Cassey (P.O.V)
I couldn't stop myself. My head tilted instinctively, giving her more access, betraying everything I was trying to fight against. Time and distance should have erased these feelings, but here I was, underneath her, responding to every touch, every whisper, every caress like my body remembered her better than my mind ever could.
"Andy... we... we need to stop," I managed to utter in between moans.
"Why should we, Cass?" Andrea uttered hoarsely, "Your... your body says otherwise."
"Andy..."
Andrea was right. Damn it, she was. My body was betraying me, my eyes fluttered shut as I melted into the sensation of her lips ghosting over my skin. I couldn't resist, my body had already decided for me. I wanted her.
Andy's lips trailed down my jaw, across my cheeks and over my nose. I feel them ghost over my face, intentionally avoiding my lips. Teasing me. Frustrating me. And damn Andrea, it was working. My heart was pounding hard against my ribs and the more Andrea held back, the more I burned for her.
"Cass…" Andrea whispered against my ear, her breath warm and her voice thick with longing. "I've... I've missed you so much… so, so much."
Her teeth grazed my earlobe, sending a shiver down my spine, and then, she stopped.
I groaned at the loss of her touch. My eyes fluttered open, meeting hers. Andrea's eyes were glazed over with her pupils dilated with the same unspoken hunger I felt. Andrea wanted me, just as much as I wanted her.
"Please say something, Cass," Andrea whispered, her voice almost desperate.
I swallowed hard, my lips parting as I fought against the storm of emotions inside me. What could I say? What did she want me to say?
"Kiss... kiss me please," I breathed out in a stutter.
Andrea hesitated, as if she couldn't believe what she had just heard, before her head slowly dipped toward mine. Strands of her dark hair fell like a curtain around us, and I instinctively reached up, brushing them aside, my fingers trailing down to the back of her neck.
"Kiss me," I murmured once more when our lips were just a breath apart.
That was all she needed.
Andrea's lips meet mine in a slow, deliberate kiss. The feel of her lips against her mine not just a mere caress but a reminder. A reminder of who we had been, the whispered promises and the fire that had never truly burned out. The kiss felt like the first time all over again,the same intoxicating rush, the same heady mix of tenderness and sense of urgency. Andrea kissed me like she was trying to memorize the taste of me, like she had been starved for this moment.
Andrea's lips were impossibly soft, teasing and nibbling against mine. Kissing her was like a drug, intoxicating, overwhelming and impossible to resist. And I didn't want to resist.
She broke away just long enough to trail kisses down my jawline, her mouth moving lower, marking a path to my neck. The moment Andrea sucked on my skin, a moan escaped my lips before I could stop it. My hands flew to her neck, pulling her closer, needing to feel her closer.
"Andy," I gasped. I could feel her smirk against my neck and it excited me.
"I... I need a moment," Andrea lifted upwards, pulling back just enough to shrug off her blazer in a swift move.
I exhaled deeply, taken aback by how devastating Andrea looked. I didn't think, I moved. In a swift motion, I flipped us over, straddling Andrea, all reason lost to the heat consuming me.
Andrea's eyes widened in surprise before she chuckled, her hands settling on my waist. But I didn't give her time to process, I crashed my lips against Andrea's in a hungry kiss, pouring years of frustration, longing, and anger into it.
I had missed Andrea.
I wasn't ready to admit it, but I had.
My tongue traced her lips, seeking entrance, but she resisted, teasing me. I let my hands slide down her sides, pressing against her hips. Andrea gasped, just as I knew she would, and I took the opportunity to slip my tongue into her mouth, deepening the kiss.
She let out a soft, frustrated noise, and it was my turn to smirk against her lips. She thought I had forgotten her weak spots?
Never, Andy.
Never.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be here again, tangled up with Andrea Shelby Night, kissing her like my life depended on it. Not after how we left things years ago. But here we were.
Her hands tugged at my shirt, her intentions clear, and I didn't hesitate, I sat up, peeling it off. She followed suit, pulling her own over her head, leaving her in nothing but a lace bra.
Fuck.
Andrea looked good, too good. Messed-up hair, swollen lips and a toned stomach that was more defined than before. It was unfair how perfect she looked, how she had somehow become even more attractive over the years.
I reached out, trailing my fingers down her abdomen, my breath catching at how her muscles tensed under my touch. God, I had always loved her abs.
Without thinking, I bent down, pressing a kiss to Andrea's stomach. She shivered, her body arching toward me.
Her reaction sent a thrill through me. Andrea always looked so tough, so composed, but right now? Right now, Andrea was unraveling under my touch.
I kissed the valley between her breasts, my hands cupping them as Andrea let out a soft moan, her body rising to meet mine. My mouth traveled lower, leaving a trail of marks along her skin, needing to claim her, to prove that she was mine, because she was, wasn't she?
She had always been mine.
Her hips rolled up against me, desperate, restless, mirroring the way I felt. My fingers found the button of her jeans, fumbling slightly. Looking up, I found her staring at me, her lips parted, her breath ragged.
"May I?" I whispered, tugging at the waistband.
Andrea nodded, silent but willing.
I unbuttoned them, slowly pulling the zipper down, my pulse racing. Andrea lifted her hips, letting me slide them down along with her boots.
My own clothes soon followed.
Climbing back on top of her, I ran my hands over her bare arms, my skin burning where it met hers. The sensation was electric, setting me on fire.
And then, she flipped us again.
The intensity in her gray eyes sent a shiver down my spine as she loomed over me. My hands found her neck, looping over as I pulled on her, needing to feel her lips on mine.
Andrea kissed me again, but this time, it was slow. Tender. So tender it made my chest ache.
A sob caught in my throat.
The memories hit me all at once, the love, the loss and the years we had wasted. More tears spilled over, and Andrea pulled back, the concern etched into her features had to miss. And it made me cry even more
"Hey… hey, baby, what's wrong?" Andrea whispered, her lips hovering just above mine. "Did… did I hurt you, Cass?"
I shook my head quickly. "No… I just…" My voice wavered. "I… I'm scared, Andy. I'm really, really scared. What if..."
Andrea hushed me softly, wiping my tears away with her thumbs, pressing kisses to each of my cheeks.
"You will never lose me again, Cass," she whispered. "Never. I promise."
I opened my mouth to argue, but before I could, Andrea silenced me with a kiss. A kiss that felt like a promise.
A kiss that made me believe her, just for a moment.
And then.
A phone rang. The sound of it bringing back reality that crashed back in on us.
Andy tensed above me, pulling away to check the caller ID. I didn't have to ask who it was. I already knew before she even mentioned his name.
Blake.
Her boyfriend.
Just like that, the moment shattered.
