Selena is introduced to Major, a Marked demigod who possesses the power of his patron god, dedicated to protecting Olympus, with an annoying god complex(no pun intended). Selena is pulled into Major's world when her parents disappear and another not-so-mythical monster hunts her down.  But why would monsters be interested in ordinary mortals like the King family?

Selena must uncover the dangerous secrets hidden within her family's lineage, secrets that may pose a greater threat than any enemy they face.

I first came up with the idea of Marked when I was 10. Originally, it was a complete Percy Jackson rip-off, but eventually turned into its own unique idea.
