Feeling frustrated, Yang Tao quietly stored the tablet and set off on his journey to find the Holy Grail.
But the drop rate was ridiculously low.
He had been searching chests and battling Pokémon every day, but he hadn't even seen the structure that held the Holy Grail.
"I'll just keep looking."
Since the Holy Grail only spawned in desert biomes, Yang Tao focused all his searches there.
But his luck was terrible!
No matter how hard he looked, he just couldn't find the Holy Grail altar.
Yang Tao returned home, his face dark with frustration.
Even though he wasn't physically tired, the frustration of not finding what he needed had drained him mentally.
"Sigh..."
Outside, it started to rain.
Yang Tao walked to the window, pulled up a sofa, and just sat there quietly watching the rain.
Somehow, he felt at peace.
The frustration of searching for the Holy Grail faded away.
"I've been busy all the time—I should really take a break."
Thinking back to his time in this world, it felt like he had been running around nonstop without ever truly resting.
Yang Tao quickly traveled to the Nether and found Zabuza.
Zabuza was still hacking away at Blazes, completely focused, undisturbed by anything around him.
"Zabuza, take a break! No need to keep slashing!" Yang Tao felt like he was working Zabuza as hard as a ruthless boss.
They had been hunting Blazes all day, and now the chests were overflowing with Blaze Rods, along with a few Wither Skeleton Skulls.
Zabuza really lived up to being a ninja—his ability to endure mindless grinding impressed Yang Tao.
What Yang Tao didn't know was that Zabuza's obedience came from deep gratitude.
It wasn't because Yang Tao was powerful, but because he had changed the fate of both him and Haku, saving their lives.
On top of that, Yang Tao had promised to fulfill two of Zabuza's wishes. One was already done, and the other—taking down the Fourth Mizukage to end the Bloody Mist era—was just a quick trip for Yang Tao.
For the first time, Zabuza had real hope.
That's why he respected Yang Tao so much and followed his orders without question.
Besides, none of the tasks were actually difficult. Compared to his days as a rogue ninja, this was a way better life.
"What's wrong, boss?" Zabuza looked at Yang Tao in confusion when he told him to rest.
"You need to balance work and rest. No need to overdo it. These Blaze Rods will last a long, long time. Come on, let's take a break."
Yang Tao took Zabuza back to the nether and called Haku to join them. The three of them headed to Yang Tao's house.
Yang Tao pulled out a deck of cards and placed them on the table.
He had asked Tony to buy them for him in the chat group when he went to find Zabuza.
"Alright, Zabuza, Haku, do you guys know how to play cards? Ever played Dou Dizhu?"
Zabuza looked at the deck in Yang Tao's hands.
"Cards? I know some card games, but I've never played Dou Dizhu."
"Never played? No problem, I'll teach you!"
Yang Tao explained the rules and how to play. Before long, both of them got the hang of it.
The house soon filled with the sounds of their game.
"Calling landlord!"
"Pass!"
"Pass!"
While Yang Tao and the others were caught up in their card game, the third round of the Chunin Exams was about to begin.
Naruto stood next to Hinata, giving her advice.
"Hinata, if you can't win, just surrender. It's fine, I'll get revenge for you!"
He was worried she might end up seriously injured like in the original timeline. He even considered taking preemptive action against Neji.
Hinata had a gentle personality but was strong-willed deep down. Knowing this, Naruto wasn't reassured and added, "But if you don't want to give up, that's fine too. Don't forget about the Growlithe I gave you! Summoning creatures are part of your strength too!"
This time, Hinata obediently nodded.
Back in the Forest of Death, she hadn't dared to let Growlithe fight, afraid it would get hurt. After all, it was a gift from Naruto.
Besides, Growlithe looked way too harmless—just a small, adorable puppy. Hinata had no idea what kind of power it really had.
