System Notification—
[Divine Authority Activated: Presence of the Supreme]
(Passive Effect: Enhances the majesty of the user's existence when interacting with divine beings.)
Zar read the notification and translated it in his mind:
("So it's basically a passive flex.")
Suppressing the urge to chuckle, he let his voice carry through the divine hall.
---
A Single Word That Shook the Divine
The divine beings felt an indescribable weight settle upon them—not of force, but of undeniable authority.
"Rise."
As one, the gods stood, their movements synchronized in reverence. None dared question why they obeyed. Their very essence recognized the supreme force before them.
"Introduce yourselves."
The divine hall became filled with voices—not of mortals, but of beings who governed existence itself.
One by one, the six main gods stepped forward, their introductions not mere pleasantries, but proclamations of dominion.
---
Aetherion, God of Time and Space
Aetherion was the first to move, his form flickering between moments, existing in past, present, and future all at once.
"I am Aetherion, sovereign of time and space. My will shapes the flow of existence, and my gaze spans the infinite corridors of reality. Under me stand the gods of chronomancy, celestial navigation, dimensional rifts, and fate-bound records."
Behind him, the lesser gods of time and space bowed in synchronized precision.
---
Ignis, God of the Primal Elements
Aetherion's introduction was followed by Ignis, a being wreathed in golden flames that did not consume but birthed creation itself.
"I am Ignis, the architect of elements across the multiverse. I command the flames of destruction and the primordial forces of birth. The gods of fire, ice, metal, ether, gravity, and storm answer to me."
Behind him, beings sculpted from fire, ice, molten rock, and condensed plasma stood in disciplined formation.
---
Eterna, Goddess of Life and Death
Eterna stepped forward, an ethereal glow surrounding her. Her left eye shone with the warmth of endless vitality, while her right carried the deep abyss of inevitable demise.
"I am Eterna, guardian of life and death. I hold dominion over the eternal cycle—where existence begins and where it must end. The gods of rebirth, the afterlife, healing, and decay serve under my guidance."
Behind her, luminous beings of life and shadowed specters of death stood side by side—contradiction, yet unity.
Her gaze met Zar's, and in that moment, she understood.
This being before them… was untouched by her domain. He was neither bound by life nor subject to death.
Zar saw the flicker of realization in her expression. A silent nod passed between them.
She knew.
---
Noctis, God of Darkness and Light
Noctis was a figure of contradictions—half of his form radiated pure celestial light, the other was veiled in the deepest abyss.
"I am Noctis, the convergence of darkness and light. Opposing forces exist in harmony through my will. The gods of dawn, dusk, shadows, and illumination serve beneath me."
Zar's eyes briefly glowed as he analyzed Noctis.
He was not merely a god of two forces—he was balance itself.
---
Zephiron, God of Storms and Winds
A tempest raged as Zephiron stepped forward, his very presence stirring the winds of the divine hall.
"I am Zephiron, the sovereign of storms and sky. My will dictates the movement of winds, and my breath shapes the very clouds that carry fate. The gods of hurricanes, zephyrs, lightning, and cyclones are mine to command."
The storm behind him rumbled in acknowledgment.
---
Vaelora, Goddess of Faith and Fate
Lastly, a tall, graceful figure stepped forward. Unlike the others, she carried no overwhelming force. Yet, her presence was undeniable.
"I am Vaelora, the keeper of faith and the weaver of fate. My words shape the beliefs of mortals, and my will guides destiny. The gods of devotion, prophecy, karma, and divine order walk under my light."
She did not exude raw power like Ignis, nor the overwhelming presence of Aetherion. But Zar could tell—she held an influence far beyond mere strength.
The belief of all beings, the very foundation of gods themselves, was tied to her existence.
Zar met her gaze. And she bowed.
---
Within the depths of their minds, a telepathic discussion unfolded.
Aetherion: "Time distorts in his presence. He exists outside its grasp. That alone proves what we have suspected."
Ignis: "The very elements of creation do not reject him. No being should hold such authority over them unless they are…"
Eterna: "…Above the cycle itself. He does not belong to life, nor does he belong to death. He is… something greater."
Noctis: "Darkness does not claim him, nor does light. He is not 'between' them. He is beyond them."
Zephiron: "My storms falter in his presence. Not in fear, but in reverence."
Vaelora: "Faith itself bends to him. I can feel it. The very nature of belief shifts in his presence… because he is the one who dictates what is worthy of faith."
Aetherion's voice was steady.
"Then there is no doubt."
Ignis exhaled.
"None. We are standing before the Supreme One."
---
As the divine realization settled, Zar's gaze drifted beyond them—toward the vast assembly of divine beings gathered in the hall.
A grand celebration.
Celestial banners embroidered with divine runes. Tables filled with offerings of divine nectar and ambrosia. Choirs of celestial beings preparing to sing hymns of his arrival.
Zar raised an eyebrow. "A welcoming feast?"
Aetherion gave a small, knowing smile. "It is only natural. This is the first time you have chosen to reveal yourself to us."
Eterna's voice was filled with warmth. "The realms have long awaited your presence, Supreme One. Your return is an occasion that will be sung through eternity."
Noctis let out a light chuckle. "Return? You make it sound as though he ever left. We simply failed to recognize that he was always present."
Vaelora, the Goddess of Faith, stepped forward, placing a hand over her chest in reverence. "Belief itself shifts when one worthy of worship steps into the light. There was no need for proof—our very souls already knew who he was."
Zar glanced at the divine beings surrounding him.
No hesitation. No doubt.
Only recognition.
A smirk played on his lips.
This was going to be very interesting.
