His voice is velvet, edged with sin—soft enough to make her shiver, dark enough to make her obey.



Ariel tries to move, to escape, to fight against the invisible chains pressing against her skin. But he’s already there. Behind her. Before her. Inside her mind.



"You can’t leave. Not now. Not ever."



His fingers trace the edges of her trembling lips. Heat coils around her wrists, his magic binding her without a single chain.



"Say my name, Ariel. Whisper it, scream it, curse it—" his breath burns against her throat, "—but you will never forget it."



She gasps as the weight of his words settles into her bones.



And then he smiles.



"Good girl."
