Grief:

It's been 7 years since Ryuusei ran away from the temple. Now he has become a grown young man. He now goes to school. Works a part time job for himself. He now lives a normal life , all thanks to his grandma. Everything in his life was simple but in a world where abilities exists, there things aren't meant to be normal.

It was night time. Ryuusei is holding a basket of fruits. He walks in the hospital and goes to the patient room, where his grandma was admitted. She was sleeping in the bed. Without making any noises ryuusei sits on the chair next to the bed. He it's the basket down in the table, then took one apple and started peeling it with a knife.

Grandma: your back here again, you don't have to come everyday.

Ryuusei: I thought you were sleeping...

Grandma: I was, until you started making noises...

Ryuusei : ........

Grandma : did you go to school today?

Ryuusei: .... Yeah...

Grandma: And work?

Ryuusei:....I did ....

Grandma: and you went to factory last night, right?

Ryuusei:.....No! Who told you that?

Grandma: you think I wouldn't know that...

Ryuusei:....

Grandma: you have to take care of yourself... I'm not gonna be around always. Then who will make sure that you're ok, huh??

Ryuusei: you're really dramatic, you know that..... Well, I'm gonna go now , if something happens, tell me, alright??

Grandma: yes but don't go the factory, okay?

Ryuusei:... Yeah, yeah

Ryuusei got up and goes outside the room closing the door behind.

He got out of the hospital and went to the opposite side of where he came from. He was going to the factory place. Factory was a abandoned place a little far from the house. Ryuusei found this place many years ago. He then started training there on his own from that day. In school to there even was a coach for training but Ryuusei never take a part. He liked to do things on his own. From the day he found the factory, he never took a day off from training. The place where is working is a Coffee shop. Grandma used to work there, then she also made ryuusei work there more than a year ago. But few months ago she got sick. The sickness was probably from her old age. Then month later she was admitted to the hospital to stabilize her health. Ryuusei knew that her moment can come any time. So he visited her everyday to make sure she is okay.

Ryuusei is a gloomy guy. The expression on his face was like a tired person. In school or in work when someone tries to approach him, he just doesn't reply. He didn't care about making new friends and wasn't even interested in it. Because of it he didn't had any friends. Every time someone approaches him, it reminds him of his childhood friends that he wanted to forget. Because of training all night, he didn't used to get full sleep, so usually used to sleep at school. He was more like a lazy person in the eye of other students.

Many days passed , he visited grandma everyday, but her health was getting worse day by day. And one day ryuusei was in work and got a call from the hospital. Without even them telling him he knew why they called him. It was like everyday he was waiting for it. He rushed to hospital and See's the coffin. The members of the hospital asked him , if he wanted to see the body but he refused. He just sat down next to it without saying anything.

The next day it was the funeral ceremony, there weren't many people, no relatives of her and no siblings, no one, just few neighbors and Ryuusei himself. When they buried her body and everyone left, leaving ryuusei alone, he sat down next to the grave and just keep sitting there without saying anything. It was first the first time that ryuusei didn't cry for losing someone he loved and to him she was like a real family. She never made ryuusei think that he is with a stranger.

Ryuusei: What do I do now?....

Should I stop going to school?...but she would be made if I don't , right?....I mean I work so it's not like a I need to go to school.... But... I have only one year left in the high school..... I can make it till then, I guess...

Ryuusei was thinking to himself, he was distracting himself from feeling that the person he cared the most about is not with him now, but he couldn't.

Ryuusei: Why do you have to leave me too, grandma?... What will I do without you?.... am I still not strong enough to protect anyone?...

Ryuusei said and few tears starts coming out of his eyes. This moment was the like the same , he felt all those years ago. He got up and look at the funeral one last time and walks away while cleaning his face.
