Chapter 112 - Feelings

Jay-jay's POV

The frappe I'm drinking, would be delicious. But that has nothing to do with what's bothering my brain.

My feelings couldn't handle it!

"Is it good?" Yuri asked me.

I looked at him. "Hmmm.."

"What does it taste like?... What does the air taste like?"

Huh?!

I looked at what I was drinking. Mud! It's empty. I scratched my head while trying to smile.

"Speak now... I know something is bothering you."

Am I that obvious? Thank you!

Yuri was obviously waiting for what I had to say. But I have no intention of speaking. I'm still not sure about what I saw on Eren's cellphone.

I wanted to ask him about it but I didn't. I'm really sure, they were the ones I saw the night of the festival.

I looked at him.

"...You still don't trust us. We were all here for you but you don't seem to see us."

He was about to move his seat because of what I was doing but I immediately grabbed his cheek and turned his face to mine.

"W-what are y-you doing?" He asked.

I just smiled sweetly at him. Because after all, I don't really know why I'm doing it.

But I'm glad to do it with him.

"Ma'am, Sir." Someone said, I was a little surprised cause I let go of holding Yuri,

We both looked at the speaker.

Denzel?

"W-what are you doing here?" I asked him.

He pointed to his uniform and smiled. He is a waiter. He is working here.

"Looks like you don't need to order... Your sweet is enough to fill you up." He teased us.

Yuri and I both looked away. It's as strong as Denzel's teasing.

"What's up?! Are you still going to order?" He is still teasing us.

"Y-yeah." Yuri replied.

That's why before we could order, the door of the cafe suddenly opened and Keifer came directly to us.

"K-keifer." I whispered.

"Jay-jay..." He called me. "... You need to come with me."

I looked at him. "Huh?"

"Is there any problem Keifer?" Yuri asked before standing up.

His gaze is still focused on me. He was so serious that it made me nervous.

"It's about my promise on bringing you back to Hemilton University."

I stood up automatically. Are we going back there now? But I thought it would be next week, because they say we will find a time that brother Angelo won't notice.

"W-is it really now?" I asked and looked at Yuri.

"We have no more time for this. Let's go!" Keifer said and suddenly he grabbed my hand and pulled me out.

But before we could reach the door, another hand grabbed my other hand.

"Jay..." He called me while his eyes were talking.

"Jay! We need to go!" Keifer shouted.

I looked at Keifer for a moment and looked back at Yuri. His eyes were talking to me while Keifer's was persistent.

I have to go to Papa. But I want to stay for reasons I don't understand. I looked for a moment at their hands holding me.

Why does this seem like a big decision for me to make?

I just bit my lower lip. I withdrew my hand from Keifer's grip and faced Yuri.

"I just have to go see Papa. I hope you understand." I said.

Yuri held my other hand. "I know. But please, come back here."

I quickly nodded before withdrawing my hands from him. I quickly ran to the door where Keifer was.

"Let's go." He said before we ran to his car.

Another car?!

Getting inside, Keifer quickly started the car. I immediately fastened my seatbelt because I felt like I was participating in F1 racing.

Very fast! That's it!

Our trip was more than two hours, during the University visit. But at the speed with which this King of snakes runs, I feel that our flight will only be half an hour.

His face was still very serious as he focused on the road. I can't tell if he's angry or what.

She looked at me and Keifer. "W-he's gone... He left earlier."

I was saddened by what he said but I did not lose hope.

"Maybe we can get info about him. Where he lives or maybe a contact number."

"Oh, it's not possible." The woman answered me quickly.

"Alright Sister, it's really necessary. It's an emergency!" I insisted.

"It's really not possible."

"Look Miss... We don't have time for this. We really need to talk to that man." Said Keifer.

It is obvious that he is also irritated because this sister does not want to give information. I can understand him if it's not possible because... !

"Is there a problem here?" Someone asked.

I remember him! He was one of the people who spoke during our University Visit here.

"Sir, they're here Mr. Mariano, and asking for his information." The woman reported.

He looked at both Keifer and me. "What for?"

I felt someone sitting next to me. I didn't waste time looking to see who it was.

"Jay..." He called me and suddenly put his arms around me. He leaned my head on his shoulder. "...I wish I had sped up, we might have caught up with him."

I was forced to get off and quickly walked into the gate. I didn't go inside the house right away. I just leaned against the gate and listened for his car to leave.

I was not disappointed because Keifer quickly drove his car away.

It's not good anymore! It's strange, it seems too much. It was right that I admitted to myself that I do have strange feelings for him. I don't want to admit what I feel anymore.

It might just get messy, if I insist on finding out. This is better.

I walked closer to the door of the house. I was about to take a step but I stopped.

It's like I forgot something.

I quickly turned around to run outside but suddenly it occurred to me that he might not be there anymore. But he will text me then.

I immediately picked up my phone but I didn't receive a single text or call from Yuri.

I tried to look inside the cafe through the glass window.

I parked my bike. I approached the glass door of the café. I was just going to peek but I accidentally pushed the door. I just realized that the cafe is still open.

I pushed the door open, just in time for me to enter. I suddenly stopped when I saw the surroundings.

Pure Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling. They look like fireflies and are beautiful. I can't help but smile at what I see.

There are also scented candles around.

Who.... Is Yuri?!

I immediately rolled my eyes to look for Yuri. Could he be the one who did this? But for what? Why is there something like this?

He is stationed in the corner. Alone and quietly drinking. There are four empty bottles in front of him.

"Yuri..." I called him.

He immediately stopped drinking and looked at me. He forced a smile and lowered the bottle he was holding.

"Is it good?" He asked me while looking up.

"Of course..." I answered and smiled at him.

For reasons I don't understand, I seem to have noticed that he has a problem.

I really waited for him. I was suddenly embarrassed. I left but ended up with nothing. If only I had known, I wish I would have never left him.

I heard him sigh so I looked at him.

"Is there a problem?" I asked.

He sighed and looked at the floor. "Jay-jay..." He started. "...Are you serious about your feelings for Keifer?"

Suddenly, he ruffled his hair with one hand. It's like he's annoyed that I don't understand.

I was about to open my mouth to speak but suddenly Yuri took out one of his hands from his pocket.

He was holding something that he put down on the table. Small red box. My heart beat faster on its own.

"For you..." He said and walked out of the café.

I was left dumbfounded and staring at the box he gave me. I looked at him for a moment but he left immediately.

I bit my lower lip.

I hope I'm wrong... I hope it's not what I'm thinking.

I slowly took the box and slowly opened it. My eyes widened when I saw the contents.

I sat in the chair near me.

W-what does this mean?

Why did he give me a ring?
