Awakening of the Chosen

In a small peaceful village named Swinford in the verdant valleys, there resided a humble man named Adam. He loved to explore forests and learn about the wildlife, he lived a contented life surrounded by loved ones

One day while exploring he found an ancient forest he had never seen before, so Adam wanted to explore a bit cus he wanted to know where this forest came from until he stumbled upon a mysterious object, it looked beautiful with black metal surrounding with a golden diamond gem glowing he got curious so he grabbed it.

It began to glow brighter (Adam's eyes began to close on how bright it was) until once he opened his eyes everything around him looked like a clean serenaded castle he saw a man with white hair wearing a black blindfold sitting on a white throne then Adam asked, where am i? You are in my throne room," the man replied. "I am Luros, God of Omnipotence. If you have found my ring, it means you have been chosen to become one of the next gods of this world." His tone was filled with enthusiasm.

Adam's eyes widened in disbelief. "But I don't deserve this… This is too much for me. And my mom she needs my help. I can't just abandon her," he said, his voice filled with concern.

(Luros chuckled softly). "Rarely does anyone even see my ring unless their heart is the brightest and kindest. It chose you because you are worthy to inherit my power."

(Adam shook his head), "but my mom… She can't pay her taxes alone. I just can't leave her like that."

(Luros smiled reassuringly). "Do not worry. You will still be able to see her, but under one condition you must live here."

(Adam took a deep breath, processing everything). "I understand… But what do I need to do? First, you'll need to learn how to use your abilities so you can control them," Luros explained. "If left unchecked, they could easily get out of hand."

(Adam hesitated). "So… I'm really the new god of this world?"

(Luros nodded). "Yes, and not only that you will have control over everything."

(Adam exhaled sharply). "That's… a lot to process, Luros."

(Luros chuckled). "I know. But even if I didn't want the ring to choose you, it already has. It won't change its mind. But don't worry you'll get used to it in no time." He patted Adam on the back.

(Adam sighed). "That didn't really help."

(For a moment, silence filled the room. Then, Luros suddenly clapped his hands.) "Welp, let me show you where you'll be staying."

"That would be good to know," (Adam replied.)

"Follow me," (Luros said, leading the way.)

(Luros guided Adam to his new room). It was incredibly spacious, with a breathtaking view.

(Adam's eyes widened). "Wow, this view is amazing!"

(Luros smirked). "Thank you. I made it myself."

(Adam turned to him confused). "Wait… but how did you make the outside look different?"

(Luros chuckled). "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, huh? Well, my power allows me to create anything I want, anytime, anywhere. For example, if you were tired and needed a better pillow, you could just make one out of thin air. But if you have something more specific in mind like the room I made for you you can shape it exactly how you want.

Okay, so I can create things… but what else can I do?" (Adam asked).

(Luros smirked). "That's something you'll have to figure out for yourself. But for now, just focus on getting used to your abilities."

(Adam nodded slowly). "Alright… but what about my mom? She's going to wonder where I am."

(Luros crossed his arms). "I told you, you'll still be able to see her but you won't be able to live with her anymore. However, since you just got here, I'll allow you to visit her one last time before you officially take your place here."

(Adam sighed in relief). "Alright… I'd like that."

With a wave of his hand, Luros transported Adam back to his village.

"Hey, Adam, you're finally back!" his mother said, smiling as she spotted him.

(Adam quickly thought of an excuse). "Yeah, I just went for a walk and found some pigs along the way, so I brought them back. We can have them for lunch later."

(His mother beamed). "Oh, they're lovely! Good job, sweetie."

Meanwhile, back at the castle…

(Luros summoned a chair and lounged back, letting out a bored sigh). "Ugh, what should I do?.."

(After a moment, an idea struck him). "I got it! Let's see what Adam is up to." (Said Luros)

He waved his hand, summoning a floating screen in front of him. As the image of Adam and his mother appeared, (Luros raised an eyebrow and smirked). "Huh… she's good looking." (He giggles while enjoying the view)

Back in the village…

Adam and his mother sat together, chatting about their day while waiting for the food to finish cooking. It was nice spending time with her, but as the evening wore on, fatigue settled in. Eventually, Adam yawned and stretched.

