Chapter 1 The Journey Begin

Chinese Tang Dynasty Story

Made by an Unfamous Philippine Author

Feng Ran POV.....

I woke up because of the light that hit my eyes. As I sat up, I felt the pain in my body and saw myself sprawled on the grass. I couldn't remember anything, all I could recall was being chased by several people until I lost consciousness. "Ouch... ahhh, my whole body hurts. Wait, where am I? H-h-how did I end up here?"...

I could really feel the stinging of my wounds. I had so many wounds from a sword and cuts from arrows. I was about to stand up when I suddenly stumbled. "Ouch, awwwhh, my leg hurts. Why did I have to get hit by an arrow in the leg?" I slowly pulled out the arrow that was embedded in my thigh, and when I got it out, I tore off the bottom part of my dress and tied it around the upper part of my wound to stop the bleeding.

I walked and walked until...

I walked and walked until I reached the town market and asked.

"Sir, sir, what town is this?"

"Oh my dear, you must be new here."

"Yes, I am."

"Well then, this is the town of Su."

Su??... I don't know this town. But how would I know anything when I don't even know my own name?

"Okay, sir, thank you very much."

"Oh dear, you're welcome... wait, wait, miss, be careful on your journey."

I was puzzled by what he said, and I couldn't stop myself from asking.

"b-bbe careful, Young Lady " he said. "W-w-why? What's going on?"

"Well, there's talk around here that the Crow Clan is abducting young women who are fifteen years old. So you need to be careful."

"Why are they taking women? And why only fifteen-year-olds?"

"I don't know the reason, but people say they're looking for Feng Mian's missing daughter, the Queen of the Phoenixes. And Feng Mian's daughter is said to be fifteen years old."

"But why is the Crow Clan searching for her and not the Phoenix Clan?"

"Oh my dear, that I cannot answer because I don't know... I myself am wondering why it's the Crow Clan who's making moves and not the Phoenix... All I know is that the women they take never return."

"Is that so... thank you sir. I'll be going now."

"You're welcome, young lady."

I continued walking... I'm scared because of what I heard. I'm wondering why the name Feng Mian is familiar, but I can't remember where I heard it...

As I scratched my head, I suddenly cried out in pain. "Ouch, awhhhhh, it hurts!" I touched my head again and slowly felt around. I realized that I had a wound, but I just ignored it. and looked for a place to stay because it was getting dark.

I found a hut that was a bit broken, but it could do for one night... Before I went inside the hut, I gathered some dry branches and wood to make a fire because it was cold there.

I went inside the hut and arranged the wood I had gathered and started to make a fire. I struck the two stones I was holding to make a fire, but it wouldn't light.

"If only I had powers, I would have made it a long time ago. How am I going to do this? I'm so useless. I can't even remember anything, and I can't even make a fire." I threw the stone I was holding near the wood I had arranged, and I was surprised when it suddenly smoked and slowly grew stronger. The fire started.

I woke up because of the scream I heard outside. I secretly peeked outside and saw soldiers forcibly taking a woman who I think was not more than twenty years old. She was being forcibly taken by the soldiers. I remembered what the man at the Su market said yesterday, this must be the Crow Clan. I was scared that I would be next, so I slowly walked away from the hut, but before I could get far, a soldier saw me and they immediately chased me. I ran and ran until I suddenly felt pain in my leg and saw that my wound was bleeding because of my running. After a while, my leg went numb and I fell down.

"S-stay away from me, don't come near me!! What do you want from me? Why are you chasing me?!" I backed away as I retreated, trying to pull myself back.

"Soldiers, take this girl," ordered the man who looked like the general of their group.

"STOP!" I heard a man say. He slowly landed on the ground and blocked me.

"Chen Feng from the Wolf Clan?? Am I right?" their general asked.

"You know Chen Feng, don't meddle here, get out of here, you have no right to interfere, you're just a lowly wolf," their general said.

