Beautiful Feeling

After a moment full of warmth in the piano studio, Steve and Viona decided to spend the rest of the day strolling leisurely around the city.

Steve held Viona's hand as they walked along a small street in Tokyo, enjoying the peaceful evening atmosphere. Neon lights illuminated the streets, while the chilly air added warmth between them.

"Have you ever thought," Steve suddenly said, "that if we hadn't come to Japan, maybe our relationship would still be the same as before?"

Viona turned to him, smiling faintly. "Maybe. Or maybe we were destined to reach this point, wherever we were."

Steve nodded, then looked at Viona with love in his eyes. "I never expected I could be this brave to express my feelings."

Viona chuckled softly. "And I never expected to finally see you as more than just a friend."

Steve tightened his grip on her hand. "So, is this official then?"

Viona pretended to think for a moment. "Hmm... if you buy me ice cream, I'll admit it officially."

Steve laughed. "Okay, deal!"

They stopped by a small ice cream shop on the corner of the street and enjoyed ice cream while chatting lightly. After finishing, Steve looked at her meaningfully. "Now, you have to keep your promise."

Viona looked at him and smiled. "Alright. Steve..." She squeezed his hand tightly. "We're officially dating."

Steve smiled broadly, then without hesitation, he gently kissed Viona's forehead.

"I'm glad to finally hear that directly from you," he whispered.

Viona smiled, feeling her heart grow more confident.

The next day, Theresia and James took Steve and Viona to a small hill in Kyoto. The view of the city from there was beautiful, especially with the autumn leaves in golden colors.

"Why are we here?" Viona asked curiously.

Theresia smiled. "Because I want you to have sweet memories here before you go home."

They sat under a tree, enjoying the gentle breeze and the peaceful atmosphere around them.

Steve looked at Viona sitting next to him, then said softly, "I'm happy to be on this journey with you."

Viona turned and smiled. "Me too. It feels like a dream."

Steve took her hand, holding it tightly. "But this isn't a dream, Vi. It's reality. And I want us to continue this journey even after we get back home."

Viona looked deeply into his eyes, then nodded. "I want that too."

Theresia, watching them from a distance, smiled with satisfaction. "Mission accomplished," she whispered to James.

James chuckled. "Yeah, and now we can go home peacefully."

They all spent the rest of the day talking and laughing together, creating memories they would never forget.

As the sun began to set, Steve pulled Viona into an embrace. "I will never forget this moment."

Viona nodded, resting her head on Steve's chest. "Me too."

And with that, they closed their journey in Japan with hearts full of happiness.

However, their journey as a new couple had just begun.

Upon returning from Japan, life went back to normal for Viona, Steve, Theresia, and James. But one night, their phones rang almost simultaneously.

A digital invitation arrived.

Frans was inviting them to his wedding with Calista.

Viona stared at her phone screen for a long time. Frans's name was clearly displayed there, along with his pre-wedding photo with Calista. The two looked matched—Frans in an elegant suit and Calista looking graceful in her white dress.

Theresia, who was sitting next to her, immediately commented, "Wow, this looks so luxurious."

James, who also received the invitation, chimed in, "No surprise there, Calista is the perfectionist type. I'm sure their wedding will be like a gala event."

Steve glanced at Viona, searching for signs of her reaction. "Are you... okay?"

Viona smiled faintly. "I'm fine. This is just how it was meant to be."

Theresia sighed, then raised her eyebrows. "So... are we going or not?"

James shrugged. "Frans is mature enough to keep our friendships. I wouldn't mind going."

Steve stayed silent, waiting for Viona to provide an answer.

Viona finally spoke softly, "We should go. It's a good closure for everything that has passed."

Steve smiled faintly, then took Viona's hand and held it tightly. "If that's the case, we'll go together."

Theresia laughed. "So it's a double date, huh?"

James added, "For sure, we'll have to look sharp at the party."

They laughed together, but in their hearts, they knew that Frans's wedding was not just an ordinary party. It was the end of one chapter in their lives and the beginning of something new.

The day of Frans and Calista's wedding finally arrived.

Viona, Steve, Theresia, and James arrived at the magnificent venue. The hotel ballroom was decorated with white and gold flowers, and crystal lights hung lavishly from the ceiling. The guests were dressed elegantly, and the atmosphere truly felt like a dream party.

Theresia gasped in awe. "Wow, this feels like a red carpet event."

