The Rise of the Moon's Chosen
Chapter 6: The Dark Lycan's Wrath
The battlefield stood frozen as Hadrian's transformation reached its peak.
His body had grown massive, covered in black, smoke-like fur that absorbed the moonlight. His claws had tripled in length, glowing with a sinister red hue. His eyes—once blood-red—had turned into pits of pure darkness.
A Dark Lycan.
The warriors of the Blood Wolf Pack staggered back in horror. Even the most battle-hardened among them had never seen something like this.
Jax muttered, "This… this shouldn't be possible."
Selene, gripping her bow, whispered, "Marcos… what do we do?"
Marcos felt the weight of the moment. This was beyond anything he had prepared for.
But he couldn't back down.
He took a deep breath, his silver aura flickering around him. If Hadrian had unlocked his darkest form, then Marcos had no choice but to embrace his own power.
Hadrian grinned, his voice a deep, monstrous growl.
"What's wrong, Moon's Chosen? Are you afraid?"
Then, without warning, he moved.
---
The Battle Begins
Hadrian vanished in a blur of speed.
Before Marcos could move , a clawed hand smashed into his chest.
CRACK!
Pain shot through Marcos' ribs as he was launched through the air, crashing through the stone walls of the fortress.
BOOM!
Marcos groaned, coughing up blood. His vision blurred for a moment. He had never been hit that hard before.
Hadrian stepped through the dust, his black fur rippling with power.
"Is this all you have? Pathetic."
Marcos clenched his fists. His blood dripped onto the ground… and began to glow.
---
The Lunar's Power Awakens
Marcos felt something shift inside him.
His heartbeat slowed. His breathing became steady.
The Lunar's power was reacting to his pain.
His veins pulsed with silver light. His body grew lighter, stronger.
Selene gasped. "Marcos… your eyes."
Marcos lifted his head, his silver irises now pure white, glowing like miniature moons.
For the first time, he understood.
He wasn't just a Lycan.
He was the Alpha of Alphas.
The true Moon's Chosen.
---
The Turning Point
Hadrian lunged again, his claws aiming for Marcos' throat.
But this time, Marcos moved faster.
He caught Hadrian's wrist in mid-air.
Hadrian's eyes widened. "What—"
CRACK!
Marcos squeezed, snapping Hadrian's wrist.
Hadrian howled in pain, stumbling back. His dark energy flickered for a second.
Jax's jaw dropped. "No way… Marcos is overpowering him!"
Marcos vanished again.
A second later, he reappeared behind Hadrian—and slammed his fist into his back.
BOOM!
Hadrian crashed into the ground, the impact shaking the entire battlefield.
The Blood Wolf warriors stared in shock.
Selene whispered, "Marcos is faster now. Stronger."
Darius nodded. "This is the true power of the Lunar."
Hadrian fell to his feet, blood dripping from his mouth.
His eyes burned with intense Fury .
"You… YOU THINK YOU CAN DEFEAT ME?!"
Marcos locked eyes with him. His aura pulsed, pure and unstoppable.
"Your time is over, Hadrian."
Hadrian let out a monstrous roar.
Dark clouds swirled above, lightning flashing as a massive black vortex formed.
Selene's face paled. "He's calling something."
Then, from the shadows, something came out .
A huge, demonic wolf, covered in shadowy chains, its eyes burning with eternal fire.
Jax cursed. "You've gotta be kidding me."
Darius' face darkened. "That's… a Titan Wolf."
A beast of legend. A creature said to have been banished by the Moon Goddess herself.
Hadrian laughed, his voice twisted with madness.
"Now, Marcos… LET'S SEE YOU SURVIVE THIS!"
The Titan Wolf roared, shaking the entire battlefield.
Marcos clenched his fists.
This wasn't just a battle anymore.
This was a war for the fate of all werewolves.
