Chapter 49:Orientation [3]

With my head out the window, I could barely hear anything due to all the wind, but I swore I heard a faint and furious scream.

"THAT'S BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO OPEN!"

Ignoring the carriage driver, Daisy pushed me aside and attempted to reach her head out the window, but she could barely even get her neck out.

Compared to my astonishing height of 5'9, she was three inches shorter, making me wonder if she was really older than me.

With both our heads out the window, Daisy expectantly stared up at me while mouing some words.

Again, I couldn't really hear anything due to the wind, but with my lip-reading skills, I believed she said something like this.

"I just saved your life, and you really can't even help me look out a window!?"

Taking one last whiff of the salty scent outside, I retreated back inside the carriage, immediately hearing a barrage of curses echo from the driver ahead.