"I'm afraid you're the one who has no right to interfere and meddle. This woman you're chasing is under our care," Chen Feng said.

"Ours? Don't tell me you mean the four of you, Hua Que, Ah Jun, and Hua Shou?"

"Yes, why, is there a problem, General Jin Yu?" I heard a woman's voice descending, followed by two men.

"Yes, there is a problem, why do you think there's no problem? Soldiers, take that girl!!" their general signaled and suddenly it rained arrows. The woman blocked all the arrows that were headed my way, but even though the Woman was fast, I was still hit... I was hit in the chest. I coughed up blood and slowly felt myself getting dizzy and my vision blurred and I lost consciousness. The last thing I heard was, "Let's go quickly, she's hit in the chest." I heard the woman's last word.

Hua Que POV....

"There's a cave, Ah Jun, we'll treat her there first. Hurry, she might lose too much blood. Put her down here, Ah Jun."

"Chen Feng, get me some ginseng, it's in my medicine box and boil it for her to drink."

"Okay, I'll take care of the ginseng tea."

I started removing the arrow that was lodged in the chest of the woman we rescued, but I was only able to remove the body of the arrow and the arrowhead remained inside. The wound is quite deep, but far from the heart.

"I need to cut open her chest and remove the embedded arrowhead, but the bleeding might not stop and she might die."

"Start doing what needs to be done, even if you don't remove it, she'll die. There's a better chance if you remove it," Hua Shou said without even looking.

"He's right, Hua Que, there's a better chance if you remove the arrowhead," Ah Jun chimed in.

I started cleaning all her wounds and also noticed that she was hot, she was burning with fever and she had a wound on her head, I cleaned it too.

"I don't have anything to cut her chest open with... wait, Hua Shou, can I borrow your sword?"

"Why my sword?"

"Whose sword among us has the sharpest edge? Isn't it yours?" Hua Shou didn't answer and just nodded.

I took his sword and started cleaning the sword and my hands. I started cutting open her chest to get the arrowhead, when I had cut it open properly, I started getting the tip of the arrow with my hand, when I pulled it, the woman we rescued screamed.

"AAAHHHHH" When she screamed, her wings appeared. Not just wings, a pair of fiery phoenix wings, red wings and I'm sure that the one I'm treating is Feng Mian's daughter. The four of us looked at each other at what we saw and Ah Jun suddenly broke the silence.

"She's… she's the missing daughter of the Phoenix Queen, she's Fe-Feng Ran," Ah Jun said in amazement.

I finished cleaning her and changed her clothes.

"It's a good thing we rescued her, otherwise she might have died and her golden core would have been taken..... Chen Feng, give me the ginseng tea... wait, aren't Phoenixes strong and good at fighting and using sword? Why did she seem like she didn't..." Before I could finish what I was saying, Chen Feng suddenly spoke.

"Maybe she was just scared."

"W-whho are you? Why am I h-hhere? And where is this?"

"Don't you remember us? We're the ones who rescued you earlier from the Crow Clan." I said calmly.

"What's your name, miss?"

" I don't know...I've been trying to remember my name since yesterday, but I can't remember anything. Yesterday I just woke up in the meadow and I don't remember anything. I've forgotten everything, even my name."

I gave her the ginseng tea to drink and the four of us went outside and talked.

"Should we tell her that she's Feng Mian's daughter or not?" Ah Jun asked.

"We won't say anything, she doesn't remember anything, it's better to avoid trouble. Many people are craving for her golden core and her spiritual power and besides, if she finds out that she's a phoenix, she will have nowhere to go because the stronghold of the Phoenix Clan has vanished, it can no longer be found on any map, she has nothing to go back to," Hua Que said.

"Hua Que is right, we'll just tell her when the time is right and when her life is no longer in danger," Ah Jun said."