"I think I'm gonna head to bed, Mom." (Said Adam)

His mother nodded warmly. "Alright, sleep well, dear."

As Adam lay down, he couldn't help but think about everything that had happened. His normal life had just changed forever… and tomorrow, he would step into a world of gods.

The next day, Adam woke up, got ready for the day, and headed to the kitchen for breakfast. After eating, he decided to return to the mysterious forest to explore some more.

As he wandered through the dense trees, something caught his eye a majestic white owl perched on a low hanging branch. Its feathers shimmered in the soft morning light.

"Wow… what an amazing owl," (Adam murmured in awe). He slowly approached, offering it some berries he had gathered. To his surprise, the owl didn't fly away. Instead, it hopped closer, nibbling at the fruit.

(A small smile formed on Adam's lips). "I think I'll name you… Berrington."

The owl tilted its head, as if acknowledging its new name.

Excited about his new companion, Adam carefully carried Berrington back home to show his mother.

"Hey, Mom! Look what I found!" he said as he stepped inside.

His mother turned to see the owl perched on his arm. "Wow, that's a beautiful owl! What are you going to do with it?"

(Adam gently stroked Berrington's soft feathers). "I'm going to keep him as a pet. I already named him Berrington. I think he stuck around because I kept feeding him berries."

His mother chuckled. "That's adorable."

Meanwhile, back at the castle…

Luros was still lounging in his throne, bored out of his mind. While rolling all over the floor, with nothing else to do, he decided to check on Adam.

Summoning his floating screen once again, he watched as Adam interacted with his new owl. Luros raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"Holy moly… I haven't seen one of those in ages," he muttered.

After thinking for a moment, an idea popped into his head. Maybe he could make things more interesting. (With a smirk, Luros conjured a small parchment), quickly jotting down a note before sending it off to Adam.

Back in the village, Adam noticed a small glowing paper materializing on his desk. Curious, he picked it up and unfolded it.

The note read:

"When are you coming back? I still need to teach you, you know." (With a small annoyed face in the corner of the note)

(Adam sighed), tapping his fingers against the desk. He knew he had to return eventually… but for now, he decided to wait a little longer.

With that thought, he set the note aside and continued on his way.

Luros was getting annoyed and was losing patience just sitting alone, so he teleported to Adam's house by snapping his finger and stood in front of the door, arms crossed, a serious look on his face. "Adam, it's time. You need to come back with me now."

(Adam opened the door and looked at him, scratching the back of his head with a nervous laugh). "Oh, uh… that… yeah, I saw your note! But, um, I was hoping I could stay just a little longer…" He chuckled awkwardly, clearly unsure of how to explain himself.

(Luros raised an eyebrow), his voice firm but with a hint of disbelief. "You saw my note, and you still decided to stay longer? Did you really think I'd just let you get away with it?" He paused, then added, "You know why you need to come back, right? We still have to continue your training so you can fully master my power."

(Adam's smile faded as he let out a sigh), clearly reluctant to leave. "I understand… I just… I don't want to leave my mom yet. She still needs me…" (His voice trailed off as he hesitated, glancing back at his house one last time). He was torn between his new life and the family he felt responsible for.

(Luros softened a bit, seeing Adam's hesitation. He stepped closer and put a hand on his shoulder). "I get it, Adam. I know it's hard. But this training is important. We need to get you ready, and it's not something that can wait." He then added, after a brief pause, "But I understand how you feel. So I'll make an exception. You'll be able to visit whenever you need to. How does that sound?"

(Adam's expression brightened, and he nodded eagerly). "You mean it? I can really visit? That would be great!"

