Episode 4: Consequences & Closure

*The Holding Cell*

Rohit sat in a small, dimly lit police holding cell, arms crossed,

waiting. The metal bench was cold, the walls reeked of sweat and

regret—though he felt none of it.

He had no illusions. He was caught red-handed, on CCTV, with no lawyer

and no backup plan except Siya.

But he wasn't nervous. If anything, he felt… satisfied.

A few hours later, Ananya showed up.

She stood outside the bars, arms folded, looking down at him with a

mixture of anger and disappointment.

"You're acting pathetic, Rohit," she said.

He raised an eyebrow. "I was thinking the same about you when you

dumped me for someone richer."

She exhaled sharply. "I never thought you'd be this petty. Do you

think wrecking my things and humiliating Aarav will change anything?"

Rohit smirked. "No. But it felt great."

Ananya clenched her fists. "I used to respect you, Rohit."

He shrugged. "I used to love you. Guess we both lost something."

For a moment, she hesitated, as if searching for something to say. But

in the end, she simply shook her head and walked away.

Rohit sighed, leaning back against the cold wall. That was closure.

*Siya Makes Her Move*

A few hours later, Siya arrived—dressed in an elegant dark coat,

looking completely out of place in the dingy police station.

She didn't bother greeting him. Instead, she walked straight to the

inspector, flashed her ID, and with a single phone call, the entire

station suddenly became… cooperative.

Within minutes, Rohit was released without charges.

As they stepped outside into the morning sun, Rohit stretched and

yawned. "Took you long enough."

Siya smirked. "I was enjoying my sleep. Besides, you needed to have

that little 'talk' with your ex."

He chuckled. "You're evil."

She shrugged. "And you're reckless. We make a good team."

*Paying the Price*

Of course, things weren't that simple. They had done a lot of damage,

and someone had to pay for it.

Siya and Rohit both agreed to chip in for the damages—50-50.

"I hope you realize I don't make CEO money," Rohit said.

Siya smirked. "Consider it an investment in our revenge fund."

*A Coffee Invitation*

As they walked towards her car, Siya suddenly turned to him.

"Coffee?"

Rohit raised an eyebrow. "Are you asking me out, Ms. Khanna?"

"Don't flatter yourself," she scoffed. "I just feel like we should

celebrate our successful crime before we go back to our boring lives."

Rohit smirked. "Fine. But I'm picking the place."

They drove off together, both knowing that something had changed

between them—but neither willing to say it yet.
