Chapter 76: Not All Survivors Are Fighters

Inside the villa that Liora and her group had once considered staying in, the air was filled with tension and the sharp stench of blood. The survivors who had occupied the place unfortunately weren't strong fighters like other groups.

They were ordinary people, with a few low-level awakeners, who had survived more through luck than strength, and now, luck seemed to be slipping from their fingers.

"Block the damn door, quickly!" a voice hissed through clenched teeth.

They had dragged two heavy wardrobes, a desk, and several chairs against the main door of the room on the first floor. Sweat dripped from their foreheads, and their hands trembled with every movement.

The groans and wails of the zombies outside made it more difficult for them. They were filled with terror, not knowing when they would be suddenly ambushed by a wave of zombies.