"And when do you think they'll stop going after Feng Mian's daughter? She's the only Fire Phoenix left, there's no other, so when do you think they'll lose interest in Feng Mian's daughter? As long as Feng Ran is alive and her golden core is intact, her life is in danger," Chen Feng asked.

"Chen Feng is right, as long as her golden core is intact and she's alive, her life is in danger," Ah Jun replied.

"I'll just say this, or ask this... I hope all of you not interested in her golden core? Her spiritual power?.... I trust all of you," Hua Que reminded them.

"I have an idea to lessen our worries :)" Hua Que said with a smile.

"What is it?" Ah Jun asked.

"She doesn't remember anything, right? Why don't we give her a name that's under our care, what do you think?"

"Chen Yue?? Isn't it beautiful, she'll be under my care?" Chen Feng said happily, which immediately disappeared because of Ah Jun's hit on his head.

"You're too fierce, Chen Feng, and your father might not agree and most of all, Feng Mian's daughter might be afraid of your clan... why not just?? Ah Yin?"

"Ehh Eagles are fierce too and your father won't agree either, Eagles are too strict, especially your father," Chen Feng said irritably to Ah Jun.

"Stop it, Ah Jun and Chen Feng, I'll name her and she'll carry the surname of the Peacock Clan for now," she stopped the two from arguing and looked at Hua Shou.

"Hua Shou, aren't you going to make a sound?" I asked Hua Shou who, since we left the cave to talk, has been silent.

"Hurry up and talk, it's getting dark and besides, you're noisy, if it's just about the name, I'm going inside," Hua Shou replied to me, eyes closed, and went inside the cave.

"What's his problem? He's only talking sometimes and he's still angry?" Ah Jun asked in surprise.

"Just leave him alone... ahhh wait, what will you name her Hua Que?" Chen Feng asked.

"Hua Yin," I replied briefly and then went inside.

Feng Ran POV....

They've been talking for a long time outside, my Ginseng Tea is finished and i pour again ginseng tea in ny cup but they haven't come back yet. After a while, I felt someone coming in but walking slowly. My back is turned to the cave entrance so I can't see who's coming in... I'm nervous because it's getting closer and I'm afraid of ghosts. I was about to drink the ginseng tea when suddenly something on the side rang and I dropped the newly taken ginseng tea and it spilled on my chest where my wound was. I screamed in pain because it was newly taken from the container and it was still very hot. "OUCH AHWWWWW It hurts," I moaned.

Hua Shou POV...

I went inside the cave, I walked slowly because I was dizzy because I haven't eaten anything since this morning.I dropped my sword and when I was about to pick it up, I was surprised to hear someone scream and my dizziness disappeared. I heard Feng Ran scream and I quickly went to where she was and looked at her. I saw that the teacup was on the floor and Feng Ran's clothes were wet and I realized that the hot tea had spilled on her wound.

"Are you okay? Does it hurt? Was the spilled tea hot?"

"Would I scream if it wasn't hot? Why are you walking slowly around here? I thought it was a ghost and then something suddenly clattered, I got scared, I thought it was a ghost," she said, her face showing the pain because of the tea.

"I'll just call Hua Que to treat you, I can't treat you because the wound is on your chest and that's inappropriate."

"O-okay," she stuttered, When I turned away, I smiled.

"Hua Que, go see Feng-...." Before I could finish what I was saying, she covered my mouth and pulled me to the side. Then she said,

"Don't mention her name, she might hear it," she said while glancing inside the cave.

"Why?" I asked softly.

"Do you remember what we talked about earlier? We're going to change her name, right?" she asked me. I only answered with a nod.

"Hua Yin...."

"Hua Yin?"... I was surprised by what she said.

"Sigh... that's her name.... Hua Yin now."

"Won't our Mother be angry?"

"I already sent a letter to her, but I didn't say that the woman we rescued was Feng Mian's child," After I nodded, the Peacock Feather suddenly arrived.

Hua Que POV...

