Takumi looked at Makoto in front of him and then turned to Ei, speaking directly:
"Ei, take Makoto out for a walk. Let her explore and understand the situation here. I have some work to do, but I'll call you later when Zhongli comes to see us tonight."
Hearing Takumi's words, Ei nodded. "Alright."
She had no issue showing her sister around and helping her understand the current era. After all, Makoto had been gone for centuries, and there was much for her to learn.
Thinking of this, Ei felt a small sense of superiority. For once, she was the one guiding her elder sister.
Just as Takumi was about to leave, he suddenly remembered something. "Here, take this." He manifested a Vision and a vehicle, tossing them both to Makoto before turning and walking away.
Makoto caught the items and looked at them in surprise. "A Vision?"
She was puzzled. Why was the Electro Archon's Vision in Takumi's possession?
Yae Miko smirked and explained, "It's not real. Takumi has the ability to replicate such things. Try sensing it."
Hearing Miko's words, Makoto hesitated for a moment before focusing on the Vision. She quickly realized there was no connection to Celestia.
"This…" She was taken aback. What kind of power was this, one that could even duplicate a Vision? It seemed far too outrageous.
Shaking her head, she decided not to overthink it. She fused the Vision with herself, feeling power return to her. But fighting had never been her preference, so she set it aside for now.
Her attention then shifted to the motorcycle Takumi had given her. Seeing her curiosity, Ei stepped forward and began explaining how it worked.
After listening carefully, Makoto nodded in understanding. The technology felt reminiscent of Khaenri'ah's advancements, yet it was not built for war. That was a major difference.
She murmured to herself but didn't dwell on it. Given what she had learned about Takumi, she suspected that even Celestia wouldn't dare interfere with him. If they could, they likely would have done so already.
Makoto, Ei, Yae Miko, and the others began exploring Liyue. After quickly mastering how to ride, Makoto drove through the city, taking in the modernized scenery.
Meanwhile, Takumi headed toward Diona's tavern. With Makoto's resurrection completed, his next task was to see if Qiqi could be healed. Specifically, he wanted to determine what his treatment would do to her.
Would she return to being fully human? Or would she become something closer to an adeptus?
These were two very different outcomes, and if Qiqi reverted entirely to a human state, Takumi wasn't sure whether he should proceed. However, if she remained an immortal being, there would be no issue. He was more inclined toward the latter option.
After all, Qiqi had lived since the Archon War. Although the adepti's intervention had turned her into a zombie, her body had likely already been altered beyond that of a normal human.
To be sure, Takumi needed to study her condition carefully. He couldn't afford to take any risks.
Arriving at the tavern, he found Diona, Klee, and the others already there. The place had no customers at the moment, so they were simply chatting.
Klee, who had been playing with Yaoyao, immediately noticed Takumi's arrival.
"Takumi big brother!" she called out, running toward him excitedly. "Why are you here?"
Yaoyao was also surprised. Takumi rarely visited the tavern, so his sudden appearance piqued everyone's curiosity.
Takumi smiled and looked directly at Qiqi, who returned his gaze with a confused expression.
"Takumi… what's wrong?" Qiqi asked, tilting her head slightly.
Takumi motioned for her to come closer. "Qiqi, let me check something. I want to see if I can heal you."
Everyone in the room was startled.
"Heal Qiqi? Is that even possible?" Diona asked, wide-eyed.
Qiqi herself was taken aback but quickly nodded. "I… want to taste coconut milk again."
That was all the confirmation Takumi needed. "Come here," he said, sitting down as Qiqi approached.
He took her cold, delicate hand in his and channeled his power. A warm energy spread from his fingertips, enveloping Qiqi.
She immediately felt something unusual.
"It's… warm," she murmured, eyes widening in surprise. It wasn't heat, per se—more like the comforting warmth of sunlight.
As Takumi continued to channel his power into Qiqi, he carefully examined her body's condition. He noted the lingering traces of death energy and the celestial energy that had sustained her for centuries.
Then something remarkable happened. Qiqi, who had been sipping on a drink, suddenly stopped.
Her eyes widened even further. "It's… sweet!"
The room fell silent for a moment before Klee gasped.
"Did Qiqi just taste something?!" she exclaimed.
Yaoyao and Diona were just as shocked.
Takumi didn't say anything right away, continuing his work. He now knew for certain—his healing was effective. But there was still too much lingering death energy in Qiqi's body.
This was exactly what he needed.
Takumi's Herrscher of Death core resonated with the energy within Qiqi. He began absorbing the excess death energy from her body, and as he did, he felt another transformation within himself.
The Herrscher of Death's power was now fully awakened.
But that wasn't all. As the process continued, another energy stirred within him.
The Herrscher of Knowledge had also awakened.
