"Vultures circling."
Teri takes a drink, eyes on me as I manage to shake yet another girl off after asking me if I wanted to dance with her.
No, I don't want to dance with them. I didn't want to even talk with them because the person I want to do that with the most is nowhere to be seen.
"What has you in a sour mood?" Teri presses on my side, forcing the drink in his hand between my lips. I have no other choice but to swallow, instantly regretting it.
"Oh gods," I choke, coughing, and Teri, being a meanie, is laughing at me. "What's that, and why does it taste so bad?"
"Cheer up, will you? You are at a party, the best party in town, mind you, and here you are, sulking."
"I am not sulking."
He raises his eyebrows. "And now you are pouting."
I cross my arms on my chest, leaning on the wall. "I am just tired. It has been along week."