I took the Peacock Feather and listened to what my Mother said.

"Do whatever you want, just don't cause any trouble. Don't add to the problems of the Clans. You know we have problems we're facing because of the Crow Clan." when im done listening to my mother's word Hua Shou Immediately said...

"Something happened to the one you rescued," Hua Shou said briefly and quickly went back inside.

I also went inside, and as soon as I entered, I immediately approached Hua Yin and treated her.

"Miss, don't you really remember your name?" She only answered me with a shake of her head.

"By the way, the Crow Clans won't leave you alone until they prove that you are not Feng Mian's child, so I will give you a name that is under the care of the Peacock Clan, Hua Yin, and that's good so we have something to call you,"

"Thank you... by the way, what's your name?"

"Hua Que," I replied briefly.

"Oh, by the way, we'll take you to the town of Tang to the Peacock Feather Tower,"

"Peacock Feather Tower?"

"That's my home, that's where the Peacocks live, and in other words, that's the place where my Mother, or Queen Hua Cui, the queen of the Peacocks, is."

"Are you a princess?"

"Yes, she is a princess, and we are princes from our own clans," Ah Jun interjected.

"And who are you?" Hua Yin asked.

"I am Ah Jun, a prince from the Eagle Clan, son of King Ah Yun and Queen Ah Jing."

"And I am Chen Feng from the Wolf Clan, son of King Chen Mu and Queen Chen Xin."

Feng Ran/Hua Yin..... POV

After they introduced themselves to me, I looked at the man I was talking to earlier. The look that was waiting for him to introduce himself too. I just stared at him until Ah Jun suddenly laughed awkwardly.

"H-H-HAA HA HA he is Hua Shou, Hua Que's brother."

Ah Jun POV....

I saw Hua Yin turn her gaze to Hua Shou and was clearly waiting for him to introduce himself as well. I laughed awkwardly and then spoke.

"H-H-HAA HA HA he is Hua Shou, Hua Que's brother If you have any questions, ask anyone but him. He won't answer. His lips are sealed he only talks when he absolutely has to.," I said and then turned my gaze to Hua Que.

"H-H-HAHAH let's go, let's start our journey so we can get to the town of Tang quickly," Hua Que said and then helped Hua Yin to stand up.

Hua Que...

While we were walking through the forest towards the town to find a place to rest, we were alerted because the grass moved. I immediately signaled the three to surround the area. After my signal, they took their positions, and I put Hua Yin down by a tree so she wouldn't get hurt if it was dangerous.

"Stay here, you're not fully healed yet, you might get hurt if the enemy attacks," Hua Yin just nodded, and after she nodded, I stood up.

"Who's there!? Come out!?" I shouted and approached the rustling grass.

"P-p-please, d-don't h-hurt me," the person in the grass pleaded. When I looked, it was a woman, and judging by her clothes, she was from the Eagle Clan, and if I'm not mistaken, based on her attire, her rank is a servant.

"A woman from your clan, Ah Jun, and if I'm not mistaken, she's one of your servants," I said and looked towards Ah Jun.

"Quickly, lay her down here, and I'll treat her," I ordered them, and they immediately obeyed.

"Ah Xu???" Ah Jun said.

"Do you know her?" Chen Feng asked Ah Jun.

"She's mother's servant, she's mother's head servant," Ah Jun said.

"Head Servant? Then why is she here and injured?" Chen Feng asked again.

"Why are you asking me? Am I Ah Xu? Besides, we spent a month together searching in Tang Town," I said sarcastically.

"I'm just asking, you've already said so much," Chen Feng said.

"Stop arguing, we'll just ask her when she wakes up," I said and continued treating her.

After I treated the woman, I turned my gaze to Hua Yin by the tree. I saw her looking seriously at Hua Shou, so I looked at my brother as well. When I looked, there was nothing unusual, just Hua Shou with his arms crossed while holding his sword in his right hand, then he closed his eyes. The two approached me and spoke.

