Chen Wei was the first to speak, his voice cautious. "Uh… Liora?"

She ignored him, her fingers still curled into fists as she stared at the ground. Her shoulders trembled, whether from exhaustion or barely restrained fury, none of them could tell.

Zhou Yinuo shot a look at the other two, silently urging them to do something before she exploded.

Liang Zihan sighed, stepping forward carefully, like he was approaching a wild animal. "Look, I know you're mad—"

Liora's head snapped up, her eyes burning with rage. "Mad?" she repeated, her voice laced with disbelief. "I dragged boxes in the heat for hours while those bastards sat around doing nothing! And then, after all that, they had the nerve to drive off without us like we're garbage?"
