"Phew!"
Luke exhaled, relaxing his body and enjoying the feeling of satisfaction that invaded his entire body. He had been meditating for several hours and his spiritual power had grown quite a bit, every time he made a small advance and more universal power accumulated in his body, a pleasure invaded him. Spiritual cultivation is like that, an enormous pleasure that must be controlled during daily practice, and an enormous pain every time you want to advance from one great level to another. A person without sufficient mental strength can succumb to the pleasures of spiritual cultivation and end up with a collapsed soul in an instant, it is a fairly common situation among novice practitioners of the first levels.
As for the cultivation levels, they are as follows:
Level 1: From 1 to 9 spiritual points.
Level 2: From 10 to 90
Level 3: From 100 to 900
And so on with the subsequent levels.
"Status" Luke uttered in his mind. And a screen appeared in front of his eyes

"I have progressed quite quickly, it is clear that the predisposition to cultivate of this body is very good. With the current talent of this body and a cultivation technique that is tailor-made, I will be able to reach the same level as in my previous life much faster, perhaps by thirty."
In his previous life, Luke had cultivated to level 5 despite having a body with very poor aptitude. The system had given him a tailor-made spiritual cultivation technique as a reward for a mission. If he could obtain a tailor-made technique again, his progress would be very fast. At the moment, however, he could only settle for a high-quality neutral technique.
Neutral techniques are those that can be practiced by anyone regardless of their characteristics, and they are usually weaker and inefficient than specific techniques. Large sects usually have a specific technique for people with certain characteristics, and they usually recruit individuals with said characteristics to cultivate them and form the core of their organization.
Luke began to practice a couple of movement techniques that he used in his previous life, his body was still too weak to enter into combat and it was better to concentrate on escaping in the face of danger.
While he was practicing his escape techniques, a sound of footsteps was heard in the hallway. A group of Lunaris came straight to his cell and opened the door. The beautiful Lunari who had captured him was leading the group.
"I see you are in good shape, I expected to find you in a corner crying" said Lanti, the beautiful Lunari
Luke raised his eyebrows and answered to protect his pride.
"I am not that weak, no matter what happens, even if the world falls apart I will always keep my head up"
And he raised his forehead as if to illustrate his point.
"I was told that you had a nervous breakdown and began to have hallucinations in which you were attacked by a non-existent cellmate" Lanti answered with certainty
Luke lowered his head again. Maybe he couldn't protect his pride after all. He didn't plan to explain the situation to the old man.
Seeing that Luke remained silent, Lanti took some chains that she had with her and approached him.
"It's time for your trial, depending on the result we will decide what we will do with you. Raise your hands, I will put these Noral chains on you, just in case."
Noral, the mineral capable of restricting both spiritual cultivation and magic, and which also induces bodily weakness. It is basically a seal for any kind of superpower.
Lanti placed the chains on him and then led him through the dark hallway, in the distance a large stone door guarded by several guards could be seen, with torches burning on both sides, providing some illumination to the dark prison.
They went through the door and emerged to the surface. The prison was underground, and now, after several hours, Luke saw the gray sky again. This would be a good time to escape, but it was simply impossible, even if he didn't have the Noral chains around him.
Luke was led to a building not far from the prison. Before arriving they crossed a square where several curious Lunaris watched him from afar. In their eyes Luke could sense curiosity, but also fear.
The humans and the Lunaris had signed a peace treaty. Included in the treaty was a clause that specified that humans were not allowed to enter the sacred forest where most of the Lunaris resided. So it was possible that all of these people who were now observing him had never seen a human before, and if they had seen one it would have been worse, since the only humans who entered the forest never did so with good intentions. Most of the time they were slavers looking to make a fortune by capturing some unsuspecting Lunaris. The prisoners that populated the underground prison he had been in until just a moment ago were probably slavers, their clothes gave away that they were mercenaries, and there weren't many other activities that mercenaries carried out in this area.
Entering the building, he looked around trying to memorize every detail. A large number of Lunaris were present. Most of them were dressed as warriors, but there were also a few others dressed in white robes that had the symbol of a moon. Priests.
In the center of the room where he was taken, there was a stake where he was tied on his knees. And in front of him a dais with six seats stood imposingly. Five Lunaris were sitting, watching the proceedings solemnly. The center seat was empty.
"Now we will begin the trial" said one of the Lunaris sitting on the dais, indifferently.
"Very well, human. You have been found wandering in the sacred forest, normally for this crime alone you should be sentenced to hard labor. However, depending on the reasons, your sentence can be worse or better. So, if you have something to say in your defense, this will be the only chance you will have to do so."
"Speak, human, what were you doing in our territory?"
Luke organized his thoughts before answering. If he said he had amnesia, no one would believe him, and he would end up in a disastrous situation. The only hope of getting out was to offer a good reason, a good lie. "All or nothing" He thought, and decided to start lying without blinking, as he usually did.
"To tell the truth, I came looking for refuge"
When these words left his mouth, both the Lunaris on the dais and the others present were shocked. A human seeking refuge in the sacred forest? Wouldn't he be seeking death in that case?
"My parents were nobles in a kingdom near the forest, but other nobles conspired against them to annex our territory. My family was massacred by the conspiring nobles, and I managed to escape with the help of my loyal servants. However, the nobles knew that they couldn't leave me alive if they wanted to legitimately possess the territory, so they started a manhunt to find me. Being almost cornered, I managed to escape to the sacred forest looking for help! And it was then that the group of watchmen found me"
Luke exposed his lie methodically, step by step. Keeping his gaze sincere and firm.
A murmur filled the room. The five Lunaris on the dais showed varied expressions, although the predominant ones were confusion and surprise.
One of the Lunaris, the same one who had spoken at the beginning and who seemed to be the leader of the group, frowned and said
"What makes you think you could get help from us? What, don't you know that there is a non-interference treaty between humans and Lunaris?"
Luke continued to observe the Lunaris without fear, and played his best card, whether he could save himself or not, would be decided in the next moment.
"I knew I could get help from the Lunaris… Because I am also a Lunari! I come to seek refuge with my family!"
All the Lunaris present looked with disbelief at the young man with blue eyes, who with a firm and sincere gaze threw a bomb without warning.
"Boom!!!"
The door to the room opened, interrupting the silence like a sudden clap of thunder in the midst of calm. Two figures slowly entered. One of them, a beautiful priestess who seemed to have come out of a dream, her enormous breasts threatened to tear the fabric of her clothes as she walked, and her shy gaze was focused on the figure who was on his knees and chained.
The other figure was even more exaggerated! When Luke laid eyes on her, the system immediately reacted
