"Hey! You're going to tell me what's going on, or I'm going to have to beat the truth out of you."
His eyes blinked uselessly, not the least bit intimidated by the bunny.
"Wow! I think that was your best threat yet," feeling a little better he turned his attention back to the path, but he didn't go very far.
The bunny dragged his victim into the alley, away from the eyes she placed a hand on the wall.
In a dark, empty and silent alley, almost apart from the world, that would be quite a threat... If the positions were reversed, that is.
"I have children, so please don't eat me."
The good predator's smile only grew. She had a lettuce between her teeth, but predators were never professionals.
"That only makes things better. I like children."
Seeing her impassive face, he couldn't help but think.
'Of course, you're one of them.'
"Someone could misunderstand you, saying that."
She pulled him by the collar. Without feeling any strength in her grip, Nero leaned in a little.
As she approached, feigning patience, mystery and seduction, he just went straight to her mouth.
Their tongues touched, almost a greeting. Their kiss was wet and voracious as his arms went all over her body.
The place they were in added a spicy and forbidden flavor to everything.
He wanted her completely.
"Stop playing with me!" Diana burst out between sighs. Pulling a cheeky hand from under her dress.
"Then stop dragging me to strange places. What will people think of me? At this rate no one will want to marry me."
The young woman laughed out loud. Half of the laughter was real, the part that remembered her children.
"Didn't you say you had children?"
He looked at the entrance to the alley. It was dawn, they could do whatever they wanted there.
"They're adopted."
"Is that why you've been looking so dead lately? Because the evil witch took you away from your children?"
Nero looked at her.
The little bunny returned the look.
"What?", his eyebrow rising a little.
"You never lose your charm," he stole another kiss. Quick, sweet, just to tease. Diana finished without reacting, wetting her lips with her tongue.
"Do you think I'm stupid just because I don't know anything about your world?"
"I think you're stupid anyway..." He paid the price for his loose tongue. "Ouch! Hahaha, wait! I was joking. If you cross the line... Take your hand off before you regret it."
"You've been avoiding me too much...", her eyes were no longer those of a herbivore. "So... Maybe I want to regret it."
Once again, their mouths looked like a pair of wings made in the sky. They couldn't reach the clouds without each other. The string of saliva connecting them said a lot about how pure that relationship was. Those lips wanted more.
"W-wait, not before you tell me..."
Diana felt like she had walked into the wrong hole today. That smile in the middle of the kiss was giving her goosebumps of pleasure.
"You're not even denying that you want to have sex in the alley... Where did that image go, Miss CEO."
"I think you got lost in the second chapter. When you threw me on my desk like that. I've never done anything weird in that office, you know?"
"Hmm, that's good to know. I'll prepare something. You can call Ema, if you want," just like she wanted, her body leaned against the wall. Sliding enough for her to look him in the eyes.
"Don't involve my secretary in this, you stupid idiot who only thinks about sex."
Another kiss, the same smile. Diana felt like she was going crazy. Maybe she already was. Her lips wouldn't stay still.
"I want to know too..." She stopped smiling. "What was my fiancé thinking?" Her hand caressed his hair of its own accord.
Nero didn't run away.
"Sofia and those two scumbags...", he almost growled at the end. Diana knew what was bothering him. "They weren't the only ones interested in you. The accident and the kidnapping attracted a lot of eyes, but the news that I bit you attracted even more. It means you're mine."
Diana paused for a moment and asked:
"So?"
"So...", he kissed her ear and whispered there, making every hair on her head stand on end. "... a certain person wants to meet you."
She came out of her trance. Her mouth formed a silent 'O'.
"Is it a woman?"
The tension went away. Nero felt lost with that person. All he could manage was a quiet laugh.
"Yes."
"Playboy..."
"How do you know just by listening?"
"See! You're not even denying it anymore. You slept with her, didn't you?"
They stared at each other for a moment.
"Well, the situation is complicated... It would have been hard not to have done it."
"It's hard to believe your nerve."
They both laughed. Diana wanted to kill him. She didn't even know why she was laughing, but she wasn't as jealous as she should have been.
She was an important person to him. Not the most important one.
"She wants to meet me?" Nero nodded.
"I don't care. Just stop with that expression that something died after the kidnapping. If you keep going I'll end up thinking it's my fault."
He lowered his gaze.
"Sorry. Were you worried?"
"Of course you were! Anxious on top of that. You pull away all of a sudden. Did you think I would be like that?"
His hands moved. Big and soft, she felt as if they were his. That bite did that. It connected them deeply to the point where she closed her eyes and loved his embrace.
"Sorry... I should have realized. It's been a rough week."
Her slow, warm breathing on his neck. The racing heart, the soft scent, the comfortable fabric. They were one.
"Sure. But it's not the end of the world. If you're thinking of something, just tell me. Like a good boss, I'll take care of the newbie."
They stayed like that for a while. There was no light, no smell, no heat in that alley, none other than theirs.
The presence of each other. Their hearts beating. Their blood rushing. Diana didn't want to admit it, but when he pulled her closer and ran his hand over her waist, her mind thought of nothing else.
"How about relieving some stress?"
She couldn't help but act.
"Here?" It didn't work out very well.
His smile seemed to see through her surprise.
"Where else?" she almost asked.
But suddenly he moved closer, as if telling a secret in the silent alley.
"I'll make all your wishes come true... Even the ones you don't know you have."
Diana swallowed hard. Maybe a little regretful, or happy, for having fled the light.
And dragged that predator there.
