Was Beidou satisfied?
Without a doubt, she was very satisfied.
Takumi had provided her with the headquarters she desired, and she was genuinely pleased with the design. It had a strong Liyue aesthetic while also incorporating elements of the original surroundings.
The building was perfect.
"Not bad at all!" Beidou said enthusiastically. "It's decided then. How much?"
The bold Beidou directly asked Takumi for the price.
Hearing her words, Takumi glanced at Ningguang.
"That's something you should discuss with Ningguang. I'm only in charge of the construction."
Hearing this, Ningguang smiled brightly.
"I think we can have a good conversation about it," she said.
Beidou, who had been excited just moments before, suddenly froze.
Damn it!
She was definitely going to be overcharged.
The two of them moved aside and began their intense negotiations.
Meanwhile, Takumi made adjustments to the model. He needed to finalize the house he intended to live in.
Takumi glanced toward the direction of Mingyun Village and Yaoguang Shoal. After pondering for a while, he formulated a plan.
Mingyun Village had great development potential. It would be a waste not to utilize such a beautiful beach. However, Takumi wasn't too keen on living on an isolated island. He had already set his sights on Yaoguang Shoal.
He decided to turn it into a resort.
His idea was to build a manor right next to the Statue of the Seven in Mingyun Village. This location would make traveling much easier.
With that in mind, Takumi began creating the model.
Seeing him work, Klee and the others curiously gathered around.
"Brother Takumi, what are you building?" Klee asked excitedly.
She thought the house looked amazing.
Hearing Klee's question, Takumi smirked.
"This will be my home from now on," he replied. "I can't keep staying at an inn forever, so I've decided to build my own house."
Klee's eyes widened in excitement.
"Brother Takumi's house? Can Klee come over to play?"
She pointed toward Yaoguang Shoal below.
"I can even go fish-blasting there!"
At that moment, she looked incredibly eager.
If Takumi's house was near the Statue of the Seven, she could jump straight from the house, glide down to Yaoguang Shoal, and start blowing up fish!
Takumi chuckled. "Yes, yes, you're welcome anytime."
Hearing this, Klee cheered.
"Alright!"
Takumi's house would be positioned just below the statue, overlooking Yaoguang Shoal, a location with a stunning view.
Keqing also approached, examining the house model with curiosity.
"You're really building your own house here?" she asked.
Takumi nodded. "Of course. There may be cliffs here, but that's not a big issue. With a little modification, it'll be perfect."
He then glanced at Keqing. "Do you want one too? If you're interested, I can build one for you as well."
Takumi was prepared to construct it himself and move in within a few days using the power of the Vision.
Keqing raised an eyebrow. "No need. If you have a house, I'll just stay at yours."
Her response could have been easily misinterpreted, but she said it so naturally that it didn't even cross her mind.
Yaoyao, standing nearby, glanced between Takumi and Keqing, a hint of curiosity flashing in her eyes.
What exactly was the relationship between Brother Takumi and Sister Keqing?
She had been planning to help Sister Ganyu find a boyfriend, but now...
Could it be that Keqing and Brother Takumi were already a couple?
Yaoyao was puzzled. She decided to ask Klee about it later.
Meanwhile, Takumi didn't think too much about it. Keqing had a point—she could simply move in when the time came. That made perfect sense.
With that thought, he continued refining the designs.
It wasn't long before the manor was completed in the model.
Above it stood the statue of Zhongli. Living near the statue felt like having the blessing of the Geo Archon. Takumi figured he could light incense as an offering from time to time.
If he wanted to visit Yaoguang Shoal, he could simply glide down using the wind glider.
He also planned to build rows of villas below his home, facing the sea. Everything was designed around the central statue.
However, the area had a high concentration of Hilichurls.
It was time to clear them out.
Once Takumi finished the housing models, Ningguang and Beidou returned from their discussion.
Beidou's face didn't look too pleased, while Ningguang seemed quite satisfied.
Anyone who saw this could tell that Ningguang had once again managed to take advantage of Beidou in negotiations.
Otherwise, Beidou wouldn't have that expression.
Returning to the model, Beidou examined the houses Takumi had built and thought for a moment.
"This house is nice. Leave one for me."
Then, without any hesitation, she added, "The free kind."
She wasn't joking. Ningguang had taken most of her savings—wasn't a house at least fair compensation?
Takumi was momentarily speechless, while Ningguang chuckled.
"No problem. If you need one, I'll send you a house."
Since she was in charge of selling these properties, giving away a house wasn't an issue.
She also knew about Takumi's plans for Mingyun Village.
In the future, Mingyun Village would be developed into a tourist destination—a vacation hotspot.
Now that the old mines had been exhausted, the once-thriving town had declined. Many former residents had moved to Liyue Harbor to find work.
With development plans in place, some had already started returning to Mingyun Village.
It was clear that these people had foresight.
However, the redevelopment of Mingyun Village would take time. It wasn't something that could happen overnight.
Still, this was a promising start.
After some thought, Ningguang spoke up.
"Leave a house for me as well."
"I'd like to have a place here for when I have free time."
With her reputation, if she owned a house here, it would attract significant attention.
This was precisely her plan—to use her own influence to boost the area's popularity.
She was confident that once people knew she had a house there, many wealthy merchants would be interested in acquiring property as well.
After all, Ningguang's status in Liyue was unmatched.