(Luros smiled slightly and gave a small nod). "Of course. Now, let's not waste any more time. We've got work to do." With a snap of his fingers, he teleported them both back to the castle. And after arriving Ludos pulled a feather from his owl which made the owl jump, Anyways let me show you some small tricks to help you start learning how to control your ability. First, try making a piece of gold from a feather. It should be easier than the others because a feather is easy to change. Just think about a small ball of gold and focus on nothing else that you want to change.

(Adam tries to focus on what he wants to change), but he keeps failing and after trying over and over, almost an hour has passed until he finally creates a decent ball of gold. (Adam begins to laugh) Haha, I did it!

"Good job! You took so long, I fell asleep for a bit!" (claps hands) (said Luros)

"Now let's try something else. Try turning that ball of gold into an apple. It should be a bit harder to focus."

Little by little, the gold began to take shape into an apple. Adam couldn't believe he actually did it, and he jumped for joy! "I DID IT!!"

Then Adam noticed that Luros was asleep and got annoyed. Adam threw the apple at him. (Luros jumps and grabs his head in pain, confused)

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" (Luros yelled).

"YOU FELL ASLEEP" (Adam shouted)

"Im sorry ok?!" (Luros hugged Adam while rubbing his head)

"Anyways, I think it's time for you to rest." (said Luros while wacking him in the back of his head)

Luros creates a door from his place back to Adam's mom's place. You'll be able to go to your room, And! Visit her anytime you want!(He smiles while poking Adam)

"Oh, okay. Thanks! and please stop" (said Adam)

"Ok ok!, oh and can I talk to your mom sometime?" (asked Luros)

(Glares at him from far), what do you want to tell her is the real question?" (asked Adam)

"I just want to talk, that's all!" (Laughs all nervously)

The next day, Adam wakes up from a very nice sleep and begins to get ready to start training again. When he walks out of his room...

(Luros screams) "GOOD MORNING!!" (Wacks him on the head)

Adam is startled and jumps a little, but Luros doesn't notice and continues to lean on the wall, smiling. (After Adam gets over his scare, he walks up to Luros to slap him in the face), but before he could, Luros quickly ducks his head and blocks it.

"Gotcha!" (Luros said in a smug tone).

Adam decides to give up and walks away to get ready. (Luros lets out a chuckle and runs after him). Once Adam is done, he goes to check on his mom. But before he does, he notices a royal knight from the kingdom asking the villagers for money to pay the king's rent.

The villager complains that they can't pay the rent right now and will need a bit more time, but the knight doesn't care and starts to get violent.

Luros is confused and asks Adam, "Who's that?" (While swinging around on the Tree branch)

"Those are people from the kingdom. They always come to collect the taxes from the villagers. If we don't have the money, they'll destroy our village. Those are the rules," Adam says. "They're royal, and we're not. If we don't pay, we'll be killed, kicked out, or worse."

"So, they're basically the bad guys you can't touch, huh?" (Said Luros)

"Yeah, basically. But I've met some who were kind, so it really depends on who it is," (Adam replies).

Then Adam gets an idea. He remembers how to make gold, so he quietly goes to the back, grabs a bucket, fills it with rocks, and begins turning the rocks into gold slowly.

"What are you doing?"(Luros asks).

"If I give them this much, they'll leave us alone for a while," (Said adam)

(Once Adam is finished, he goes to talk to the knight.)

"Excuse me, sir, I have a bucket of gold I worked really hard to find in the river these past few years. Will this be enough?"

(Said Adam)

The royal knight was confused about who this young man was, but then he cleared his throat and said, "Guards! Inspect that bucket to check if it's real gold!"

"Yes, sir!!" the guards responded.

"I, ALEXAVIER, WILL NOT BE LIED TO!! There's no way a disgusting commoner like you worked hard for this gold! But if it's fake, then I will have your head for embarrassing me!"

After the guards finished their inspection, they stood up and told Alexavier that the gold was real.

Alexavier felt annoyed and drew his sword. Just as he was about to stab Adam, a man stopped his blade with his own sword and told him to back off.

