"Nothing."
The whole dining fell into another round of silence. As they all tilted their heads towards Max in surprise.
The Matriarch revealed a calm expression, interest appearing in the depth of her eyes.
Whilst Max neutrally met their gaze.
After a few more moments, everyone seemed to realize he wasn't joking or trying to put up a front. A hint of ridicule appeared in most of them eyes thinking he was ignorant of their grandmother's identity.
"Hmm, you can think about it later and get back to me."
Nudging the edge of her lips with a napkin, she calmly placed it and revealed a slight smile.
"Hmm." Max replied with a curt nod.
Naturally his cold despondent attracted the irk of the other male youths but never seemed to care.
The Matriarch turned to Evelyn, smiling with motherly grace, the rest of her grandchildren were forced into another round of shock.
"You should come see me later Evelyn."
