Raiden was truly resurrected by Takumi.
Although she hadn't fully recovered yet, she was close. Given a little more time, Takumi would be able to completely restore her. The process itself was relatively simple. While the power of the Herrscher of Death was only half-awakened, the power of life had already awakened, which was enough.
It could be said that she was nearly complete. Her consciousness had been fully restored, and even if she was awakened now, she would not dissipate. However, Takumi wouldn't rush it. He planned to continue repairing her until her soul was fully restored. Then, he would bring her back completely and wake her up.
After a while, Takumi created a new body for Raiden and finally merged her with it. That would mark her complete resurrection.
He wondered how Venti or Zhongli would react upon seeing Raiden's return. They would likely be happy since she was one of their few true friends. Thinking about this, Takumi looked forward to their reactions.
The ship sailed smoothly across the sea. The journey was peaceful, even in bad weather. Takumi could easily resolve any issue. The power of the Windherald allowed him to change the weather effortlessly, simply blowing the clouds away. Thanks to this, Takumi and his group made their way back to Liyue quickly.
The ship gradually entered Guyun Stone Forest. Some fishermen noticed them and waved in greeting. Ei stood on the deck, watching the occasional fishing boats pass by, visibly amazed. The contrast between Inazuma and Liyue was stark.
Nearby, Yoimiya curiously asked about various things, her attention caught by the towering buildings in Guiliyuan. Despite having seen pictures online, witnessing them in person was an entirely different experience. She was in awe.
"Is this Liyue? Amazing!" Yoimiya exclaimed.
Compared to Liyue, Inazuma felt like a rural village.
Beidou's ship slowly docked. Once it came to a stop, Takumi and the others disembarked on their vehicles.
Keqing approached Takumi. "Takumi, I'll arrange for the Electro Crystals to be transported. Just have someone drive them over. You can head back first."
Takumi nodded. "Alright. Then go ahead and take care of that."
He turned to the others. "Ei, Klee, Eula, let's go home. Yoimiya, you can sort out your fireworks here first. When the time comes, Keqing will bring you over."
Yoimiya nodded. She still needed to arrange the delivery of the fireworks to her buyers, so she wouldn't be leaving with them.
With that, Takumi rode his vehicle toward his manor, bringing the others with him. Once he settled them in, he would return to his own affairs.
Meanwhile, Zhongli, who was teaching at the school, glanced toward the harbor.
"Ei? That woman got tricked by Takumi?" he mused before shaking his head and returning to his lesson.
"Class, turn to page 15. Today, we will discuss the history of the Geo Archon, Morax," Zhongli instructed with a straight face.
A group of 8-9-year-old students hurriedly flipped through their books to the page he mentioned. The school was running smoothly, and Zhongli found satisfaction in teaching. The students paid close attention, partially out of respect and partially because Zhongli's presence was naturally imposing. Even young children felt his authority, making them too nervous to misbehave.
Zhongli had come to enjoy teaching. His students were eager to learn, making his job easier. It had nothing to do with the slight aura of majesty he occasionally emitted to keep them quiet. Definitely not.
Meanwhile, Takumi led Ei and the others to his manor. It was empty at the moment.
Takumi turned to Ei. "The fox lives next door. You can stay with her. If you need anything, just come find me."
Ei raised an eyebrow. "I'm staying with you."
She wanted to be nearby when her sister was resurrected. She had no desire to live with that "annoying fox."
"Oh? What did I just hear?" A teasing voice cut in.
Yae Miko sauntered in from outside, smirking. "Ei, are you interested in Takumi?"
Hearing her, Klee and the others greeted Miko enthusiastically. "Big Sister Miko~~!"
Miko smiled warmly at Klee. "Little Klee, long time no see. Did you have fun in Inazuma?"
Seeing Klee's bright, innocent face, Miko couldn't help but feel affectionate. Who wouldn't love such an adorable child?
Ei, however, frowned at Miko. She felt an urge to draw her sword. Maybe she should test her skills against this fox?
Miko blinked at Ei expression and quickly tensed. "You… want to kill me?"
She immediately became wary. There was definitely danger in Ei gaze. No doubt, she wanted to strike her down.
"Damn it!" Miko cursed under her breath, stepping back slightly.
Ei silently looked away, not wanting to be involved.
At that moment, Takumi sighed. "You arrived at the perfect time. Miko, take Ei to your place to rest. Don't worry about her sister—I'll handle it. And Ei, if you need me, you can come anytime."
Ei hesitated before nodding. "Fine."
Miko's ears perked up. "Really? You actually succeeded?" she asked, excitement creeping into her voice.
Was Raiden truly resurrected?
Takumi nodded. "For now, yes. But it will take more time."
He couldn't guarantee complete success just yet, but this much was enough for now.
"Good!" Miko grinned. "Ei, come with me. Don't disturb Takumi. You wouldn't want Raiden's resurrection to fail, would you?"
She threw in a casual threat for good measure.
Ei frowned, feeling both annoyed and resigned. "Good grief…" She sighed and followed Miko.
Miko led Ei back to her residence, intending to learn every detail of what had happened.
The process wasn't complete yet, but they were almost there.
