Chapter 124 - Kit

Jay-jay's POV

"Isn't Ci-N going to be here?" Grandma asked me.

"He is not..."

I feel that Lola misses Ci-N. I miss him too. He hasn't been here for a few days. It would be nice if he texted me or called me but he didn't.

On Christmas day, his brother suddenly called me. He was very angry with me and told me to send Ci home.

He said Ci-N didn't want trouble so I just went him home. He said he would call as soon as he got home but he didn't.

I would like to go to see him, but his brother and I might end up fighting and we even fought before. It will be safe here, instead of getting into trouble.

I heard my cellphone ring. I thought it was Ci-N so I hurried to pick it up but it turned out that the caller was someone else.

"Hello?"

["Jay-jay"] Eren called me softly.

"Why? Do you need something?"

I heard on the other line that there was a commotion. I still hear someone fighting and then it seems like someone is walking briskly.

"...It's a noise, where are you?" I asked him.

["I'm here, at Kit place... There's a problem."] He breathed deeply. ["...p-can you come here?"]

I was confused by what was happening. Add the noise on Eren's side. There seems to be a collision that I don't understand.

"Why?"

["I don't know who to approach anymore. Kit needs help right now."]

I felt worried. Neither Kit nor Eren mentions the problem. If they have called me because of that, it means that they are facing a difficult situation.

I didn't wait for what Eren had to say. I immediately hung up the call. I said goodbye to Grandma before going straight to the bedroom to get dressed.

"I'm leaving La... It's up to you to tell Aunt." I said and grandma nodded at me.

I left the house and immediately ran to the corner. Fortunately, there are many taxis scattered around the village, so I didn't have any trouble getting on.

He mmediately sent me Kit's address. I just went to his house once, but I still remember at least some of it.

Because of the traffic, I feel like the flight will take me a long time. My head hurts from the sound of their horns. They thought that the car in front of them would start if they honked the horn.

I arrived safely at Kit's house. Eren was already waiting for me at the gate of the house.

"Eren..." I called him. "...What happened?"

Eren took me by the arm and pulled me slightly away from Kit's house. He looked at the gate for a moment before speaking.

"Jay... Can you pretend to be Kit's girlfriend?" Talk to him directly.

"W-what?! I don't want to!" I answered quickly.

"Alright... Jay... Please... Kit just needs it."

"I don't want to! Stop me Eren."

"Jay... Come on... Maybe Kit won't leave the room anymore. He hasn't been eating properly for a few days."

I was stunned by what he said. What does my pretending to be his girlfriend have to do with Kit not leaving the room?

"First explain to me what happened." I ordered him.

Eren looked at the house again before facing me and talking to me. He still held his senses and breathed deeply.

"Okay... Okay... Let's just discuss it first?"

I nodded to him in agreement.

"Because Kit... W-what... It shouldn't come from me!" He said with a hand on his head.

"If you don't tell me right away, I'm leaving." I told him and I was bored of his reaction.

It's been too long, it's still too thrilling.

"Here it is...the matter is...!" He breathed deeply again. "...B-because Kit is gay."

I don't know if I should list what Eren said as a super shocking moment or just moderate. I had a suspicion before, but of course I didn't know if it was true.

"Jay? Did you catch what I said?" He asked me.

I just appeared my hand. "My suspicions were right!" I screamed.

Eren immediately signaled me to be quiet and peeked into the house again.

"Suspicion?" He asked me.

"I saw them at the Festival, they were with Mayo. Then I also saw their picture on your cellphone." I explained.

Eren took his phone and looked at the picture I was talking about.

"If Kit is gay, what's the problem? What does that have to do with him not leaving the room?"

Eren rubbed the back of his neck. "He told the truth to his family but they didn't react well. They got into trouble, so instead of breaking up, Kit didn't show much to his Papa. It's just that, it's gotten worse now. He doesn't leave the room even on Christmas."

Thank you! It's worse than I thought. It's not obvious to Kit that he has such a problem.

"Why do you want me to pretend to be his girlfriend?"

"I just want this conversation to end. Let's assume that Kit isn't serious, that he's only pretending to earn their trust. In reality, he is truly a man, and you are the proof of that." He explained it to me quickly.

But it's not like that. Kit will only get more in this difficult situation.

"I don't think that's the solution."

"What solution?"

"I don't know... But it's better if we talk to Kit."

I suggest.

"Because it's not that easy... Kit doesn't want to talk to us. That makes me angry too."

"Why?"

"Do you remember the fight between Mayo and I? It was followed, the next day after the Christmas party."

My eyebrows met with disappointment.

"What happened?! Why did you two fight again?"

He scratched his head. They actually talked for a long time. My head hurts too.

I even laughed a little at his reaction. I know that he is a real man. It's a shame to bring two girlfriends. But I admire him even though his best friend is a gay, he still supports his peg.

We stopped in front of Kit's bedroom door. I knocked and listened for someone to speak but it was quiet inside.

"Kit... This is Jay-jay. Can we talk?" I asked. Still no one spoke or made any noise. "...You can tell me. You know me, right?"

We heard something ringing inside and then papa's footsteps approaching the door. I heard the sound of the doorknob and the door opened slightly.

Eren was about to enter but I signaled him that I was the only one. He nodded and let me go inside.

I closed the door and his room was very dark. Only his laptop monitor gives light.

I saw Kit sitting on the floor next to his bed. I also sat there and told him.

"How are you? They say you don't go out." I asked him.

He didn't speak but I heard his deep breathing. Until he suddenly sobbed.

"Jay... I'm confused. I don't know what to do." He said and tried to stop crying.

"Alright... just cry it out." I said while rubbing his back.

"I'm really a man... I don't know what happened... I just suddenly woke up that something was wrong with me." He took a deep breath and wiped away the tears. I also gave him the handkerchief he was carrying. "...I found out what it was but nothing, I just felt him... Until I met Mayo... We were always together t-then... He kissed me."

I honestly have no idea how people like Kit feel. Maybe because I'm straighter than the pole. But even so, I felt that he was struggling.

"...Everything is messed up... I tried to stay away from him... I also tried to fix myself... I've been involved in all the fights but it's still the same..."

I was confused. I wanted to ask him but I know this is not the right time for me to intrigue.

He took a deep breath and tried to wipe his tears. He stopped speaking. He also leaned his head on the bed in our corner.

"Kit..." I called to him. "...Being imprisoned here is not the solution to your problem."

"I understand Jay..." He said almost in a whisper.

We both kept quiet. I looked around his room. Because it was so dark, I could barely see it.

I looked at his laptop. Because that sound is constant. It looks like he has email or chat..

"That's Mayo..." Kit said.

"Why don't you answer?"

"I don't want to... Besides, we're already separated. Why should I talk to him?"

Separate?!

Go ahead! My ears couldn't handle the word 'separate'. That means----Holy cow buffalo!

This is how you feel when you find out that two people close to you that you thought were real men, well, there is something!

"Jay..." Kit called me. "...can you help me?"

"What's that? I'll do it as long as I can."

"Help me become a real man again." He said and suddenly brought his lips to mine. 😱