James chuckled softly. "Of course, it's Frans and Calista. They wouldn't throw an ordinary party."

Viona took a deep breath. Although she felt okay, standing in this place made her a little nervous. However, Steve's hand on her waist gave her comfort.

"If you're not comfortable, we can step outside for a bit," Steve whispered.

Viona shook her head and smiled. "I'm okay. Let's go in."

They walked into the ballroom, joining the other guests. Some people recognized them, even some greeted Viona with meaningful glances. Nevertheless, Viona remained calm.

Before long, the music turned soft. All eyes turned to the stage where Frans and Calista had just ascended.

Frans looked handsome in his white suit, while Calista was truly stunning in an elegant wedding gown. Their smiles looked blissful.

When their eyes met, Frans gave a small nod towards Viona.

Viona responded with a smile.

Beside her, Steve smiled proudly seeing her able to handle all of this with composure.

When the greeting session began, they finally stood in front of Frans and Calista.

"Congratulations, Frans," Viona said sincerely.

Frans smiled. "Thanks, Vi. I'm glad you came."

Calista also smiled. "Glad to meet you in person, Viona. And you too, Steve."

Steve nodded politely. "Congratulations to both of you."

There were many things that didn't need to be said because everything had already passed.

After that, they enjoyed the party, chatting with other guests and savoring delicious food. Viona felt lighter, more relieved.

That night, while dancing with Steve, Viona looked at him and smiled softly.

"I'm grateful that everything turned out like this," she murmured.

Steve gazed at her lovingly. "Me too."

At that moment, Viona realized—she had truly moved on.

After the wedding party ended, Viona and Steve walked out of the ballroom, enjoying the cool evening breeze in the hotel garden.

"I can't believe everything ended up like this," Viona said while gazing at the sky. "I used to think my life would always be tied to Frans."

Steve held her hand tightly. "Sometimes life gives us paths we never expected, but that's often the best thing."

Viona smiled and looked at him. "You always know what to say, don't you?"

Steve laughed softly. "I am a piano teacher after all; I should know the right rhythm."

They both laughed.

Not far from them, Theresia and James were also standing, enjoying the atmosphere.

Theresia elbowed James. "Finally, after all the drama, we can see Viona and Steve like this."

James smiled. "Yeah, and look at Frans and Calista. They're happy with their own path too."

Theresia sighed in relief. "Finally, everyone has found their place."

That night, after the wedding concluded, the four of them decided to return to their respective homes.

On the way back, Viona leaned her head on Steve's shoulder. "I'm grateful to have met you," she murmured.

Steve kissed the top of her head. "Me too."

And for the first time after everything that happened, Viona felt truly at peace.

She had closed one chapter of her life and opened a new page—together with Steve.

A few months after Frans and Calista's wedding, life flowed quietly for Viona, Steve, Theresia, and James.

Viona got busier with her studies, but this time, Steve was by her side. The piano teacher was not only a caring partner but also a patient listener every time Viona wanted to talk about her increasingly challenging college work.

One night, after a tiring study session, Viona and Steve sat on the balcony of Viona's apartment, enjoying warm tea.

"I never expected I could be this relaxed," Viona said with a smile. "I used to worry so much about the future, about relationships, about everything."

Steve reached for Viona's hand and gently held it. "That's because you've found the right place. You've been heading towards something better."

Viona looked at Steve with deep gratitude. "And you're a part of that too."

Steve smiled, then gazed at the night sky full of stars. "We've been through a lot, haven't we?"

Viona nodded. "Yes. And I'm happy that we are finally here."

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Frans and Calista had just returned from a business trip. Calista set down her suitcase and stretched her body.

"So, my busy husband, how does it feel to be married and working with your wife?" Calista teased, smiling playfully.

Frans chuckled. "Tiring, but enjoyable."

Calista approached him and wrapped her arms around Frans's neck. "I'm glad we finally reached this point."

Frans nodded. "Me too."

They exchanged glances, then laughed softly. Life may not always go according to plan, but they had found happiness in their own way.

Elsewhere, Theresia and James were preparing for their new journey, this time to Europe.

Theresia checked her flight tickets and squealed with excitement. "We're going to have so much fun there!"

James shook his head, smiling. "You never seem to run out of energy, do you?"

Theresia laughed. "Life should be enjoyed, James. We have to keep creating new stories."

And that's exactly what they did.

Everyone had found their way.

Every story has its own ending.

But life continues, bringing them new adventures that they still do not know.

THE END.
