Episode 12: Uncharted Roads

*A Call from the Past*

A few days after the wedding, Rohit was enjoying his new routine-work,

gym, late-night rides, and no unnecessary drama.

Until his phone rang.

Unknown Number.

He almost ignored it, but something made him pick up.

"Rohit. It's me."

Arjun.

A close friend from his old office-one of the few who genuinely

respected him.

*An Offer He Didn't Expect*

"Listen, man," Arjun said, "I know you quit, but there's something you

should hear."

Rohit leaned against his bike, curious. "Go on."

"There's a company expanding into India-a tech firm from Europe.

They're looking for someone with experience, and I thought of you."

Rohit frowned. "Tech? I was working in finance."

"They don't care. They want someone sharp, adaptable, and not tied to

corporate politics."

Rohit smirked. "Sounds too good to be true."

Arjun chuckled. "You'll never know if you don't check it out."

*Siya's Perspective*

Later that night, Rohit met Siya again.

"So, let me get this straight," she said, sipping her wine. "A

high-paying job with no corporate drama? That's rare."

Rohit nodded. "I know. That's why I don't trust it."

Siya smirked. "Or maybe you're just scared of starting over."

Rohit raised an eyebrow. "Scared? Of what?"

She leaned forward. "Of committing to something again. Whether it's

work, relationships, or even trusting people."

He exhaled. She wasn't wrong.

Siya tilted her head. "Why not take the risk? Worst case, you walk

away. Best case, you build something better."

Rohit stared at his glass. "I'll think about it."

*A Familiar Face at the Meeting*

A few days later, Rohit decided to attend the interview.

As he entered the boardroom, his confidence unshaken, he noticed the

senior hiring manager.

And his smirk vanished.

It was Siya.

She grinned. "Surprise."

He sighed. "You could've just told me."

She shrugged. "Where's the fun in that?"

He shook his head but smiled. "So, you're involved in this too?"

Siya nodded. "I recommended you."

Rohit chuckled. "You're persistent."

She smirked. "You'll thank me later."

*The Decision*

After the meeting, Rohit sat on his Duke 1390, staring at the city

lights.

A new job. A fresh start. A challenge.

Maybe it was time to stop wandering and build something real. With a deep breath, he texted Arjun-

"I'm in."

As he revved his bike, a sense of excitement filled him.

This wasn't about proving anything to anyone anymore.

This was his journey now.
