We rammed the gate, we didn't slow down much. And how the man yelled when we kept going at him! He jumped back at the end, though, because I guess the social package doesn't include everything. After taking off our masks, which I was told were bulletproof, we got out of the armoured car.

-Okay, boys, let's get started. - With the command, Arclight launched into the attack.

After the command, everyone went wild, our leader's fists lit up. And after I saw what became of the part of the wall, where she hit them, I even somehow sympathised with Puma, beginning to understand how he "calmed down". Time to get to work. And seeing how Arclight doesn't trifle and demolishes the building little by little, while in the neighbouring one you can hear screams and blood streaks on the windows every ten seconds, I decide to take on the farther building. And since I'm fighting against terrorists, I thought it would be a good idea to teach them to respect democracy. I've got the right music for the situation. Tuning the range of the telepathic radio, I burst into the building to "Team America - America, Fuck Yeah!". You should have seen the look on their faces when the song started playing in their heads - it's unparalleled. There was already a mini squad of four security guards on the ground floor, on whom I unleashed my patriotism, although I felt weird killing an African-American to the lines "Slavery, OH YES!". Well, I guess that's it. It's sorted out here. There were several prototypes of new bombs in the building, which I decided to put to good use. And just as the song was starting up again, a couple of jeeps pulled up to the building and a couple of dozen people got out.

And to the lines "Terrorists, Playtime is over, it's time to take responsibility for your actions" I throw them bombs with a 3 second timer. After the explosion went off, I saw that I had thinned them out by at least half and there were already twenty people entering the building. They seemed to be scattered around the floors in groups, as if they'd never seen a horror film before. I took out the first one with a bullet to the head, the second one had managed to hide behind a desk and didn't seem to be coming out, so I had to deliver the lead on my own, and even though I knew who we were going after, I didn't expect such individuals to help me. As I got close and was about to fire, I noticed a strange smile and out of the corner of my eye I saw him press his belt. I was then thrown back into the wall, and his two friends who had tried to enter at that point were blown to pieces. My body armour was almost completely torn apart, and my right arm was burned pretty badly, I found my weapon in several places at once: the barrel was sticking in the wall, the stock was somewhere in the ceiling, and I don't even know where the rest went.

At this point I realised that if I didn't put my best foot forward, my death would be pretty quick. I was glad that I hadn't brought grenades when I was in full uniform, and how Gambit had persuaded me, describing that if he loaded them, they would be three times more powerful within an hour. My intuition told me that was a bad idea. Finishing the transformation and not knowing where to put the mask, I decided to hang it from the back of my head. Feeling my hand start to tingle a little, I was surprised, as my regeneration shouldn't work that fast, but since it was to my advantage, I decided to think about it later. Got to finish off the rest of the Shahid first. I'd been walking around for a minute looking for enemies, and finally I heard footsteps in the corridor, so I jumped out and ran at them. What was weird was that the uniforms of two of them were different: they had blue lines along the vertical of their uniforms. Is this some kind of elite force? They didn't really expect to see me alive after that explosion, but when they saw my uniform, they were stunned for a few seconds. How could I accuse them of being unprofessional? I would have shit myself when I saw a two-metre tall humanoid wolf with yellow glow-in-the-dark eyes covered in blood. Taking advantage of their confusion, I punch the first one's throat with the claws of my left hand, the second one starts reaching for my belt and I use my jaws, realising what's about to happen before I can use my sore hand. I rip its head off, which is weird - it was pretty easy, like biting a cucumber down the middle, and the taste was pretty tolerable. As I realised the third one didn't have a button on his belt and by the smell of it he was already regretting all his sins, and from his earpiece I heard some broad's voice: - Delta Squad, respond. Have you made contact with the target? Is she caught?

Is that how they're catching me? Well, it's an ingenious method, I'll admit. I punch the last one in the throat and take off my headset and answer the nice lady.

-"Testing, testing, can you hear me?

-It's not the thirty-seventh. -It's not the thirty-seventh. Who are you?!

-I'm Batman. - "No, well, how can I resist after such a question? I'm already Bruce Wayne, so we'll keep the legend alive until the end."

-I take it the Delta Force is dead?

-You got that right. Now tell me, why catch and not kill?

-Your abilities are extremely valuable to my project, and this ability to transform is great. I'm willing to hire you, I'll pay you five million a year. Would you do that?

Bollocks, the cameras seem to still be working in a few corridors.

-You know, it's hard to trust people who've almost killed you twice already. -What do you mean?

-What do you mean?

-Well, I've had two suicide bombings, and that doesn't really fit with your orders. -What?

-What? -Fucking first! You sent those fanatics again! Don't worry, I'm not involved with these lunatics, I work for another organisation. You're an extremely valuable specimen. You'll be treated well. Take it. Don't make me send an extraction team after you.

-I'll think about it.

-Okay, but I don't like to wait long. -Yeah. You can contact me through any Roxxon branch. Just say you're from Dr M and they'll put you through to me.

Crumbling the headset, I thought, now I've got it right. I mean, where's a super, and there's no evil organisation interested in you?

All right, it's time to clear the building.

After the signal to retreat, I, laden with weapons and a couple of interesting explosive devices, carried through the woods to the assembly point. You should have seen what Arclight left behind. She hadn't bothered to do much work: she'd just demolished three buildings, and those who were there hadn't even had time to do anything.

At the point I saw a rather interesting scene: a slightly out of breath Arclight was yelling at Gambit, who, as I realised, had almost ruined the operation because of his preoccupation. He decided to play with the guard, and she took advantage of that and managed to raise the alarm, causing Shocker to catch a bullet. Puma, on the other hand, didn't seem to care - he just sat in the corner, completely covered in blood and bits of someone else's body. And I'm not even talking about the smell that hung around him. At least I had the brains to break down the vending machine and wash the blood off me at least a little.

After I finished yelling at Gambit, I finally got some attention.

-Newbie, you did great, I think you're a good fit for us. - Wiping some of the displeasure off her face Arclight said.

Zing!