"It seems one of Hua Shou's admirers is Hua Yin," Ah Jun said while looking at the two.

"I think Hua Yin has feelings for Hua Shou, I'm sure of it," Chen Feng chimed in.

"Stop it, she's probably just wondering why Hua Shou is so different from us," I said, stopping their imaginations.

"Different how?" Ah Jun asked.

"He's quiet, he's like ice when you approach him, and if you ask him something, he won't answer, and what's worse, he'll turn his back on you or just nod. Unlike you, who talks non-stop, you're so noisy, I might tie your tongue," I said, turned my back, and walked towards Hua Yin.

"Come, Hua Yin, let's go over there near Ah Jun and Chen Feng so you can rest properly," I said and helped her stand up.

After a while, the woman we rescued woke up.

"O-ouch," she sat up, and when she opened her eyes, she immediately saw Ah Jun.

"P-prince Ah Jun?" she asked in surprise.

Ah Jun....

"What happened to you? Why are you injured and in the grass?" I asked.

She avoided my gaze and didn't speak.

"Ah Xu, speak up. I'm a prince, so you should obey me," I threatened.

"Prince Ah Jun, the Queen secretly ordered me to go to the Mor Zan Ocean," Ah Xu quickly replied.

"Mor Zan Ocean? What's that?" I asked Ah Xu.

She was about to speak, but Hua Shou interrupted her.

"The place where the Three-Headed Hydra is," Hua Shou interjected.

Hua Shou...

"Prince Ah Jun, the Queen secretly ordered me to go to the Mor Zan Ocean," Ah Xu quickly replied.

When Ah Xu mentioned it, I was surprised by what she said.

"Mor Zan Ocean? What's that?" Ah Jun asked.

"The place where the Three-Headed Hydra is," I interjected.

"Three-Headed Hydra? What's that?"

"A demon monster that eats souls, spirits, and people," I replied.

"A-ah X-xu, why are you going there?" Ah Jun asked.

"Once you enter the Mor Zan Ocean, you will never get out alive, not even your soul or spirit,"

"W-what k-kind of p-place is that?"

"Wait, I've never heard of that place. If it's that dangerous, why don't I know about it?" Chen Feng asked.

"The Mor Zan Sea is forbidden to be mentioned, and it's also forbidden to go there. Only the Queens and Kings of the Clans know about it," I answered him.

"Then why do you know about it?" Chen Feng asked.

"Every clan has libraries that only the Queen, King, Prince, and Princess can enter. All the important information from the past millennia or years until now is there, and you really won't know because you don't read books, you just rely on hearsay," Hua Que interjected.

"But wait, Ah Xu, why are you going there?" Ah Jun asked again.

Ah Xu didn't answer.

"Ah Xu, speak up,"

"F-fire Bead,"

"Fire Bead? The Phoenix's Fire Bead?" Ah Xu only nodded in response.

Ah Jun...

I was puzzled by what Ah Xu said.

"The Phoenix's Fire Bead, what are you going to do there?"

"The King.... the doctor said he only has a few months left, and the Queen suspects that the last Fire Bead released by the Ancient Fire Tree before the Phoenix's Stronghold disappeared is in the Mor Zan Ocean,"

"How could the Fire Bead end up in the Mor Zan? And why does Queen Ah Jing think that the last Fire Bead released by the Ancient Fire Tree is there?"

"Mor Zan is the place where Feng Rou's first son, Mor Zan, died," Hua Que answered.

"Queen Ah Jing and Queen Feng Mian have been close friends since they were young, and Queen Ah Jing remembered the letter that Queen Feng Mian sent to Queen Ah Jing on the day the Crow Clan attacked the Phoenix Clan, but what was written there was Mor Zan Sea Fire Bead, take care of it for my return, so Queen Ah Jing sent me to get the Fire Bead,"

"Do you think you can do it? You're just a servant, you have no chance," Ah Jun said.

