Charter: Valafar

At that time I did not understand what it meant, until I was nailed to the shore of the neighboring Kingdom, as I did not try to step into the water I was thrown away by the slightest contact with the water, I built rafts, prayed to the Gods seeking their forgiveness, but nothing worked, and then to me on the shore came a wonderfully smiling dark elf in white robes in her hands holding a magical scroll she appeared before me and said:

-Your so-called "Gods" have abandoned you, what a poor thing! Hi- hi- hi.

-Who are you and what do you want from me? Can't you see I'm in pain?

-I won't tell you my name, but I can help you with your problem. -I thought she must be joking and didn't do anything, but there was this strange energy about her that I could feel from the mist itself. She was smiling all the time and it made me a little wary.

-Your curse can be lifted by the One behind the mist, but He has agreed to help on one condition. Hi-hi-hi-hi!

-What is the condition? -I asked in surprise.

-Become the new King of Morsalia, and then your wish will come true!

I agreed to her suggestion, she gave me a hypnosis spell and sent me to the king of Morsalia, on the way I hypnotized a dragon and the smiling elf gave it strong black scales and put a powerful barrier between this Kingdom and the rest of the world saying that she had something to find, I hypnotized all the people in the area and overthrew the King. A Nightmareclaw flew to me and told me he was from the elf's mistress and had come to work with her until she had finished her work and removed her barrier....

NOW

-Only the One behind the mist can lift my curse. Now go to the far white door, that's your bedroom, I'll see you at the table tonight. -He closed his eyes with his hand and turned sadly away from Athena, she didn't say anything to him or feel sorry for him and just quietly left the library and went to the far white door, she inserted the key and to her surprise it turned easily in the keyhole and she opened the door to see a spacious bedroom in front of her.

The first thing she saw was the color of the room, it was brown and red, lit by a golden chandelier with burning candles. Everything was antique, but it smelled of grandeur and wealth, even the bed was less than two meters high, with big red pillows and a big, beautiful lace coverlet that stretched all the way to the floor. As she sat down on the bed she felt its incredible softness and firmness, turning her head slightly towards the headboard of the king's bed she could see the red wallpaper painted in dark colors, all brightened by the two candlesticks that also hung on either side of the bed, she watched the large wooden window with a kind of pleasure, Athena stood up to see where it faced and she saw a huge old willow tree that had been there for centuries, maybe even millennia, she sat down on the large windowsill and just watched the local nature quietly, thinking about her next steps and studying all the information she had learned in a few days in this world.

-I need to find a way to get into the dungeon underneath the castle…-Whispered the girl, looking at Willow and trying to think of a way to get more information and escape from here without any casualties. She sat in deep thought for the rest of the evening until she remembered that she had to go out to eat. She took off her red robe and hairpins, taking with her the bottle on her belt that the Shaman had given her, and left the bedroom that Valafor had given her for her personal use. When she arrived at the dining table, the pirate was already sitting there with two lit candelabras and a muted romantic atmosphere, eating a seafood salad he had found in the local kitchen. Athena sat down quietly at the table and began to put a little bit of the vegetable salad on her plate into her mouth.

-Did you like the bedroom? -Suddenly dining Valafar asked Athena a question.

-Of course, thank you for your hospitality. -She still didn't understand why she was here, and Valafar's seemingly normal questions made her uncomfortable.

-Would you like to stay? -the boy asked, taking a bite of fish.

Athena stopped eating and looked at the pirate with surprised eyes, then replied with trembling lips: -I would really like to leave this castle...

Valafar stopped eating, placed the gilded fork and knife on the dining table, rose slowly from his chair and, wiping his hands with a napkin, replied:

-Why? Don't you like this place? You can have anything you want in this castle.

-He traced his fingers across the long table and slowly moved closer to Athena.
