A former heiress turned artist, and a high school teacher. People with no reason to meet, but somehow they do.

Sick and tired of being set up on awful blind dates. Eve and Eric decide to get into a fake relationship to fool their loved ones.

But pretty soon, what was supposed to be a convenient lie becomes more complicated. The two of them begin developing feelings for one another. But neither is aware that the feelings are mutual.

To make things even worse, their toxic exes come back into their lives, and try to get back together with them.
