His feeble will had almost instantly been overwhelmed by millions and millions of years of information, as the information surged into him he had felt himself become cold and robotic, his will almost completely erased.
Luckily, it seemed that the wellspring of information it came from required vast quantities of spiritual energy, so the information didn't overwhelm his mind and erase his sentience. Moreover he felt that the information was his own, he was just too weak to support the vast information, rules and calculations.
He tenaciously held on to his will for a few minutes but grew exhausted quickly, the flood of information was too much and he couldn't bear it.
just as he thought he was done for he wildly swept his will out and in a twist of fate it seemed that he controlled the eternal energy in his body. He felt the eternal energy in his body shut down all his meridians.
The spirit qi was cut off and the deluge of information receded, his will was pulled alongside and he noticed that he arrived somewhere deep within himself.
He arrived at a boundless expanse and instinctively knew this was his soulspace, and in the middle of his soulspace there was a diamond crystal floating serenely within. Wu Tian sensed that this crystal was the source of the eternal energy, the eternal energy emitted from this crystal was denser by hundreds and thousands of times than the eternal energy in his body.
Below the diamond crystal was a vast cloud that looked like a world, at the same time it looked like Wu Tian. it emitted a dense domineering heavenly qi, Wu Tian instinctively knew this was his soul. However there were countless seals and bounds and Wu Tian saw one of them had unraveled.
He felt himself being drawn into the world soulcloud and he submerged into it, the cloud quickly condensed and formed into Wu Tian.
At that moment Wu Tian felt complete, he knew of his origin. He knew who he was and he knew his roots. He was born of heaven and earth.
He was a heavenly dao. Wu Tian felt there was something wrong with that thought.
No, he was Wu Tian.
This thought made him instinctively curb the domineering aura emanating from him. He didn't know that this instinctive action had saved the lives of everyone in this world.
The heavenly dao was what he had been. He was now Wu Tian of the Wu family, a human.
This thought lasted only a bit before it was submerged in others.
Wu Tian in this state knew he could fully utilize his might as heavenly dao. However it wouldn't last, he was using the last of the energy left when he had been torn from the immortal realm and reborn a human.
He remembered how he had been as a heavenly dao. There had been no consciousness, just endless time observing and adjusting the immortal realm. Wu Tian knew he couldn't be in this state forever; he was only here for a short period of time due to coincidence.
It was his soul but his consciousness was new born and was too weak to control it, his body was too weak to bear it.
He knew however that with time his consciousness would strengthen automatically and so would his body. With sufficient time he would be as powerful as the immortal world. However that would take eons, cultivation could reduce the time massively. Thus he would definitely cultivate to reduce the time needed.
However it would be a shame that he wouldn't be able to access the immense information he had, it would be a great while later before he would be able to bear the load of this information and it wouldn't be as useful then, right now it would hugely help during his cultivation journey.
Was there really no way to use his soul and information right now?
He used the massive computational power of his soul and quickly deduced a solution. Looking at the massive crystal above him he used his increased strength to mobilize his connection with it, as he did he could feel a sliver of the immense power contained within it.
He decisively stopped probing it and mobilized the sliver f influence he had over it. He wanted to try and change the seals in his soul and modify the way he merged with it.
He at first though he had failed but slowly he felt the seals all over his soul begin to change. He couldn't parse them and didn't even dare to look at them since they were so profound but through his connection with the crystal he felt that they matched his intent. The seals and scripts moved and encased his soul, forming something like a cocoon.
He was kicked out of the heavenly dao state he had been in and for a moment as the seals started to transform his soul.
As he exited the heavenly dao state he could feel a profound sense of incompleteness and loss. He yearned to be in that sense of completeness and oneness again, but looking up at the cocooned soul and knew he still had a long way to go.
He felt his consciousness get blurry and knew that he probably leaving this soul space, as he left he got a stream of information into his consciousness but before he could study it he passed out
As Wu Tian experienced bizarre events in his consciousness, Lin Qing and the rest only saw the Lin Qing being injured before the whirlpool suddenly cut off. A few moments had passed before they had then felt a massive pressure emanate from Wu Tian.
It had only been an instant but those present were sure they would never be able to forget it in their entire life. They had felt as if they were not looking at Wu Tian but at a whole world, it had been as if an ant overlooking a dragon, a human overlooking a universe. The pressure had set out to immediately crush them to paste but then withdrawn suddenly.
That had been the single most terrifying moment of their life. A moment after this the dignity emanating from Wu Tian had changed and then disappeared.
Wu Tian's body had then simply collapsed. Xiao Ren had been the first to recover and had quickly gone to check on him. Lin Qing and the rest had followed. None of them knew how lucky they had been today.
To face the heavenly dao pressure of an immortal world and survive proved that there was something extraordinary about them.
