◇ New world (2)

At first, like any normal man, I was also curious to explore this world since it had so many things to uncover and to enjoy-yes I had completely forgotten my desperation to go back in my world due to being reincarnated as the main character of this anime.

But 'enjoy' was just another illusion of my average self.

I ogled myself in the mirror from everywhere, my lips, my nose, my hips-never mind that, my eyes my jawline, my muscular frame, my thick thighs. ....my clean armpits!

Everything about me was cleaner than ever!

Now, let me clear one thing from here, that I am-I mean I was a. Fucking. Pervert! At that time, I already made my plans to enjoy those beauties this anime created and raise my bloodline-sounds too bad or crazy, right? I know that.

I thought to myself that I would make a family with my favorite waifu here-which is Nassia Mildlight, a night elf. And for those who don't know, the night elves of this world only roam on the land during night due to being sensitive to sun's light. And you know that night is famous for all the cursed things-you damn pervert! I am talking about dark magic!

But before that I must be aware of the plotline or timeline I am currently in. And me being reincarnated originally as that ugly man whose name is Ry-yun who later get reincarnated into the real main character tells me that I am in the starting of this anime, which is episode number1.

Since, I was familiar with this world; it was not a big a surprise to me when a big holographic screen appears in-front of me while I was ogling myself in the little mirror but it did gave me a good...jumpSCARE!

I jumped and launched the mirror in the sky which somehow hits the chandelier...

'creak, creak'

The chandelier ghosts me and before I could observe about what the hell is about to happen, boom!

The chandelier hanging above the bed falls over it with noisy 'thud'

"Phew!" I breathed, "Thank god, I was not on the bed instead I was standing on the floor." I muttered to myself.

I turned to face and look at the hologram screen in-front of, my body all tensed up due the chandelier fall just now.

"What, 5'4? Seriously, am I that short?"-Yup that's what came yo my mind first.

"That's even smaller than some of the ladies I want to pull in!" I groaned in annoyance, all my future plans seem to be in vain now.

I glanced around my surroundings; everything seemed fine except the chandelier who took its last glimmering breath on my bed a moment ago. My eyes searched for a living person around but I could not find any around for now...

Even outside of the window, there was only silence to offer me by this world. I fell silent. The world around was too much empty...so much empty that I could not even figure out that what I must be thinking about, the plotline or the beauty of this world.

But that silence wasn't bad...I admired the raw beauty of this world in that silence, I walked around in that room for 10 minutes; the smell of soggy wooden furniture blessed my nose.

The little fireflies which were roaming carelessly inside my room near the window told me that I was probably in village since that is the only place where these beautiful sparks appear and float around.

To think that this was the view which Vance Sherman always dealt with was just making me more envious of him.

The night was glimmering in its own glimmer; I was left speechless when I looked above in the skies, it felt as if they were trying to say something to me...and I found that pretty later...

But for now, I was completely engrossed in the beauty of half dimly lit night sky; the sun and moon shared the same sky, only a few stars were seeable, the night had that weird shade of red and dark blue shade or gradient which was similar to my world but felt a bit different here.

"Brother Vance!"

And before I knew, someone was already calling me or shall I say this body.

I jolted at the sudden reminder that I am Vance Sherman now and a thin, soft feminine voice called that name with desperation and a slight helpless tone.

I jumped outside the window due to the call coming from outside rather than inside of the house. I followed the faded trace of that voice and somehow ended up in a farm. Due to the dark my vision was limited now and the scary noises around played a good role to scare as they were supposed to.

"Vance!" this time a manly voice roared that name with fierceness. Someone probably was too pleased with me to think that person would call my name in such a frustrated angry tone.

I glanced around my surrounding and suddenly felt a heavy weight on my right shoulder-goodness that gave chills down my spine. I got so scared that I didn't even dare to look behind me; my whole body froze up itself in a statue.

"Please, leave my big brother sir Dorman, I beg you" The same fragile feminine voice called out for me making turn my head around-and you won't believe what I saw behind me...

A tall man, nearly about 6'4 had his strong and big hand on my shoulder and believe me, his face did not look pleased at all and a small, thin fragile girl with stained snowy white hair and a two thin black hair locks on her side of her hair and double color eyes like me with a very pale skin as is she hasn't eaten for days who was clung to his leg as she begged for his mercy.

Darn it, I was in the worst plotline ever of this series according to me.