Alexavier didn't know who the man was, but he didn't want to get involved any longer, so he decided to leave.

"You won't see the last of me, you disgusting Animals. I'll come back, just you wait!" he sneered before storming off.

"Who are you?" (asked Adam).

"Oh, me? My name is Arthur. I saw the commotion and came as fast as I could. I couldn't just stand there and watch someone get murdered," (said Arthur)

"I didn't expect someone to come help us, though," (Adam admitted).

"Well, that guy is an asshole and a pig, so he needed a good punch in the face!" (Arthur said while punching his hand).

(Adam laughed at him). "How did you know he was here, though? Did you follow him from the kingdom?"

"Nope, I live close by, but I had to go get some wood. Then I saw him grinning in an evil manner, so I started following them from a distance to see what they were up to. And that's how I ended up here," (Arthur explained).

So, you're new in town?" (Asked Adam).

"Yeah, I just moved here a few weeks ago from the kingdom. I saw an empty cabin, so I decided to stay there, and it's actually a pretty cozy place," (Said Arthur).

"Oh, cool. Well, thanks for helping us. I think it's about time I got going," (Said Adam).

"No problem! I hope we meet again,"(Said Arthur).

Luros was sitting by a tree, waiting for Adam to finish, while wondering who that man was.

Just as Adam was about to leave, Arthur suddenly remembered something he was curious about.

"Hey, wait! There's something I wanted to ask you," (Said Arthur).

"Oh? What is it?" (Asked Adam).

"How did you make that gold? Before I got here, I saw you in the back, changing those rocks into gold. It was the same color as the real thing!" (Asked Arthur).

Adam's heart skipped a beat, but he quickly forced a nervous laugh. "Oh, that? Well, i uh... I found a secret stash of gold nuggets a while ago, but they were really dirty and covered in mud. I was just, uh... cleaning them up to make them look better," (said Adam, scratching the back of his head).

Arthur narrowed his eyes slightly, clearly not fully convinced. "Huh… I see," (Said Arthur).

(Adam kept a straight face, hoping Arthur wouldn't press further). After a moment, Arthur just shrugged. "Well, I guess that makes sense. Adam, I understand that we just met, but if you ever need help with anything, just let me know. See ya!" said Arthur before walking off.

Adam let out a relieved sigh until his mother suddenly hugged him tightly.

"You had me so worried!! Where did you get all that gold??" (asked his mother).

Adam looked at his mom and said, "I was secretly finding gold in the river for years, and I was going to save it for us… but sadly, I had to give it away," (Said Adam).

His mother was just glad he was safe. Hugging him again, "I'm just glad you're safe now," (said his mother).

Luros had been watching the whole time and said, "He seems trustworthy, but something about him feels off. I need to be more cautious around him." (Said Luros)

Back at the castle, Luros sat reading a book while eating fruit, but his thoughts kept circling back to Arthur. "I don't fully trust that guy… There's something strange about him. I'll have to keep a closer eye on him, just to make sure he's not a problem." (Said Luros)

Meanwhile, back at the village, Arthur was wandering through the woods when he stumbled upon a small hole. Peering inside, he spotted a rabbit.

Arthur thought to himself, "I could sell it… or maybe keep it. Then again, it'd make a nice stew." But just as he was considering his options, he noticed something strange the rabbit was pure black with violet eyes. Even stranger, its entire body was vibrating unnaturally fast.

Curious, Arthur reached out toward the rabbit. The moment his fingers got close, the rabbit suddenly vanished into a wisp of smoke then reappeared behind him.

Startled, Arthur spun around to see the rabbit standing there, watching him. He took a cautious step forward, but as soon as he did, the rabbit bolted, darting deeper into the woods.

"What the hell was that…?" (Said Arthur)

Arthur hesitated for a moment before deciding that he needed answers. "Luros might know something about this." (Said Arthur)

Without wasting any more time, he made his way to Luros' place and pushed open the door only to realize Luros wasn't there.
