Chapter 4

It's been a week since Ariana got this job and she's starting to hate it. Her boss Mr Roberto Gonzalez. The owner of a multi-million dollar company that sell cars.

Roberto has it all, the looks, the physic, and the establishment. His only flaw is that he's a workaholic. He doesn't seem to have time for women, he's main focus is his job. It is rumored that he's gay.

"Ariana, come to my office" Roberto said. Ariana gulped subconsciously. She knocked lightly before entering the office. She met Roberto and a man who looked at her like he wants to eat her up.

"This is the girl i told you about Andrew" Roberto said calmly. "I see she's capable of handling the task" Andrew said.

"She's not ready for that yet, she needs more training" Roberto said. "If she's has just been here a week then she can accomplish a lot?" Andrew asked.

"She's my employee and I get to decide if she's ready or not and right now I say she isn't ready" Roberto replied with a frown. "Ariana please get us a bottle of wine" Andrew said. "It would be a pleasure sir" Ariana said with a fake smile.

She left the room not understanding what all that drama was about. Some minutes later her phone rang. "Hey Sunny what's up?" Ariana asked. "There's a big problem... We aren't prepared yet"

"Woah Sunny relax and talk to me"

"It's baby bear, this weekend end... What are we going to do? We haven't settled down yet.... It's too dangerous right now" Sunny said. "Is Melissa aware?" Ariana asked.

"Yes" Ariana let out a sigh. "It's fine it's just for a couple of days right?" Ariana asked. "No Audrey is going on her honeymoon with Derrick" Sunny replied.

"We need to make preparations, i'll get some supplies. I suggest you do the same, i don't know how much baby eats" Ariana said. "Alright" Sunny said.

Ariana got the bottle of wine and headed straight to the office. "Here you go sir's" Ariana poured the wine into the glasses before leaving. She went to her desk to think about the present situation.

Andrew left and he didn't seem happy. Hours passed, Roberto walked up to Ariana. "Ariana follow me" He said. She followed him like an obedient puppy.

They stood in front of a car. Roberto entered the car, Ariana just stood there not understanding what's happening. The car window rolled down. "Do you need a special invitation, get in the god damn car woman"

Ariana quickly hopped into the car. It was an awkward drive to their destination. When the car stopped, Roberto came down from the car and went straight inside. Ariana followed him cause she didn't dare question her boss.

Roberto went straight to his room, while Ariana waited patiently in the living room. Some minutes later Roberto came to the living room with his laptop. It was as if Ariana was part of his room decor.

After some moments of silence, Ariana spoke. "Um... Sir is there anything I can do for you?" She asked. "Now that I think about it, I'm starving. Whip up something nice I can eat" Roberto said. "Um, I'm sorry but that won't be possible sir" Ariana said. "Excuse me?"

"I can't cook for you sir, you see I'm meant to be a sales person in your company not your personal chef" Ariana said. "I asked you to make me lunch and you disobey me?" Roberto was furious.

"With a due respect sir, personal chef wasn't written in my resume {CV} sir but if you would like to order, I know this great restaurant my friend works at. Their food is amazing" Ariana replied. "{Sigh} very well order something I would like" Roberto said.

"What would you like to have" Ariana asked. "That's for you to find out" Roberto said.

In all his time on earth, no one has ever spoken back at him or better still refused him. This lady is really something.

Later in the evening, Sunny got home from work. "Where's Ariana?" Sunny asked. "She isn't back yet" Melissa replied. Sunny sat on the couch.

"Before you say anything, yes I got the food it's in the kitchen" Melissa said. "Everything must be perfect" Sunny said. "Would you chill, I'm having a migraine just watching you freak out" Melissa said.

"I can't believe this is happening right now. We can't bring baby bear into our world of chaos. How is she going to cope with the constant moving?" Sunny asked in a panic.

Melissa placed her hands on Sunny's face. "Hey, everything would be fine. We would figure something out, we always do" Melissa said.

"Not this time, I can feel it. They found me..... When I went to get something from the supermarket, some men chased me. It hasn't been a month since we came here and yet they still manage to fine us" Sunny said.

"Maybe it's just your imagination" Ariana said. Everyone looked towards the door. "How long have you been standing there?" Melissa asked. "Long enough" Ariana replied.

"I'm sorry, I should have informed you both about this but I was scared..... I was starting to like this place" Sunny said. "Let me guess, could it be because of your beautiful boss that makes your mouth water each time you see her?" Ariana asked.

Sunny chuckled softly. "Look there's nothing to be worried about, as long as we're together then we will be safe" Melissa said. "I just have one question tho, if baby comes over then we have to be responsible adults?" Ariana asked. "Yes" Sunny replied.

"Noo!! There go my freedom" They laughed and hugged each other. "Oh before I forget I got an email today saying I got the job.... Whatever that mean" Melissa said. "That's great, did you apply for a job?" Sunny asked.

Ariana tried to tip toed to the stairs. "ARIANA, IT WAS YOU WASN'T IT" Melissa yelled. "Hey calm down, let's use our calm voice while we speak" Sunny said. "I am f#@king calm" Melissa replied.

"Fine I'm sorry I just wanted you get something doing that then sit here all day doing nothing" Ariana said innocently.

"Ariana we've talked about this, you can't take decisions concerning other people into your own hands" Sunny said.

"But I....." Sunny cut her off. "I know you had her best interest at heart but this wasn't the way you would have taken. So what do you have to say to Melissa?" "I'm sorry Melissa but....."

"Nope, don't say anything. Apology is enough" Sunny said. "Look a colleague of mine told me about a company that needs a secretary. I was so excited to help you apply that I didn't hear the rest things she said. I think she was trying to warn me or something but the best news is that she got the job"

"Warn you about what?" Sunny asked. "I don't know" Ariana shrugged. "I can't work as a secretary..... I don't have the requirements" Melissa said. "Oh please take the job, the pay is well..... Don't forget we still have an extra mouth to feed and we have a lot of bills to pay next month" Ariana said.

"Sometimes I feel like strangling you" Melissa said. "That's why you love me" She said with a smile. "So when do you start work" Sunny asked "First thing tomorrow morning" Melissa replied.

"Isn't that too early?" Sunny asked. "The earlier the better" Ariana said. "Fine I'll go because Sunny wants me to" Melissa said. "But I didn't..." "Hush now Sunny, can't you see she's agreed to do it?"
