The situation at the pier was beyond Takumi's expectations.
It had become a fully functional industrial hub, with warehouses now the top choice for many merchants. Jean's decision to construct storage facilities here had proven to be correct. Every warehouse in Mondstadt was now rented out to local merchants.
Eula and Amber were incredibly busy, barely having time to catch their breath.
Takumi and Shenhe observed from a distance, deciding not to interfere. There was no need to disturb their work.
After strolling around for a while, Takumi and Shenhe left.
As they walked, they encountered Klee and her friends riding towards the pier.
Seeing Takumi and Shenhe, Klee's eyes lit up. She eagerly drove her vehicle over.
"Brother Takumi~!"
Takumi looked at her curiously. "Klee, where are you heading?"
Klee grinned. "To the pier~! I'm going to help Sister Amber. They're really busy right now, so I'm going to assist them."
"Brother Takumi, what are you doing here?"
Klee looked up at Takumi with curiosity.
"Just out for a walk," Takumi replied. "Since you're heading there to help, you'd better hurry. We'll get going now."
Takumi didn't want to linger too long, especially not with extra company tagging along.
He hadn't expected Klee to go and help out, but it was good to see.
Klee didn't think much of it. After a short chat, she and her friends set off towards Amber.
Watching them leave, Takumi only hoped they wouldn't cause trouble. Otherwise, things might become even more chaotic for Amber.
Shaking his head, Takumi dismissed the thought and continued walking with Shenhe.
Unconsciously, they found themselves near the school.
Classes were in session.
Takumi decided to take a look inside.
The moment he saw Mona teaching, he was speechless.
She was using divination in class to read the students' minds.
This was certainly one way to teach.
She even occasionally commented on their thoughts, making the students uneasy.
Is this how her teacher had taught her?
Takumi chuckled but didn't interfere.
Moving along, he came across Zhongli's class.
Zhongli had already sensed Takumi's presence, glancing outside briefly before resuming his lecture.
Takumi observed the students. They were all extremely focused.
If Takumi hadn't sensed the intimidating aura Zhongli was subtly emitting, he might've believed they were naturally studious.
Was this a lesson or a form of coercion?
After silently grumbling to himself, Takumi moved on.
Everyone had their own teaching methods. It wasn't his place to interfere.
After visiting various locations in Guiliyuan, Takumi and Shenhe finally returned to the manor by nightfall.
During dinner, the others gradually arrived.
Once they finished eating, and Klee had gone off to wash up, Ei turned to Takumi with a serious expression.
"Takumi, how much longer until my sister wakes up?"
She needed to know.
She had been here for a while now, watching as Takumi infused energy into her sister daily, repairing her soul.
But how much longer would it take?
Hearing Ei question, Takumi pulled out the Musou Isshin.
"Approximately three more days."
"In about three days, your sister will fully recover."
"At that point, I'll create a new body for her and allow her soul to merge with it."
"By the way, does your sister's body match yours exactly, or are there any differences?"
Takumi looked at Ei with curiosity.
His question immediately drew a strange glance from Yae Miko.
Ei tilted her head in thought. "My sister has a mole on her chest."
Takumi sighed. "That's not what I meant."
Yae Miko burst into laughter.
Ei frowned. "Why are you laughing?"
Miko struggled to contain her amusement. "Oh, nothing~!"
"Takumi, if you're asking about her body, why not consult me instead?"
"I know all the details."
"I could even guide you while you make her new body. I know her exact measurements~!"
She winked at Takumi playfully.
Takumi rolled his eyes. "No thanks."
"I'm not that kind of person."
"I'll just use Ei's body as a template. They're twins, after all."
If they were identical twins, there was no need to worry about the finer details.
Tear moles—one on the left, one on the right.
Makoto likely didn't have one at all.
That made sense.
And the mole on the chest… Takumi now understood.
Ei nodded in approval. "That works."
"Please, make sure to bring my sister back!"
Her voice was sincere.
"Leave it to me," Takumi reassured her. "Now that I have the power to resurrect your sister, I won't hold back."
He would see it through to the end.
Yae Miko watched the interaction with an amused expression.
She had previously glanced through Takumi and Ei past conversations.
To be honest, Takumi was quite the trickster.
Yet Ei had fallen for it, completely unaware.
Miko even suspected that one day, Ei would willingly let herself be deceived into Takumi's embrace.
But she kept her thoughts to herself.
If Ei was tricked, then so be it.
Perhaps, for the sake of Inazuma's future, Ei should just marry into Liyue.
Once Makoto was resurrected, Inazuma would have its general again.
Ei? She could just stay in Liyue.
It wasn't like she minded, right?
Of course, Miko dared not voice these thoughts aloud.
If she did, Ei's sword might come crashing down on her.
And she had no doubt that Ei would strike without hesitation.
Even if she could dodge, it was still terrifying to think about.
After confirming the timeline for Makoto's resurrection, Ei left the room, satisfied.