The little girl is actually my-Vance Sherman's little sister, Naina Sherman. And according to the plotline, she is being bullied since Vance hasn't been paid his rent on time to Rifle Dorman- but how can you expect a 16 year old pay rent worth for like 100 gold crowns!

Like, I get that people in this world are crazy, but charging a sixteen year old 100 gold crowns for rent? That's not crazy-that's criminal. Seriously, what's next? Taxes on breathing?

Originally, Vance got beaten up brutally by Rifle Dorman and ended up losing his one eye-thanks to which we (anime watchers) were able to have our favorite 'kind' pirate.

But, do I want that?

'No! Like hella no dear!", no common man would want that, not me for sure-don't know about you.

And, of course he did had a way to escape that beating for which he refused... it was to allow his little sister to be a forever slave of Rifle Dorman.

Shameless, no-coward me agreed for that, by which I thankfully was saved from losing my eye of mine...

I know, I know that I am a jerk, no- a big jerk to be precise; to think that I just sold a life for an eye of mine...

Rifle Dorman, happily leaves my shoulder which he was about to crush and turns to my sister...

Naina's eyes widen up in surprise as she looks at me, her silent gazes screamed dozens of questions of whose answer she will never get. The way she controlled herself from tearing up that made me feel like I have perfectly stabbed my own heart with my own hands.

Her eyes became red with her cheeks, her lips twitching to wail up but she doesn't instead she chooses to choke silently rather than doing a mournful show.

"Clever choice." Says Rifle Dorman and holds her arm and walks away.

She doesn't glance back and quietly follows his led as if she still trusted that her brother would come for her for sure but she did not know that this was just her imagination and nothing else.

I take a deep breath her tearfully pitiful face flashed before my eyes. Then I ran-not save her, not to fix anything.

I ran because facing her was harder than facing my guilt.

I just wanted to leave this place as early as I can. The whole time Naina's face flashing randomly before my eyes.

"I am a big jerk. How can I have left a little girl like that all alone to a monster in the form of a human?" I cursed myself. To be honest Naina might not be my real sister or anything to me since I just reincarnated into this world but that was lie I was telling myself.

Naina Sherman was one of my favorite characters in this anime. I terribly wanted a girl like her my life but now when I was given the chance I cowardly no- pathetically sold her off.

What right did I have exactly to sell her away to some other man? Who was I to her if to me she was nothing?

Can being a biological brother justify any type of criminality one commits?

What's the difference between me and Rifle Dorman, when both of us are coward and a pervert womanizer?

"Dang it" I panted, my legs trembled losing all their power and I fell on my knees on the grassy land. The moon completely took its place till now which means I ran for at least more than hour.

Gathering some will, I tilted my head to see the view in front of me...

I could tell by the flowery entrance that this place is 'Lime Town'- vines tangled around wooden arches, and every building was splashed in shades of lime and green. The walls were chipped, the paint fade by time but the colors still tried to look lively.

The entrance flowers welcomed me which bloomed on the cracks of the big board saying welcome to Lime town. It was delicately decorated on its own as if the flowers think that that a person who just sold off his sister would come to this place.

Wow! What a lively welcome even for a bastard like me...

Originally Lime town was the place where the main character sells his weapons. Yup, that's me-Vance Sherman, a hex forger. Sounds cool, right? Like I am some magical blacksmith with epic powers. SPOILER: it's mostly hammering metal and muttering spells under your breath hoping you don't blow yourself up. But at least it pays the rent... or it would've, if I wasn't a complete failure at life.

Hex forgery is a very rare skill, since only homo-stealzis and homo-mazis can perform it. Homo-stealzis are those humans who have magical power but they can't use it by their own body so they require another object as a medium to use their powers. And they can also leave their power in that object.

I think you must have noticed that Vance's character stats in the system appeared to have mana more despite the rank being so low. Well, that's because homo-stealzis naturally have more mana by birth only. And he's one.

But that doesn't matters to me. I am a fool who doesn't even know 'H' of hex forgery.

Expecting me to learn that just by watching the anime, you all? Well in your dreams...

Lime town played an important role in Vance's life in the anime since this town meant everything to him. Why, you ask? Ever heard of 'money', did you?

Since this place was the place where he would sell off his weapons to gain money for his better or normal livelihood, it meant a lot to him. But another important character in his life came from this town only...
