Hope and Liam Strike First
Hope sat across from Liam in his private office, the glow of his desk lamp illuminating the determined look in her eyes. The folder of evidence sat between them, but tonight wasn't just about defending herself it was about taking control.
Liam leaned forward. "Are you sure about this? Once we go down this path, there's no turning back."
Hope met his gaze with unwavering confidence. "Victoria and Nathan have been trying to erase me from this family. I won't let them."
Liam smirked. "Then let's make them regret ever trying."
He pulled up a presentation on his laptop. "This is the plan: we're going to expose the truth to the Sinclair board, but not just as a defense. We're going to frame it as a business risk. If the board sees Victoria and Nathan as liabilities, they'll turn against them."
Hope nodded, her mind racing. "And how do we do that?"
Liam clicked to the next slide. "We hit them where it hurts their credibility."
Victoria's Press Strategy Backfires
Across town, Victoria sat in a sleek black car outside a media house, her lips curled into a knowing smile.
"The article will go live at midnight," the journalist beside her confirmed. "By morning, everyone will question Hope's place in the Sinclair family."
Victoria exhaled in satisfaction. "Good. Make sure it gets traction."
She stepped out of the car, feeling victorious. What she didn't know was that Hope and Liam had already anticipated her move.
At 12:05 a.m., instead of just one article making headlines, two stories went viral.
The first was the smear campaign against Hope. The second? An exposé on Victoria's secret financial dealings.
By sunrise, Victoria was no longer the one controlling the narrative.
Richard is Forced to Choose a Side
Richard paced his study, his hands resting on his hips. His phone buzzed with news alerts, and his email inbox was flooded with board members demanding answers.
"Damn it," he muttered. He had ignored the growing tension for too long, hoping it would resolve itself. But now, the conflict between Hope and Victoria was out in the open, and the company was at stake.
A knock at the door interrupted his thoughts.
Hope stepped in, holding her ground. "Richard, we need to talk."
He turned to face her, exhaustion in his eyes. "You have no idea what kind of damage this has done to the family."
Hope didn't waver. "No, Richard. Victoria did this. I just refused to let her destroy me."
He sighed. "And now the media is tearing us apart."
Hope took a step closer. "You have a choice. You can keep protecting Victoria, or you can stand with the person who actually cares about this family."
Silence stretched between them.
For the first time, Richard wasn't sure who he should be defending.
Nathan's Desperation
Nathan slammed his fist against the desk. "This wasn't supposed to happen!"
He turned to Victoria, who was unusually calm despite the chaos.
She sipped her wine. "You always underestimate Hope."
Nathan glared. "And you always assume she's weak. Look where that got us."
Victoria's lips curled into a dangerous smirk. "Then it's time we remind her why we're in charge."
She pulled out a document and slid it across the table.
Nathan frowned. "What is this?"
Victoria's smile widened. "A new plan. One that guarantees Hope will never inherit anything."
Nathan scanned the paper, his expression darkening. Then he smirked. "Let's see if she's ready for this."
