"Where are you heading?" Ian asked assessing Sean from head to toe.

Sean didn't answer but simply raised a brow meaning

"Outside" and Ian moved from the entrance and he entered.

Sean noticed the frame on the bed and went to pick it up to have a look at it but Ian picked it up faster than him. He put the frame back into the drawer and locked it with a key.

( What an obvious question * eyeroll*)

"I mean who who's the person in the frame"

"None of your business" Ian looked at him coldly.

"I want us to go out, it's been a long while since we hung out, you know, have some drinks with some chicken or go on a long drive"

"I'm busy, I need to pick up Katherine " Ian said casually but his sharp eyes were locked on Sean face.

As expected, Sean's expression froze and his mood plummeted before he quickly became expressionless.

"Why?, what do you have with my ex" Sean emphasised the EX word.

"I told Father I would bring my wife to meet him" Ian said as he headed for the bathroom.

Sean looked at him in shock but before his lips moved , Ian closed the bathroom door. Sean fists tightened and his veins twitched, his eyes became terrifying and he sat on the bed. He closed his eyes and when he opened them, it was normal.

Ian came out of the bathroom with a towel tied around his waist and still met Sean seated on his bed, playing games.

Ian ignored him and went into the walk in closet.

"I'll go with you to pick up sister-in-law " Sean said as Ian almost closed the closet door expecting Ian to freeze but Ian merely hummed and closed the door.

Sean gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on his phone.

Kendra grumbled and covered her face and faced the other side.

"Come on Kendra, it's time for school, Mu'ai academy don't accept lateness"

"Wake brother first, he's the elder one" Kendra grumbled still facing the other side.

Katherine froze and her face became gloomy. She swallowed her spit before clearing her throat and said

"Have yog forgotten that he isn't around" Katherine said her voice dropping.

Kendra turned sharply and removed the blanket from her face.

"Oh, I forgot, sorry for not standing up" She said her face revealing a hint of sadness.

"Sister Kathy, can I talk to him today?"

"I don't know, maybe when yoy come back from school, alright?" Katherine said hugging Kendra and kissed her hair.

"I'm sorry Kendra, I wish I could tell you the whole truth but I just can't. The feeling of the lying is suffocating me, even if I bring out My heart as an apology, it won't still be enough, because of me..." Katherine snapped out of her thoughts and released her hold on Kendra
