I was browsing through the kids' section while holding Ashley's hand. Thank goodness I had made a list of the items I needed for her—otherwise, I was sure I would have forgotten something important.

Taking one last look at my notes, I went over the list:

Toiletries – Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, powder, oil, cream, etc.

Clothes – Shoes, onesies, hair clips, jackets, frocks, dresses, etc.

Toys – A few Barbie dolls and a Lego set

Satisfied that I had everything covered, I took a deep breath and continued shopping.

This was just a rushed shopping trip, and I knew I would need a more detailed list to buy everything properly for Ashley. She was a growing child, so I had to think ahead and get things according to her upcoming needs.
