Takumi began extracting the Honkai energy from Himeko.
He directly used the power of the Herrscher of Death—Wither—to decompose the Honkai corruption within her body. Then, he extracted it with the power of the Herrscher of Knowledge.
The Herrscher of Death's power was not only capable of disintegrating flesh but could also break down everything completely. This ability was further enhanced through Takumi's Herrscher of Reason abilities, allowing him to deduce and master multiple powers without the need for direct experience.
With the assistance of his abilities, Takumi was able to accomplish things that would otherwise be impossible. The power of the Herrscher of Reason had become the core of his strength.
A deep purple energy continuously seeped out of Himeko's body, drawn into Takumi's hands. Without hesitation, he absorbed it.
The sight stunned everyone present.
"Takumi?" Keqing's voice held a hint of wariness. "What are you doing?"
Hearing her concern, Takumi calmly explained.
"I need to remove all the corrupted energy from her body. If I don't, she will die. Besides, this energy is useful to me. Don't worry. Contact Ganyu and check on her condition."
With that, he continued his work.
The Honkai energy within Himeko's body was steadily being drawn out. The glowing lines covering her skin gradually faded away.
Hearing Takumi's explanation, Keqing felt reassured.
"Alright."
Since Takumi said it was fine, she trusted him.
She stepped outside to call Ganyu.
Meanwhile, Takumi intensified his efforts, completely draining the Honkai energy from Himeko.
The cores within Takumi's body devoured the extracted energy eagerly. At some point, he no longer even needed the power of the Herrscher of Death—his own body's cores were absorbing the energy automatically.
Simultaneously, the elemental power within Takumi started to shift, slowly converting into Honkai energy.
Just as he was deeply engrossed in the process, Himeko suddenly reacted.
"Pfft!"
Himeko suddenly sat up and coughed up a mouthful of blood.
The sight startled Klee and the others, who quickly retreated in shock.
"Is she… a zombie?" Qiqi asked nervously, reaching for her talisman.
She thought Himeko was undergoing some kind of undead transformation and quickly tore the talisman from her forehead, ready to use it on her.
Seeing this, Takumi rolled his eyes.
"She's fine. Put your talisman away."
"But she keeps spitting blood!" Klee exclaimed, looking panicked.
As Takumi spoke, Himeko coughed up more blood, splattering it onto the floor.
Klee and the others were horrified and instinctively hid behind Ei.
"Is she really alright?" Shenhe asked with concern. "She's losing so much blood."
Takumi shook his head. "This is normal. It's part of the purification process."
Detoxification required expelling the corrupted blood. This was expected.
Under everyone's stunned gazes, Himeko continued coughing up more and more blood, until the entire room smelled of iron.
"Ugh… It really does look like a river of blood," Sayu muttered, scrunching her nose at the sight.
However, they also noticed that Himeko's complexion was gradually improving.
Takumi turned to Klee. "Call Noelle. I'll need her help later."
Himeko would still require care. Noelle, who was currently assisting Eula, could be summoned back for this.
Klee immediately took out her phone and called Noelle.
Meanwhile, Keqing returned.
"I spoke to Ganyu. She's fine, just exhausted. She'll return soon."
She then glanced at the room and was completely stunned.
Blood. Blood everywhere.
"What the…?" Keqing was at a loss for words. "I was gone for a short while, and now the entire floor is covered in blood?!"
She was in disbelief.
"Did she really spit up all this blood and survive?"
Keqing was utterly amazed.
No, wait. She was a woman. This much blood loss was… normal, right?
She quickly dismissed the odd thought and turned her attention back to the situation.
Takumi had successfully removed all Honkai corruption from Himeko's body. Her internal organs had also healed.
Otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to expel so much blood.
In addition, Takumi had purged all the remaining toxic blood within her.
Essentially, Himeko had undergone a full-body reconstruction.
Otherwise, the corrosion couldn't have been reversed.
Even her consciousness had been restored using the power of the Herrscher of Knowledge.
She was lucky that Takumi had found her.
Otherwise, she would have been doomed.
That being said, Takumi still had questions.
How did Himeko end up in Teyvat?
That part puzzled him.
Had she been sent here by someone?
Was she thrown into the Sea of Quanta and ended up drifting to this world?
Takumi furrowed his brows.
It was an interesting mystery.
But for now, he set it aside.
First, he needed to finish healing her.
With that in mind, Takumi focused entirely on completing her treatment.
After expending a considerable amount of energy, he finally completed his task.
Checking Himeko's condition, Takumi nodded in satisfaction.
She would be fine now.
The only thing left was to wait for her to wake up.
Takumi didn't rush it.
Her spirit was still incredibly weak.
Though she was now out of danger, she would likely remain unconscious for a few more days.
And even after waking up, it would take some time for her to fully recover.
As for her strength, Takumi had a plan.
For now, she would have to rely on elemental power.
Honkai energy had no place in Teyvat, aside from within Takumi himself.
If needed, he could help her regain it later.
But for now, he wouldn't let her access Honkai energy again.
It was better for her to use elemental power instead.
"Is she okay now?" Klee asked, stepping forward hesitantly.
She looked at Himeko with concern.
Klee was always kind-hearted, even if she was a little mischievous.
