Chapter 39: Supreme Iron Man  

Yang Tao suddenly remembered what Tony had said about the Ancient One. "Tony, what did the Ancient One want from you?" 

"Now I get it. She wanted me to become the next Sorcerer Supreme. She said she could no longer see the future, and I had become the center of the chaos. She wanted me to protect Earth and gave me a few days to think about whether I wanted to train under her." 

Yang Tao thought about Tony's words and started to understand. Ever since Tony joined the chat group, his fate had changed. And now, the Time Stone could no longer predict what would happen to him. 

"What do you plan to tell the Ancient One? Honestly, I'd love to see you become Supreme Iron Man. Your strength would increase dramatically, and you'd have a much better grasp on the future." 

"Alright, when Ancient One comes to me again, I'll agree to her request. But I'm not giving up my armor. I'll finish making the nano suit as soon as possible." Tony had made up his mind to become the Supreme Iron Man. 

Everyone was happily chatting about what had just happened, sharing their own stories. 

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, three days had passed. 

All good things must come to an end, and now it was time for everyone to go their separate ways. 

Zhang Wenjing looked at everyone with reluctance. "Even though we can still chat in the group, I still don't want to say goodbye!" 

"Sister Jing, everyone has things to do. Once we're done, we'll meet up again. I want to stay with you all, but I also need to find a way to bring my parents back to life," said Naruto, who had been completely fooled by Zhang Wenjing's strange way of counting her past and present life ages. 

"How about staying for a few more days?" Yang Tao asked. 

Zhang Wenjing sighed and answered, "Forget it. I should go back. I've been out for three days already. I told my family I was visiting a classmate, and I have no idea what will happen when I get home. I don't want my parents in this life to worry." 

"Alright then, see you! Bye-bye!" She turned and stepped into the portal. 

One by one, the others said their goodbyes and stepped into their portals as well. 

Yang Tao looked around at his now-empty world, feeling a bit out of place. 

He went back inside his house and lay down on his bed. 

"Sigh… I wonder how my parents are doing?" A wave of loneliness washed over him as he thought about his parents on Earth. 

He hugged the Oddish in his arms, trying not to think about them too much. He was afraid he wouldn't be able to handle it. 

"I'll rest for the night. Tomorrow, I'll go check out Li Yunlong's world and see if I can help with anything!" During the gathering, he had already discussed with Li Yunlong about setting up a supply base. 

Tony was also preparing some machines—not the top-tier ones, just regular civilian-grade equipment. Even that would be considered cutting-edge tech in Li Yunlong's world. 

Yang Tao had always wanted to help Li Yunlong, but before this, he had neither the ability nor the means. Giving money was an option, but in that era, even if he handed over a mountain of gold, there was nowhere to spend it. 

Now the time was right. The group chat had unlocked the ability to travel between worlds, so he could finally go to Li Yunlong's world and help build some basic infrastructure and a small arms factory. 

"I'll get all the materials ready so I can start working right away. It's a shame that no one else can place objects in my world. Only I can do it, otherwise, things would be so much easier!" 

 Yang Tao had tested it before—no one else could place any equipment in other worlds, not even the most basic crafting table or furnace. Only he could set them up, though he had no idea why.
