Gori Nuclear Power Plant (3) 

The "Alpha Squad" belonging to the Gori Nuclear Headquarters wasn't part of the military. It was a group made up solely of "awakened" individuals-people with supernatural abilities. 

Their main mission was to exterminate monsters around the power plant. 

Right now, they were engaged in urban warfare against goblins. 

"They're heading that way!"

Standing in the path of the fleeing goblins was a man wielding an axe.

The wounded goblins bared their teeth in an attempt to intimidate him.

When their bluff didn't work, the goblins hesitated briefly. 

But this was a narrow alleyway, and they had no other route to escape. 

Left with no choice, they charged at the man, aiming for his legs.

The head of the first goblin flying forward was cleanly severed.

A single swing from the axe decapitated the remaining goblin, ending the fight.

The man with the axe chuckled, shaking the blood off his weapon.

"Nothing? That was impressive!"

'This guy's no ordinary rookie.' 

In fact, the two goblins had been intentionally let loose. 

That was only natural.

"The goblins! They're swarming us!"

Seo Joo-won quickly stuck his head out of the building and used his telekinetic powers, immediately realizing that the goblins were converging on their location. 

"Damn it!"

"Emergency! Everyone, regroup!"

The reason goblins in the city were so dangerous was because they were intelligent enough to use human tools.

The nuclear power plant was running much better than we had worried. 

The electricity from the nearby solar power facility and the nuclear plant was enough for complete self-sufficiency, and they even had emergency power-nothing was lacking. 

But electricity alone couldn't solve everything.
