The Tathāgata Must Fail

Even if Sun Wukong hadn't mentioned it, he had long been contemplating relocation—Immortal Zhenyuan knew that a major event was about to take place at Huaguo Mountain and decided to secure a spot early.


"If I don't act now, other Immortals will snatch it up." With this thought, Immortal Zhenyuan invited Sun Wukong to return with him to Wuzhuang Temple.


The young Immortals of Wuzhuang Temple all paid their respects to Immortal Zhenyuan but were rather indifferent towards Sun Wukong.


This was hardly surprising; Immortal Zhenyuan had spent all his years at Huaguo Mountain and had nearly forgotten about Wuzhuang Temple, naturally angering his disciples.


Immortal Zhenyuan told his disciples, "Protect the Ginsengfruit Tree well; we are going to move Longevity Mountain to the East Sea."


He intended to move the entire Longevity Mountain, the location of Wuzhuang Temple, next to Huaguo Mountain.
