Chapter 9: As Salman

It's been quite a time I have been Salman. I

t's been 5 years to think of it.

I can move and talk but not that fluently.

All these years of mine I was mostly locked up in the mansion and only place where I can go only with Deo or Antony is that garden behind the green house. That grandparents of mine actually are not so bad, after all they usually visit me and gave me different kinds of sweets.

Come to think of it after 5 week it's my birthday my 6th birthday.

All 5 birthday of mine was dull. Like believe me neither duke nor duchess came to my birthday and they only sent servants to give me dress, sweets and all kinds of thing which of course I DON'T WANT.

I have been thinking that in THIS birthday I WOULD no matter what make that doke and duchess celebrate with me.

In these 5 years I got to know an important and useful thing that Duke and Duchess LOVE CUTE THINGS and guess what I AM CUTE.

Of course, don't underestimate the power of kids.

I just need to make puppy eyes, and as for Deo and Antony no need of them in MY party anyways.

Just as I was sipping the tea, duke sat on that opposite chair.

What??

No notice, no sound, nothing like nothing.

What should I do spite my tea??! Duke out of no where sound sweet and gentle while asking

"What birthday gift do you want?"

Hello sir, all these years where were you? Now out of no where asking what birthday gift I WANT?? When the hell did you ever considered my opinion of 5 means 5 years. Was I dead?? And when the hell do you even come to my birthday.

I stopped thinking and knowing that if I paused too long, he could change his mind said

"I WANT YOU TO BE PRESENT IN MY BIRTHDAY PARTY".

Duke's eyes tender a moment ago turned dark as he asked

"WHAT?"

I repeated

"I WANT YOU TO BE PRESENT IN MY BIRTHDAY PARTY."

Duke's eyes darkening further asked

"why??"

I sighed and said

"Do you know there are rumours among staff that I'm not you real daughter because you not even once came to my birthday party and wished me happy birthday."

Duke's eyes widen in disbelief. He quickly composed him-self and asked

"Okay if I come what will you give me in return?"

Ahh… Duke is bad ….as always… what the hell do you mean what will you give me return. Are we doing some sort of trade or something. I but know what actually to do.

I closed my eyes and leaned to plant a soft kiss in duke's cheek's.

you can see his eyes burning with red. I know this little trick; I learned it from my niece. She literally used this trick every time she wanted a thing from any one even I despite knowing her trick fall for her charm. Duke off guard said

"Okay…. I…I…will come"

he rushed out of the room only to know duchess who saw whole scene wanted a kiss.

Amm...

I will not… AGAIN…. I have my dignity even though these people know that I'm older than these, they have no shame literally have no shame to ask for this. Bro I'm cooked, I'm cooked. I should have not used this.

AAAAAA!!!

Just as I was going to ran off.

Deo came at least this once a perfect time. I bet this was his first and last good deed he have done in his whole life. Because Deo was there, duchess and duke was force to composed them self. Duke with an icy look said

"Deo start."

Deo started explaining

"Sister, I'm here to explain to you that. Once you will become ten, we are decided to tell public that you are PRINCESS of Hastin family. You can officially go out of the mansion on permission of duke and duchess. From than on you will also attend basic classes. You can see all the secrete places of Hastin family. And…"

Deo's voice became more bitter as he added

"you will get the allowance of 100 gold coins each week."

I looked at duchess and duke sitting in chair sipping tea.

I ran straight towards them and planted a kiss on duchess's cheek and another on Duke's.

Deo seemed surprised and IT WAS indeed quite a revolution for him after all even he the eldest child didn't get to do it.

I know that this kiss was worth them.

100 gold coin each month think about it. In this world 1 gold coin is equal to 100 silver coins, and with just 10 gold coins you can buy a company. Only I know, that if I want a company, I can just buy 10 of them.

While duchess and duke were gushing over the kiss.

Deo left with blank brain still processing what happen.

Just the moment after Deo left duke and duchess also decided to leave. They left with smiles on their face.
