Chapter 29 Little Spider

When Gwen heard this, she couldn't help but ask, "Venom is also your lover?"

Pamela nodded with a smile and said, "Yes."

Gwen frowned and asked again, "Sister Pamela, why are you so exceptional? Are you planning to share that with others?"

Leaning against the bathtub, Pamela spoke slowly, "Gwen, I am not exceptional. I am a monster."

Gwen, slightly confused, responded, "You don't look any different from other monsters, but you possess special abilities. Why do you consider yourself a monster?"

Pamela let out a bitter smile and said, "My professor injected me with a drug. My body became filled with toxins so potent that mere seconds of contact could kill a person."

He was the only one who accepted me without fear. Venom compressed the toxins within my body, allowing me to live a normal life.

That is why I want to share his love with others. This love is precious to me, and I don't want to lose it."

Gwen listened to Pamela's words with a mix of sympathy and admiration.

"And," Pamela continued, "I cannot naturally create life on my own. But Venom has promised me that he can use my cells, my precious cells, to nurture life."

As she spoke, Pamela gently placed her hand on her lower abdomen, a hopeful expression on her face.

Hearing this, Gwen felt a complex mix of emotions. She felt sorrow for what Pamela had been through, yet she admired her courage and determination.

After taking a shower, the two lay on the bed, sharing stories of their past. Their bond grew even deeper.

"Sister Pamela, is that ring on your finger an engagement ring?" Gwen had noticed the gemstone ring on Pamela's hand, and even while bathing, she never took it off.

"This? No, my beloved said that if it were, he would give me an even better one."

Pamela gazed at the ring in her hand and smiled softly.

Her dear Tony had spoken those words, and if she wanted, she knew he could give her thousands, even billions, of rings.

Gwen hesitated for a moment. "Sister Pamela, this ring… it feels a little dangerous. I don't know if it's just my imagination."

Pamela glanced at Gwen, surprised by her keen perception.

"It's not your imagination! This ring has a special ability—it can fire a cutting laser beam."

Gwen's eyes widened in shock. Her mouth formed an "O" shape, and she exclaimed in disbelief, "What? This little ring can actually emit a beam of light? That's unbelievable!" A hint of envy flickered in her eyes.

Seeing her reaction, Pamela chuckled. "Don't be jealous. There are seven more."

Gwen huffed and turned her face away stubbornly. "I don't want his rings! Who would even want them?" But the slight blush on her cheeks betrayed her true thoughts.

Pamela smiled knowingly. She recognized this as nothing more than a young girl's pride, something pure that should not be tainted. She patted Gwen's shoulder lightly and said, "Alright, alright. But who knows what the future holds?"

Gwen bit her lip lightly, saying nothing, but she couldn't stop her imagination from running wild.

"What's that movement?"

Suddenly, Gwen's Spider-Sense tingled with an unusual sensation.

Pamela answered, "Venom and my beloved are making love."

Hearing this, Gwen's face instantly turned bright red, and she hurriedly pulled the quilt over herself.

Pamela couldn't help but tease her. "Oh, Gwen, you're so shy."

From under the quilt, Gwen's muffled voice protested, "Sister Pamela, stop joking."

Pamela chuckled. "Haha, alright, alright, I'll stop."

Yet, Gwen still refused to come out from under the quilt, leaving Pamela shaking her head helplessly.

After more than ten minutes, the noises from the adjacent room finally stopped.

Gwen peeked her head out from under the quilt, looking confused. "Was Chino… that fast?"

Pamela, equally puzzled, furrowed her brows and muttered, "No, last night it clearly took several hours before he was satisfied. Did he get forced out this time?"

The two exchanged glances before quickly looking away in embarrassment.

A while later, there was a knock at the door.

"Pamela, can you help me? Venom has fainted."

Chino's voice carried a hint of helplessness. He had no idea how Venom functioned, and after a while, the symbiote had simply passed out. Unable to get up or even sit properly, he had no choice but to seek Pamela's help.

"Gwen, looks like you'll have to sleep alone tonight."

Pamela, still in her pajamas, walked out. From outside the door, a seductive voice echoed, "Well… my love, let's return to our room. We have plenty of time tonight."

Hearing the sounds from the adjacent room, Gwen clutched her head. How was anyone supposed to sleep like this?

After some thought, she quietly climbed onto the balcony, sneaked over to the neighboring one, and found a hidden corner to observe.

———

Chino woke up in the warmth of a fragrant embrace. Venom and Pamela were exhausted, sleeping deeply despite the surrounding noises.

Getting up, he stepped onto the balcony to enjoy the morning sunlight. Suddenly, he felt something wet under his foot. Crouching down, he noticed a small puddle of liquid.

He gently touched it with his finger, pulling at the viscous strands. He was all too familiar with this substance.

Looking towards the neighboring balcony, he noticed the door wasn't completely shut.

"A sneaky little spider was here last night."

Chino smirked knowingly. He already knew exactly who it was. Without disturbing Pamela and Venom, he walked downstairs.

Gwen was already eating breakfast. Seeing Chino approach without saying a word, she continued eating as if nothing had happened.

Chino sat down across from her and greeted, "Good morning, Gwen."

Gwen, without thinking, replied, "Morning, Chino." However, after saying it, she felt embarrassed. Her face turned slightly red, and her eyes darted around, unable to meet his gaze.

Chino, noticing her reaction, smirked and deliberately asked, "Did you sleep well last night?"

Gwen nearly choked on her food, stammering, "I-It was fine…"

Chino chuckled, shaking his head before returning to his meal.

Gwen hurriedly finished her breakfast, ready to leave. She was utterly embarrassed. Last night, she had gone crazy—she had actually spied on Chino and Pamela.

"Wait."

"What is it?"

Gwen watched as Chino approached her, taking her hand.

In that moment, Gwen's mind became a chaotic mess.

Is he about to propose?

He already has two lovers. Isn't that too greedy?

Do I want to accept? Wait, what am I thinking? There's no way he's proposing, right?

But… if he does, what should I do? If I accept, it seems too easy. If I reject, I might regret it.

Chino left a red marking on her palm and said, "This will let me know if you're ever in danger."

Noticing her slightly strange expression, Chino asked, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

Gwen pulled her hand back and hurriedly replied, "No, it's nothing… I wasn't thinking about a ring or anything."

The moment the words left her mouth, she felt deeply embarrassed. How could she blurt out something so humiliating?
