chapter 27

We walked inside the huge barn, the scent of fresh hay and earth filling the air. A vast field of greenery stretched beyond, dotted with grazing animals.

An old lady, dressed in a faded apron, was busy putting hay in the cattle feeder. She straightened up, dusting off her hands, and walked toward us.

"Yes, you need anything, ladies?" she asked, her voice warm but curious.

"Good morning, Grandma," I greeted her politely before getting straight to the point. "Actually, we're looking to purchase some farm animals. We heard your farm deals with livestock sales."

The old lady's face lit up in understanding. "Ohh, you want to buy animals? Well, come inside. I'll call my son—he's the one who handles these things."