"The truth is, I'm a cultivator from Mount Sinai. I'm one of Jian Qiang's disciples. I owe Queen Ah Jing a great debt, so I agreed to be a servant to watch over her,"

"The legendary Jiang Qiang, the first woman who was skilled in using a sword, a great fighter, and skilled in magic and talismans, she can defeat even more than one hundred enemies," Ah Jun said.

Hua Shou....

"Even if you are a cultivator disciple of Jiang Qiang, you still can't beat me," I said.

"You can't take the Fire Bead. The last letter said to keep it for my return, which means she is entrusting it to someone to keep it safe," I said again.

"Hua Shou is right," Chen Feng said.

"But wait, what's my father's illness?" Ah Jun asked, without interest or a trace of concern.

"Is there no other cure besides the Fire Bead of the Phoenix Clan?" Chen Feng asked.

"Only the Fire Bead can cure any disease," I said.

"What is his illness?" Ah Jun asked emotionlessly.

"It's impossible to determine what his illness is, but his face is unrecognizable due to the rashes and extreme redness," Ah Xu said.

"But the doctor said that only the Fire Bead can cure it."

Chen Feng.....

"How will you get the Fire Bead?" I asked Ah Xu.

"In any way possible," she said, standing up and preparing to continue her journey.

"You're not yet healed, your wounds haven't healed yet," Hua Que said worriedly.

"Wait a minute, I was caught up with the Fire Bead and Mor Zan Ocean and forgot to ask why you're injured," Ah Jun said.

"I don't know who attacked me in the forest. She was wearing a mask and she threw something into the air, a red powder, and that powder caused the temporary sealing of my spiritual power. Luckily, I was able to escape."

"But your spiritual power is still weak, you need to rest for three or five days," Hua Que said worriedly.

"Don't worry, it's nothing," Ah Xu replied calmly and smiled faintly.

"That won't do, you need to be healed, otherwise your condition will worsen," Hua Que said.

"I'm fine, I can manage," Ah Xu said again.

"But-" Before Hua Que could finish what she was saying, I interrupted.

"What? Are we going to stay here longer? If she doesn't want to come, don't force her. She's not the only one who's injured and needs to be healed. You know we also need to be healed, Hua Yin. If she doesn't want to, leave her alone," I said angrily.

Hua Que...

I was shocked by what he said and I had nothing to say until I couldn't contain myself and shouted at him.

"Chen Feng!!... How can you be so heartless? She's injured and needs help. Why are you angry?!"

"That's exactly it, she's injured and needs to be healed, but why is she being so stubborn? And besides, she's not our only priority, we have other important things to do."

"Why are you like this, Chen Feng? She needs help... Oh, right, you come from the Wolf Clan, a clan without hearts or mercy," I replied.

"Don't you dare involve my clan in this."

"Stop it, Hua Que, Chen Feng, this is not the time to argue," Ah Jun intervened.

"Why don't you stop that Hua Que, who comes from the Peacock Clan, who easily trusts someone she just met? You know, Hua Que, that's what will kill you because you easily trust a person. How can the person you saved be an enemy? You'd be dead by now," Chen Feng said.

"Why is it wrong to save someone? Isn't it your brain that's so narrow-minded or you just really don't want to help?" I said.

Hua Yin/Feng Ran...

While they were arguing, my gaze landed on Hua Shou, who was just closing his eyes and leaning against the tree, looking calm even though her sister and Chen Feng were arguing. He still didn't care even if they killed each other in front of him. He wouldn't even react. While I was looking at Hua Shou, I suddenly felt a pain in my chest and coughed up blood. They all noticed it, including Hua Shou, but he just opened his eyes. Hua Que and Ah Jun hurriedly walked towards me.

"Are you okay, Hua Yin?" Hua Que asked me while patting my back.

"I'm okay, just a little dizzy," I said.

