Chapter 48 - Sacrifice

Jay-jay's POV

"What's up? Still nothing?" Ask Keifer.

The fool did not answer. I have been waiting for days for Keifer's plan to catch the culprit.

That's why until now, Nganga! I'm waiting for nothing. I'm bored. I feel that Ci-N will never go back to the way it was before.

The money in my bag is also rotting. I'm tempted to spend it. That's why Ci immediately comes to my mind.

"Jay... Don't do this. Ci-N is the one the woman is teaching." Kiko said.

"But he didn't see that Ci-N actually took it! Because I took it and handed it to Ci! I don't even know that he didn't notice that I was the one who handed it to him!" I explain.

Accept my explanation. You guys are crazy!

"How did you know there was money in the bag?" Aries asked directly.

"I-I heard her and her boyfriend talking!"

"Why did you take it? Well, Kuya can give it to you." Aries asked again.

"You sound defensive." Freya said.

One should stop talking. What he is saying makes no sense. It's just annoying!

"But this one is 25,000..." Mykel said again while waving the money.

Michael smirked.

"If you really want to... Then fine, you who stole!" Aries said.

"Really!" I said proudly and immediately left the cafeteria.

I'm going back to the room. I need to think of something to say to Ci-N. Reasons and explanations.

When I entered the room. They are gathering and holding cellphones. They looked at me the same way.

"What were you thinking?!" Keifer said angrily.

"W-why?"

"You're live on facebook." David said and held out his phone to me.

In my position, I was facing the videographer. Freya's account posted. Really witch!

My heart beats fast. I didn't expect it. But I have to be ready, I like it.

"Why did you do that Jay? You despised yourself." Ci-N asked worriedly.

I smiled at him. "I want it to go back to the way it was before."

"But what about that? What will people say to you?"

"I don't care about them. It's me! I can do it!" I can handle it.

I have experienced more than this. I don't have anything to say

them.

I know I can be sorry for what I did. They are still coming, Grandma. It is not obscure that they do not know. I will just prepare myself for what they will say.

"Thank you Jay.." said Ci and smiled at me.

I smiled at him too. A smile that says I'm fine.

Aries's POV

"I got thousands of views and comments." Freya boasted.

"Why do you still need to post?" Kiko's question was irritating.

"She needs to learn a lesson. That knowing has a great reward." Michael said.

I wanted to complain about what they did. It would be good if only the whole school could see it. But also other people. It probably reached Kuya too.

But they also have a point. Jay needs to learn to stop wondering.

"Should we suspend Jay? He went to the cafeteria even though it's not allowed." Mykel asked.

"What the fvck?!" Freya suddenly cursed. "..Someone deleted the video!"

"You deleted it?!" Mykel asked angrily.

Freya rolled her eyes. "Someone nga daba?" She sarcastically said.

"But it's your account! No one can deleted except you!" Sagot ni Mykel.

"Unless, it was hacked." I said boringly.

Freya suddenly got scared and immediately type something on her phone.

"That's karma..." Kiko murmured.

One of this days, I will to talk to this guy and clear things about Jay.

Keifer's POV

"Successfully deleted!" Edrix announce.

That person is really good at computer works. We're lucky to have him here with us.

"Freya must be hysterical right now." Yuri said.

"Is Ci-N okay?" I ask them.

"He's a bit okay. But he's still worried about Jay." Kit answer.

"Do you have any plan? Maybe we can't let Jay-jay bring all the problems." Yuri said.

I look at him confusedly. Why do i smell something weird? Smell like, worried or concern.

"I'll talk to Ci-N about that." I answer shortly.

"Hahaha.. Freya is trying to get her account back." Edrix said while laughing.

"Give it back... Maybe it will cry." Kit teased.

"Should I?" Edrix will ask for my permission.

I just nodded. I won't do anything with his account. Her face is not beautiful enough for me to look at.

I can only see his property there.

Jay-jay's POV

Ci-N is okay. Not totally yet but we have been able to talk to him. He is smiling even now.

We are walking out of school. I have prepared myself here.

"It's really him, not Ci-N."

"Not ashamed anymore. He used Ci."

"I feel sorry for Ci-N."

"He should be expelled there."

My fist clenched. I thought I was ready. But I can't help but be annoyed.

"Are you okay Jay?" David asked me.

I just smiled in response.

We split up out of the gate. They said they had somewhere to go before going home, so they couldn't deliver me.

Take me to the Mini Mart. I like it because it's ice cream. Lose weight.

"Welcome to Mini Mart!" The cashier opened the door for me.

I just smiled at him and went straight to the Ref to get some ice cream.

I immediately returned to the cashier after getting what I wanted. The cashier kept glancing at me while punching my purchase.

"98.50.." he said.

I gave the payment. I was about to leave when the cashier stopped me.

"Miss... If it's okay. Can I take a look at your bag?" He told me.

I looked at him. "For what?"

"Ah... W-because..."

I already know the reason. It's part of what I did, so I should have prepared myself for things like this.

"If I don't agree what will you do?" I challenge.

"Miss.. P-just for----"

"You have a CCTV camera, don't you? Why don't you look at it?"

He turned to his computer for a moment and watched the CCTV footage.

He faced me.

"S-sorry Miss."

I looked him straight in the eyes. "Advice friend----even though I'm not your friend and I don't want to be your friend either. Don't be judgmental, maybe you watched the video but you weren't there to know the whole incident."

I didn't wait for what he had to say. It's like I'm about to cry. Now I know how Ci-N feels.

It's just one. What if the school is full? I might not be able to handle it.
