Chapter 11:Are you Gay
Katherine smiled.
What a stupid question.
"I'm here for a job Ian"
She said, her voice laced with sarcasm.
Everybody who heard it paused.
She dared talk to the boss like that?
Even the governor doesn't talk like that but this lady..... beautiful? yeah but she's a goner.
Ian heard her but he didn't see it as anything. The only thing on his mind was that gentle smile and that word
"You're cute".
"follow me" Ian said
"huh?"
"I said follow me" Ian was getting annoyed.
Every body. "..."
Isn't boss suppose to kick her out and make her pay like he always does.
"To where?"
"No questions. just follow me"
Ian didn't want her to stay here anymore especially the fact that Valerie is still looking at her.
"okay "
Then the assistant said
"Boss you have a meeting at 12:30 with Mr Hamilton"
"Cancel it "
"But it's very important" He tried to protest but Ian cast him one look and he said
"Consider it cancelled sir"
What sort siren had possessed his workaholic boss?
Ian grabbed Katherine hand and she froze.
He took her into the car and got into the driver seat banging the door on Malcolm his assistant.
Malcom
"..."
Not again.
In the car nobody said anything until...
"I think God wants us to meet"
"Are you gay?"
Both of them chorused
"What?" Katherine was dumbfounded
"Ariana" Ian looked at her for a long time and said
"Are you gay?"
"What?!"
Katherine was shocked
What sort of question is that?"
She asked lifting up one corner of her lips.
She felt amused.
Is he jealous?
and Katherine found it amusing. Really.
Who in the world gets jealous like this.
Is he jealous?
She had been in a lot of relationships and knows the reaction and can read many boys minds.
"You called a girl cute and smiled at her."
"So?"
"Isn't that flirting?"
"Ian its not flirting. It's called being nice and speaking your mind"
Ian voice had become really cold
"So you smile to everyone you come across to?"
"Yes?"
Katherine drawled the 'es' and Ian brows furrowed.
then Katherine added
"But n-"
She couldn't continue as Ian cut her short
"Its not good to smile at people you don't know"
Ian couldn't imagine Katherine smiling at everyone meets.
"Why?" Katherine was a little annoyed by his behavior.
"people who see this will think you are mentally ill" Ian said seriously.
Katherine was now perplexed.
She rubbed in-between her brows, looking like a mother whose child was telling her what happened in school but she isn't getting any as the child was incoherent.
"How does smiling to people relate to Mentally ill"
"It does" Ian said
"okay then. prove it"
Ian frowned even more as Katherine didn't believe his words.
"Okay".
At this point the vehicle had been put to rest.
Ian opened his phone and clicked on Google.
He searched what are symptoms of someone who is mentally ill and Google brought out many symptoms.
"Look"
Ian gave Katherine his phone as she saw smiling and laughing at everyone and everything.
Katherine was Speechless.