"We need to treat him now. His condition is worsening and his fever is getting higher and our medicines are running out. Just one town away and we'll reach the town of Tang in Peacock Feather Tower," Ah Jun said.

"Go ahead, hurry up. Don't worry about me, I'm fine," Ah Xu said.

"Are you sure?" Hua Que asked to make sure.

She only answered with a nod, then thanked them and turned to leave in another direction.

"Let's go, Hua Yin," Hua Que said, helping me up and supporting me as I stood up and walked. After a while, Ah Jun also supported me on the other side. After a while, Ah Jun spoke softly and slowed down his pace.

"I think I like Hua Shou, right?" Ah Jun asked abruptly, which immediately surprised me.

"No," I replied.

"Then why were you staring at him earlier... you know, you don't have to hide it. All the girls who see Hua Shou fall for him," Ah Jun said.

"That's not the reason why I was staring at him," I replied calmly.

"Then what?" Hua Que asked.

"He looks like a statue or like a person without emotions. Even if someone gets killed, he has no reaction. Like what happened earlier when you and Chen Feng argued, it was like nothing to him. But Ah Jun was stopping you. It's only now that I've seen a person like him," I explained.

"That's how he really is since childhood. Only the three of us can tolerate his attitude," Hua Que said.

"Why?" I asked briefly, but they didn't answer. Suddenly, Ah Jun spoke.

"Chen Feng, Hua Shou, wait for us," Ah Jun said, starting to walk quickly.

A few hours passed and we arrived at the Peacock Feather Tower. As we entered, we were greeted by two attendants who bowed and said,

"Princess Hua Que, the Queen requests your presence in her room," the attendant said and stepped back and left. Hua Que also left.

"Hua Shou, you take care of Hua Yin," Hua Que said before leaving. The two of them also left.

"Hua Shou, they said you're in charge of her. We're just going to eat, goodbye," Ah Jun said teasingly and was hit by Chen Feng who said,

"Hurry up, don't tease him anymore," he said and pulled Ah Jun away.

After a while, I felt the tightness in my chest again and I felt a little dizzy until my knees weakened and I fell down and at the same time I fell, I coughed up blood until my eyelids slowly closed on their own. I just felt someone lift me up until I lost consciousness.

Hua Shou.....

The three of them left Hua Yin to me and when I turned around, I saw her lying on the floor, which I immediately went to.

"Hua Yin, are you okay? Can you hear me?" She didn't answer. I immediately picked her up and carried her to my room. I can't take her to another room because it's not yet cleaned.

"Lin Yue, get some lukewarm water and a towel and order the others to call a doctor and also get a change of clothes for Hua Yin," I said and they immediately obeyed.

Lin Yue...

I already ordered someone to call a doctor. If they can't find the doctor in the palace, they should look for another one in the town.

"Mei Lan, come with me, hurry, the Prince is in a hurry. Get a change of clothes for Miss Hua Yin and a towel as well. I'll take care of getting the lukewarm water," she immediately took what I ordered and approached me and started to speak.

"Lin Yue, who is Miss Hua Yin?" she asked me.

"Princess Hua Que, Prince Hua Shou, Ah Jun and Ah Xu brought her here. They probably met her while they were traveling," I replied.

"Then why is her surname Hua too and why is she in the Prince's room and it's rumored that the prince carried her to the room, is it true?" she asked again.

"How would I know? Do I look like someone who asks about what the princes and princesses do? But yes, he carried her," I said and then left.

"Let's go, we might get scolded," I said.

I handed the towel and placed the small basin on the table beside the bed.

"Here's the towel," I said and handed it to him and Mei Lan handed me the clothes.

"Change her clothes, it's too thin, it's cold now," he said and I ordered Mei Lan.

"Here it is," I said, handing it over.

"It's too thick, she'll sweat. Change it," he said calmly. I ordered Mei Lan again.

"Here it is," I said
