danger that made even Jerry's thugs shift uneasily.

Aro felt it before he even saw him.

A presence unlike anything before.

The real enemy had arrived.

And the battle was far from over.
