Richard Confronts Victoria
Richard stormed into Victoria's private lounge, gripping the contract in his hand.
Victoria barely glanced up from her wine glass. "Richard, if you're going to barge in like that, at least have the decency to knock."
He slammed the document onto the table. "What is this?"
Victoria's expression remained calm, but he noticed the slight tension in her jaw.
Richard stepped closer. "I know what you did. You weren't just involved in shady dealings you orchestrated my wife's disappearance." His voice was low, dangerous. "Where is she, Victoria?"
Victoria sighed, swirling her wine. "Why bring up the past, darling?"
Richard slammed his fist against the table. "Because Hope deserves to know the truth! You've lied and manipulated for years, but this ends now."
Victoria finally set down her glass. "And what exactly do you plan to do, Richard? Expose me?" She smirked. "That would mean admitting that you were blind enough to let this happen under your own roof."
Richard clenched his fists. She was right. He had been blind too trusting, too willing to believe that Victoria wouldn't cross certain lines.
But not anymore.
"I'm taking Hope out of this house," he said. "And you? You're done."
Victoria's smirk widened. "Oh, Richard. You still think you have control?"
She leaned forward, eyes gleaming. "Hope is already in danger. And if you don't back off, you'll lose her too."
Richard's blood ran cold.
Victoria had already made her move.
Hope Faces a Life-Threatening Situation
Hope walked down the street, her mind racing with thoughts of her mother.
She had to find answers. She had to fight back.
But just as she reached the alley near her school, a black SUV pulled up beside her.
Before she could react, two men in dark suits stepped out.
One of them smirked. "Miss Calloway, we've been looking for you."
Hope's heart pounded. She turned to run,
Too late.
A hand clamped over her mouth, muffling her scream as they dragged her into the SUV.
She kicked, struggled, fought, but they were too strong.
The door slammed shut, and the car sped away.
Hope's breath came fast and shallow. She had walked straight into Victoria's trap.
But she wasn't going down without a fight.
She had come too far to be silenced now.
A Shocking Ally Emerges
The SUV raced through the streets. Hope's wrists were tied, her mind racing for an escape.
Then, suddenly,
BANG!
The car jerked violently as another vehicle rammed into it from the side.
The men inside cursed, trying to regain control.
Another hit.
Then the SUV spun out, screeching to a stop.
Before Hope could process what was happening, the door flew open.
A familiar figure grabbed her hand. "Come on!"
Hope's eyes widened.
Liam.
She didn't hesitate. She jumped out, running with him as shouts erupted behind them.
They sprinted down the street, Liam pulling her toward a waiting motorcycle.
"Get on!" he yelled.
Hope didn't ask questions she jumped onto the bike just as the kidnappers recovered.
Liam gunned the engine, and they sped off into the night.
Hope's heart pounded. "How did you know?"
Liam glanced at her, his expression deadly serious. "Because I know what Victoria is capable of."
Hope's breath hitched. "You knew?"
Liam clenched his jaw. "There's a lot I haven't told you, Hope."
Hope's stomach tightened. She had escaped.
But now, she had even more questions than before.
