Charter: Valafar

"May the sheep in wolf's clothing be with you."

You're going to ruin everything! -Suddenly Athena heard a familiar angry voice and decided to look around to see what was going on.

"Why is it suddenly so hot..." – She looked around and saw that she was wearing a wedding dress and in her left hand she was holding a torch that was burning blood red, but not only was she burning, the whole room was burning around her. The girl had another nightmare, which she could not make out, then she saw the image of a silhouette forcibly tearing off her wedding dress, leaving her in her green dusty shirt, crashing through a window, smashing the frame with her body and from another sluggishness she quickly jumps up and with cold sweat and panting she suddenly opens her eyes where opposite her she sees Valafar eating a freshly prepared salad with the same fat bird that Frances had hunted in the fields.

Strangely, he ate with a gilded fork and knife, but that didn't suit him. This time he was dressed in home-made clothes, a white shirt and an orange corset like a flaming butterfly, accentuating his proud figure and inflated chest, which he hid behind the official royal robe, now the man's golden glasses were on a napkin near the table, and now Athena could notice his eyes, as azure as a clear day's sky, attracting everyone's attention. Behind the nefarious pirate she saw a tapestry with the royal family, there was a picture of a large nine-tailed horned fox, which really looked like this kingdom, as it resembled the maple leaves she had seen come into this world, and the horns of the royal family of this land.

Athena also had a plate of food in front of her, with a gilded fork and knife, and a clear glass with a blue liquid that looked like wine. She looked around the room in surprise but didn't want to show Valafar that she was awake, she thought it was a nightmare from which she should finally wake up and go about her business in her book club, but she didn't wake up and became very nervous when she saw Valafar looking straight at her:

"He can stop looking at me and just eat, it's enough that I've seen a real murder so there's someone sitting next to me who did it!"

"She's so interesting when she sleeps, is it just me or did I just see her scorching green eyes, should I answer her?"– Valafar raised the gilded fork to his nose.

– Do you have nightmares, my green-eyed dandelion? – He looked at her and smiled at her with his clear as day smile, as if Athena hadn't been stolen or sleeping pills put in her tea.

– Yes, but what do you care about...– Athena said quietly, lowering her eyes to the ground.

– I can't hear you, what are you trying to say?

– You! ....You stole a spell from the dark elves, managed to hypnotize innocent citizens, stole the throne from the true king, sealed it all with a powerful barrier and killed Versavia! And you dare to speak to me when you hold me hostage! – Athena snapped at the pirate, who put down his fork and knife and crossed his arms, leaning back in his chair.

– I don't deny it, but who said I stole the hypnosis spell and put that powerful barrier on the border? – Valafar said calmly.

–What are you talking about? – Athena asked, not understanding.

– First of all, the dark elf in the white robe gave me the spell, and she cast that terrible barrier, I had nothing to do with that. And the rest of it, yeah, pretty much my job.

– There's no way Lan could have done that. – Athena wondered, whispering a suggestion to herself.

– Are you going to be insulting again or are you going to eat normally? – Valafar didn't like the fact that the girl hadn't touched her food while they were talking.

After waking up Athena was really hungry and could use some fresh food, she touched the gilded fork with her left forefinger and felt the incredible coldness of the thing as if the fork had recently been in the freezer and the cutlery had been taken out especially for the girl to enjoy the food, she was very nervous and cautious as she took the gilded knife and began to cut a piece of freshly cooked meat, Athena thought at that moment that perhaps Valafar had put sleeping pills in her food again and it made her uncomfortable. Hunger was stronger than the girl and she easily cut off a piece of meat, put it in her mouth and began to chew, the pirate watching with a satisfied face, marveling at how beautifully and slowly she was eating.

He got up from his chair, put the kitchen utensils away and left the huge room, saying just a few words: – In the evening, in the same place....

Athena started to take a sip of the bluish substance in the glass, but as she brought the glass closer to her mouth she found the key in the glass. She carefully removed the key, wiped it on a napkin and placed it on the edge of the table.

– What a strange villain, to eat and leave keys to some doors...– Athena said in a voice and looked around quickly, but luckily she was alone. She breathed a sigh of relief and continued to eat, thinking about her next steps and possible escape.
