Chapter 15: Meeting him…

I opened my eyes after a good night sleep. Rosine was there standing. I stretched my arms and turned to Rosine; she was wearing a serious face which was unlike of her. I was looking at the sky through the window when I noticed that the sun was setting. I turned to Rosine again and asked "What the time?"

Rosine replied

"It evening, young miss."

Evening?? How much have I slept.

I jumped out of the bed and started my daily tasks. I was still dressing up when on of the maids that usually pour tea and attend to Deo came. She lowered her head and said

"Young master, young duke Deo has called you to his study."

I nodded. I was escorted by the maid when I noticed a person leaning towards the one of the windows. The person's face was not visible. I stopped, noticing me the maid also stopped and followed my gaze toward the person. She seems to recognize the person and said

"Oh!! Young master, this a guest from the median city here to see young duke."

I was confused how can there be a person that I don't know while it was related to my family. I reached out and tapped the person in the shoulder. He seems to woke up. He gave a quick shot at me and tried to return to sleep when he suddenly turned and recognize me. He bowed and said

"Hello, young master, I'm count frite. I was here to report on the Median city."

I nodded. I then introduce myself

"Nice to meet you lord frite, I'm third son of duke Hastin, Salman Hastin."

I asked him quickly changing my tone into serious

"Lord frite, what is really happening in the median city?"

The man himself was a person who looked like someone who had many scandals and is a playboy. He smiled and said in a melodramatic tone

"Young master doesn't need to worry about these kinds of things. It is the matter that adult should look after."

I shot a cold gaze and didn't utter a word while walking away. I entered Deo's study. He was looking at some document with a stern look. I greeted him. His gaze softens a thousand times when he sees me. He jumped and run towards me as he said

"Salman, I need you to do something."

I was not getting good vibes and asked

"What SOMETHINGS?" Deo's smile faltered as he said "Umm… You know, there is a problem in Median city." I shot back

"What's the problem."

I was knowing that if it's related to Median city it should mean something important. Deo forcibly made me sit in the sofa and made me drink the tea. Then, he pulled out some document from the dour. He explained

"You know, mother has gone to the median city with the food supports but the report has come that we are short on the magic stones. But, even in the main mansion there are not more than 6 boxes of magic stone. The next trade ship would come after 4 months due to some delays."

Magic stone are gemstones that are usually used in crafting a sward so the owner of the sward can use magic. If we are short of the magic stone it could arise a huge problem in the time of war. Then, it clicked, I said

"If we request duke of south to trade with us, we could be at the ease. South is the place were most of the magic stone supply come from."

"But,"

Deo said

"The magic stone supply that north use is usually from the foreign country, it is different from the south."

It is really a problem but not for me as, in the novel there was solution to this. If anyone go and found the Dullinater flower and make a potion out of it and when you apply it in the magic stone from south which is attached to the sward, you can make the energy released by the magic stone similar to the one found in the foreign country. But there is a problem Dullinater flower IS RARE!! In the novel it was easy to find because it literally grew in the male lead's garden. Where the garden was??IN THE MOUNTAIN!!! Who the hell would go there in that bloody mountain where only the crazy monks go. I sighed and explained

"Deo, there is a solution to this. Do you know Dullinater flower?"

Deo nodded and I continued

"If we make a potion out of Dullinater flower and apply it on the magic stones produced in the south we could make the magic released by south magic stones similar to magic stones of the foreign country. The flowers are super rare but even if it's just 10 flower we could apply it of at least 100 boxes of magic stones."

Deo sighed and hugged me as he said

"Sister you are a serious saviour of the Hastin duchy. No worry rest this big brother will take care."

I pulled him away and asked

"But how the hell are going to obtain Dullinater flowers?"

Deo looked confused as he said

"Don't you know that there is a garden of Dullinater flower in Eastern duchy."

I WAS SURPRISED

"How?? In the novel there were no other garden other than in the mountain?" Deo explained

"You're right there are no garden other than in the mountain. The garden is placed in a mountain."

I was terrified how?? Why?? Did this mean that the male lead is from Eastern duchy??? Deo continued saying

"The garden is a sacred place for the temple, but lately there are rumours that the eastern duchy is selling the garden to a monk in a high prize. We first need to stop that negotiation otherwise getting the Dullinater flower will be equal to no. Salman, why don't you go to eastern duchy? You see, Antony will try to get hands on the magic stones of the south, While I have to manage the situation of the war in Median city."

I nodded but, actually Deo and Antony are the Algine users than why can't they produce the Dullinater flower with their magic. Deo seems to read my mind and answered

"You know, we are still 17 and 15 years old using Algine magic for creating rare items will consume our life span. Also, not everything is to be done by Algine magic."

I nodded and started walking towards the door when lord frite came in. He bowed and greeted Deo. Deo was in a bad mood at seeing lord frite for some reason. I ignored the bad vibes and walked past Lord frite.
