The Breaking Point

The day Mia had been waiting for finally arrived—her first official meeting with Eclipse. The band shared glances, and the question hung in the air. "Are you a fan?" one of them, the band leader, probed, curiosity lighting up his features. Just then, she noticed two members signaling for her to shake her head, their expressions serious. They could never hire someone who was a fan; it went against the rules of the agency. 

Taking a breath, Mia replied, "No." Her heart raced as she spoke those words, understanding the weight they carried. 

The atmosphere shifted as the director explained the stringent rules for the team. She listened intently, understanding how crucial it was for her to adhere to them. "You are here to manage and protect the band. This means no dating any of the members, no fostering personal feelings. You need to maintain professionalism at all times," he instructed, locking eyes with her in a serious manner.
