A man awakens in an unforgiving yet beautiful world.
He will face great challenges as he journeys far and wide in search of an answer to his lost memories and the nature of the new world he inhabits.
It is a land of great and terrible wonders, yet as grandiose as it seems, it is also a shadow of its former past, filled with ruins of what were once thriving kingdoms.
Expect a lonely journey.
Will he recover his past? Will he be able to return home? Who knows...
*Author here. This is my first novel, hope you enjoy it.
If it gets popular I may increase the scale of the novel, since it's going to be a short read for the meantime.
I think you'll like this if you also like Souls games, The Lovecraft Mythos or Made in abyss (In my biased opinion as the author of course)
Also, criticism is welcome, I'll make sure to read comments and have them in mind. I think the story will be interesting, but I may lack a bit in grammar since it's my first time writing and its not my native language.
Very impressive start for a story. Good and interesting narrative and a very original work overall . Just a few chapters have come out and I already feel invested. I hope you continue to write the story!
Totally not biased author here. I think I'm going to do a a good job. This is my first time writing but I hope you are able to enjoy this story. It is weird, and different from most other works in the site, so I understand if some of you don't like it. I'll be answering some questions you may have: Who is this work for? Fans of adventure, horror and dark fantasy genres I'd probably say. If you like the works i cite in the synopsis you'll probably enjoy the story Will the protagonist be strong? All in due time, just wait and see. He won't start strong, though. He will have to rely on his wits to survive. Will there be romance? Not in the meantime. It is a lonely journey, Will there be action? Yes, the first chapters will be setting the mood of the story so they will be more adventure focused. There will be a fair share of fights though
